>> game day. goals and cowboys later we'll have that for you coming up in this hour. having some fun. >> scott? >> good morning. >> how is it going. >> amazing. >> i walk outside today. >> it feel like spring. >> hard to believe that we're talking about the end of october and guess what? temperatures right now waking up in the 60s for many and that's actually where our current high temperatures should top out around this time of year. but right now, we're taking a live look across the area. the sun is not up just yet, but those temperatures are going to soar. temperatures already look at the numbers here. 61 degrees current until philadelphia. you can blame that wind direction out of the south and west that is a warming wind. we're talking temperatures by this afternoon nearing 80 degrees. so look at the numbers right now. 63 in pottstown this morning. 62 atlantic city. 64 right now in wildwood. a beautiful day on tap down the shore. we have 63 cape may point. 60 in cinnaminson. and 61 already along the boardwalk.

so weather bite numbers scale of one to 10 today we'll give 810. temperatures this morning in the 60s. by this afternoon, look at that high, 78 degrees. but we do have the threat of some late day evening showers. we'll talk about that rainfall chance. a cold front moving through and also cooler conditions moving in for halloween. that entire seven day forecast is coming up. back to you. >> thank you so much, scott. this morning we're following some breaking news. police say in northeast philadelphia at least one person was shot. they're dealing with that situation right now. excuse me. we'll get right out to the scene where our own steve keeley is there on adams avenue to get us all of the details. all right. steve is making his way to the scene. we'll get to him in just a second. he we will continue to follow that story and bring you the updates they are available. also breaking a powerful 6.6 magnitude earthquake in central

and southern italy leaves thousands of people homeless. officials say it happened early this morning near the ancient seat of norch that region has been damaged by previous quakes during the same. witnesses say the paint benedict cathedral crumble to the ground. at this time no immediate reports of death or serious injury. and happening now, a man is in critical condition this morning after a shooting in the olney section of the city. police were called to the 5500 block of rising sun avenue around 1:00 a.m. this morning to find a 33-year-old man shot in the stomach. he was taken to einstein medical center in critical condition. investigators are still looking into a motive and have not made any arrests. investigators are looking into a police-involved shooting overnight in fair hill. it happened around 11:00 p.m. near the 2900 block of north front street and then moved to

the area of north water and gurney street. we don't have any information on suspects but we do know an officer did fire their weapon. officials say no one was hit or injured during the shooting. at 7:04a police-involved shooting in camden county saturday morning is now under investigation. the camden county prosecutor says a driver fled a traffic stop on route 130 in haddon township and crashed into a car. he then got into a scuffle with a police officer who fired a shot. the suspect was hit in the leg and taken to cooper medical center where he was later released and arrested. he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. one witness recorded the aftermath of the suspect being treated at the scene. >> when i opened up the front door i seen a guy on the stretcher. my uncle said he had heard one shot. and it was a bunch of cops. everything was taped up. >> the officer is now on administrative leave while the camden county prosecutor investigates. ♪

moving on to political news in this morning's you decide 2016, while the fbi is taking another look at hillary clinton's e-mails, the democratic presidential candidate is pushing hard to gain supporters in the battleground state of florida. while the fbi announced the bureau is continuing the criminal case against hillary clinton, over the use of her personal server and e-mail address as secretary of state. clinton held a star event featuring pop super stars jennifer lopez and mark anthony. she encouraged people to stand up for change. while she says donald trump is encouraging fear among the american people. donald trump on the other hand is commending the fbi and the department of justice for attempting to fix the quote grave miscarriage of justice ". back here at home there's a new record in pennsylvania the senate race between incumbent pat toomey and democrat katie mcginty is now the most expensive race in our history. that's according to a new report by the center for responsive politics.

$118 million has been spent so far and about 90 million of that is coming from outside groups like super packs and non-profi non-profits. toomey and mcginty remain neck and neck in the race and out come that might change the balance of power in washington. the winner here in pennsylvania could decide which party will hold the majority in the united states senate. make sure to stay with fox 29 for complete coverage as we enter the final leg of this election season. when we're not on air, we have the very latest on fox29.com. it is 7:06 this morning. septa is preparing for possible strike this week. 5,000 septa employees could walk off the job as early as tuesday. septa has posted an alternative plan on its web z if the union doesn't reach an agreement witness transit authority by midnight on monday, service would be impacted beginning november 1st. regional rail would be the only train service option for traveling in and around

many on adams of a just a couple of blocks off the boulevard in northeast philly, and we are outside a club called club pull sol ski hispanic nightclub one of the many around here and what happened was there was some kind of verbal fight and then a guy comes up with a gun, pistol whips a guy, wasn't enough to beat the guy with the gun then he shoots and kills the guy with the gun. shoots and kills a second guy. the first guy was 25 years old. the second guy may be the same age within an hour because police think twin brothers shot out here. that guy is critical at the hospital right now. then a third guy got hit with maybe a stray bullet and was driven in a private vehicle to the hospital. the sun is coming up that will help the crime scene unit they've been going all over this huge parking lot with flashlights looking for any other bullet shells. you can see the one evidence marker with the letter a there right in front of the club. that is one shell they found, and again, they've got

surveillance video like we see in so many other case you can see the surveillance camera right above the front doors of this club. the question is was it strong enough and was it light enough out here with these parking lot lights to capture any of this. the one good news they have is, they got a pretty good description of the killer's get away car, it stood out, too, because number one it's a yellow hatchback not many of those on the road. four door sedan. but it has delaware state plates. so they'll be looking in the delaware registration files for any cars that are yellow with a four door sedan hatchback in delaware being a small state maybe helpful to find that vehicle and maybe also alerting the oz pass to see if they've got anybody coming back down in delaware through the ez pass lanes as well. so that is the scene here. we'll head over to old york road as well, bill, and we'll have complete follow up on our website as soon as we get any new information on either of these two murders overnight in philadelphia. >> sounds good, thank you so much, steve. keep us informed. i know that you will.

