>> on saturday afternoon, nine people were gathered at this house in the 100 block in newark. 26-year-old jeremy arrington arrived and fatally stabbed three people, injuring three more. the deceased victims are an 8-year-old, an 11-year-old, a college student and family friend who is 23 years old. the other three victims were a 29-year-old female and a 13-year-old twins. there not been identified but

they remain hospitalized in critical but stable condition. according to acting prosecutor, the man was out on bail for a different crime at his time of arrest. the family knew him for a very long time. one of the victims was aware there was a report out for his arrest and posted something on social media about his whereabouts before he arrived at the house. the prosecutor said he arrived at the house in order to confront the person who wrote on social media about him. after the stabbing occurred which took him about one hour, he fled the scene to what a neighbor said was the back window of that house. with the help of the community, he was arrested on sunday night around 9:00 p.m. he is scheduled to appear in court on thursday november 10. everyone at the police office wanted to thank the community for their great effort in helping arrest him.

out of a car onto the curb in a cage almost a week ago has passed away. >> the whole staff worked so hard to get him through this. in the end, his body just gave up. the severity of everything was so bad that he cannot pull through. >> when i saw grant, he was in bad shape. his bones were sticking out, he had been completely shaved. he was very weak and frail. he cannot stand on his own. the nurse had to hold him up. the hold him up. the dr. believes that he was hungry. >> we given food and i think he suffer consequences of that feeding was part of it in the end. i think that he ended up with fluid in his lungs which was another complication. he ended up going into shock. >> he had been starved for months on end. they're trying to feed him food but it wasn't enough.
