inconveniencing 400,000 riders an a judge ruled against injunction that septa rejuste quested that would force 5,000 bus, subway and trolley operators back to work. septa officials pushed for legal action saying the strike was causing immediate dpainker to the safety and welfare of the riders. a judge said their case was not strong enough. both sides will be back in court on monday. >> we're not going to lie dow down. while we can't resolve the strike and watch passengers suffer. not going to do it. it's too important for people that can't get other rides and can't afford ub erin lifts and have to get to medical appointments. >> we recognize strikes are inconvenience and cause people tone dur conditions they would rather not endure and union would not endure and that's not a basis to grant an injunction

were trapped inside a second car and rescuers had to cut them out of the mangled wreckage. both were taken to the hospital with broken bones and thankfully they will survive. >> at 7:06. happening overnight, crews race to put out a house fire in the philadelphia logan neighborhood. it started inside this two story brick row home on mentor street around 1:00. firefighters quickly dousing flames before they could spread to the neighbors. no one was home at the time and cause of the fire is still under investigation. >> and a massive cleanup is underway and repairs are being made in the wake of a major water main break in east falls. take a look at this video. look at that. this shopping center looks like a natural disaster hit when a 48" pipe ruptured late yesterday afternoon and the flooding stranded 75 people along the 2800 block of fox street. as you see, crews actually had to use inflatable fwots get people out of the parking lot and get them to dry ground. many were customers grocery

shopping at the shoprite when they saw all the commotion. >> i noticed people were running and i tried to lock and saw water gushing. and i panicked. i didn't think but i ran through the water and not thinking but my car is first car right here suv and it's just destroyed. water was gushing through it. >> as you can see there's a lot of property damage. but fortunately no one was injured. officials are still trying to determine what caused the break but believe it could just be due to age. the water department told fox 9 the city main system is over 1 100 years node need of ongoing inspection and repair. >> a lot of soil addage when this shopping certainty was build and that's initial pressure on the pipe the pipes are over 100 years old and every time we have a large transmission main break we do the diagnostics. >> this area of east falls has had three other major water

main breaks since just january of 2014. 7:08 let's move ton you decide political coverage. we're three days out from presidential election and both candidates and surrogates are pushing hard trying to win over undecided voters and get them to the polls. president obama continues to support democratic candidate hillary clinton on the campaign trail. the commander-in-chief spoke at a rally in charlotte, north carolina, he amped up attacks on republican candidate donald trump who he says simply is unfit for office. >> and the fact that he has gotten this far tells me the degree to which our politics has become like a bad reality tv show. >> president addressed the crowd as they started arguing with a protester telling them not to get distracted and repeating his plea not to boo, sirm my vote.

katy perry in philadelphia at the mann center for performing arts and monday clinton will nerve philadelphia with her family and with the first family for one final campaign event before election day. it's 7:10 we're now haring a jury reaches a verdict in the bridgegate trial both defendants guilty on all charges. bridget kelly and bill baroni were convicted of creating traffic jams at george washington bridge in 2013. prosecutors say it was for political retaliation and both defendants testified they believed the lane closures were part of traffic study and that contradicted governor christie statements about when and when he knew about the gridlock. governor christie was not charged and both kelly and baroni denied involvement while prosecutors think otherwise. >> i'm innocent of these charges and i'm very very looking forward to this appeal.

is carry on his legacy and you know, i always think to myself, what if susan g. komen stopped trying because you know people that cared for her stopped trying. you know, we need to be avoice for this disease because there's not an active enough voice right now. and as much as it say difficult situation for us to go through, because we are constantly reminded of the disease that took him from us, you know, we're trying to make a difference in other people's lives. that's something that mark so want todd do before he pass away. we started our own non nrovt conjunction with our family to continue to raise funds for the smevk mutation he possessed. for lung cancer. and we also support another non profit called free to breathe. >> are people hearing you? i mean talking to you and obviously it's a powerful story if you get to sit down and talk to you. most if you talk about lung

cancer they say i don't smoke and dismiss it. >> that's a great we. we're finding we have a great network of people. and our network also talks just as much as we do. and i think we have to be examples for the people around us so they become examples and advocates for this disease as well. you know, we incorporate our younger family members in the conversation and i'm here now and one of the nieces she talks about this disease just as much as we do at a young age. i think that's so important that people start talking about it and continue talking about it. >> what can we do? i mean we were talking about it. he was in good health. he was active. he was young. he didn't smoke. what do we look for to know we're not in a situation like this. >> sure. so, you know if you have a lingering cough that won't go away, you know don't dismiss. it go to the doctor. you know, mark took himself to the emergency room. his symptoms were unrelated he

had lymphnodes swol anyone pelvis and didn't feel that something was right and he went to the emergency room and you know i think the biggest message i can portray is listen to your body. know when something doesn't seem right and gone to the doctor. it might take time out of your day. but it could totally change your life. i remember when mark initially had the sim toymz was like i'm sure you're fine i'm sure it's just a cold. and it turned out that from the beginning, he had stage four lung cancer. so as early as we thought we caught it it was still not early enough. and in mark's case, however, it would not have mattered. he possessed a specific mutation which would have continued to wreak havoc on his body anyway unfortunately but i would advice people if you have any symptoms that don't seem right go to a doctor. >> especially men we don't do that. >> yeah. >> there is advance coming up tell us about this. there's an event at memorial hall. >> free to breathe event we

day five of negotiations are expected to resume at the downtown cher aton today. so far we know the strike inconvenienced roughly 400,000 riders and no end in sight. last night a judge ruled against septa request for injunction that would have forced 5,000 bus, subway and trolley operators back to work. septa officials pushed for legal action saying that the strike was causing an immediate danger to the safety and welfare of the riders and a judge said their case was not strong enough. both sides will be back in court on monday. >> we're not going to lie dow down. why we can't resolve this strike and watch passengers suffer. we're not going to do. it it's too important to get people who cannot get any other rides and can't afford ubers and lifts and got to get medical appointments. >> we recognize strikes are inconvenine and we recognize strikes cause people to endure conditions that frankly they would rather not endure and the