if anyone has any information on that car, steve gave a very good description of the car. please call the police. they need your help. scott, looking out on the roads still the sun getting ready to come up. doesn't look that bad out there right now and you say maybe a record setting day? >> yeah, i mean we're talking temperatures upper 70s, even nearing 80 degrees across the area, bill. it really depends on how much sunshine we see before those clouds overtake the area and then late this evening that cold front will bring some showers and then cooler temperatures by tomorrow on halloween. look at the numbers right now. we're talking 63 in pottstown already 60 in wilmington. look at the poconos right now 61 degrees. we have 62 in atlantic city. so much of the nation looking at some warm temperatures. 67 st. louis. dallas right now 64. in around arlington later on for that game this evening temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s but some cooler air will head in our direction behind that front. weekend wendy is head to the race to cure sarcoma.

registration is at 8:00 a.m. a 5k run at 9:00 at the warminster community park. it is going to feel like spring out there. look at those temperatures by noon we're looking at low 70s there in warminster. across the area today, 78 degrees the high temperature in center city. we'll call it partly sunny because the clouds will be moving in. a beautiful day down the shore. 74 degrees and low 70s in the lehigh valley. so as we time out that front and the rainfall, you can see much of the day it's dry, 1:00 o'clock looking pretty go good. by 4:00 still pretty good and then clouds and showers moving into the poconos. later on this evening that front moves through a couple of scattered showers behind that front we clear out. a wind will shift out of the north. that will mean temperatures will be dropping as we move toward tomorrow so 78 for the high temperature this afternoon and that seven day forecast shows only upper 50s as we move toward your halloween. ♪ so jenn when was it's last time you got a raise?

♪ in live look out at reading as their getting everything together. ready for their halloween celebrations coming up in just a moment we'll have some more information to share with you about our halloween celebration, but first, let's take look at some of this morning's top stories. bill cosby is now declaring himself legally blind and saying he won't be able to identify this accusers. his lawyers have filed new court documents saying and i "no 79-year-old blind man could possibly defend himself against a claim that he sexually assau assaulted someone he supposedly met once half a century ago" cosby is facing three counts of felony indecent assault all stemming from an alleged incident in 2004 during which a former temple employee says that

cosby drugged and then violated her. more than 50 women have come forward claiming sexual misconduct. let's see what we've got coming up little bit later on after us on fox news sunday. this week on fox news sunday a campaign bombshell. the fbi reopens its investigation into hillary clinton's private e-mails. we'll talk with the republican vice-presidential nominee indiana governor mike pence about the stunning development and we'll ask the chair of the house intelligence committee devon nunez why the fbi is re-examining what clinton did four months after saying the case was closed. then clinton's campaign manager robbie mook responds. all this week on fox news sund sunday. ♪ scott it's one of those days we should just keep doing weather over and over again. that was buck getting up into the 70s in october. hard to believe. i mean well above average for this time of year. temperatures expected by this afternoon, bill, i mean we top

out around 62 in philadelphia. we'll likely be in the mid and upper 70s. right now look at this. already 61 degrees. that's about average for the high this time of year. winds out of the southwest at about 6 miles an hour looking at 64 degrees right now in wildwo wildwood. 62 in atlantic city. 60 wilmington look at the pocono mountains right now 61 degrees. we'll zoom in a little closer. coatesville this morning 53. we have 60 newtown square and upper 50's right now in west chester. so temperatures well above average. we will see more clouds than sunshine. 78 by this afternoon. then this evening, we're watching a cold front that will bring the threat for some scattered showers and then cooler temperatures by hallowe halloween. so we're timing that front much here's 5:00 p.m. showers moving into the poconos the lehigh valley around, say, seven, coy eight cog, moving toward the philadelphia area. what's left of the moisture into parts of south jersey by seven, eight and behind that system, we are clearing out and turning cooler for your monday. so once again, by lunch we're

temperatures across the area this morning in the upper 50s and low 60s. so for breakfast, brunch we're looking at temperatures by noon already 71. by this afternoon we should top out around 78 degrees. more clouds than sunshine and then by dinner we're watching the threat of some showers moving our way. but look at these temperatures. it's 63 this morning in pottstown. 60 wilmington along with millville. 62 degrees already in atlantic city. temperatures down the shore will likely top out in the low to mid 70s by this afternoon. voorhees this morning, 61 degrees. so across the region we're looking at those numbers in the 70s. 78 degrees in center city. partly sunny skies, evening shower chances, 74 down the shore. lehigh valley temperatures top out in the low 70s. we have some cloud cover out there this morning. but we are dry as we go hour by hour, though, you can see by five, 6:00 o'clock, north and west, reading moving into the lehigh valley watching some of those showers, then right around dinnertime, moving northern and western suburbs approaching
