[music] >> the video is called the 609, by a student. he goes by the name of tony beats an his take of the son by philadelphia rapper meek mill. [music]
12:35 am
>> but i have to go on on a limb i want to give the students a trophy. first of off, they are using skills and editing and production skills but i do want to be clear that i don't agree with the content in the video you see students rolling dice, standing on desks, fighting, acting like they're shooting gun but also, bill, what i commend them on is they actually formed a social movement at their school in which 200 students staged the walkout because they were upset for the administration for punishing them. >> i thought it was just a joke. i don't think they should have gotten in trouble for it. they should have never posted it. >> fighting for a cause. they didn't really do anything bad. it shouldn't be like that. >> i was friends with some of them, do you have to be on their side? do you feel bad for them?

12:37 am
put it in a video and put it on youtube as a music video. that's public knowledge now. >> the work that these kids did on the video is commendable. i do think as a school district should have used the two weeks more wisely, teach grammar, perhaps get these students to organize maybe a documentary club in this school or music video club, use their time more wisely. i had to ask the students what you think of the actual video and content and the ones i spoke to they said they weren't actually that happy with the content and they thought -- send a wrong message to younger kids. >> beautiful, it was awesome. make more videos, but the people that should be really upset is ed harver. >> thanks, ashley. >> it's december, you guys. chick out this video for a glimpse of season.

>> the same is holding true of the bridge-gate trial, a monday after that trial concluded, i brought you the story that one of the jurors asked to be excused in the heat of deliberation n. the wall street journal just wednesday unearthed more details about exchange and could form the basis of an appeal trying to get themselves spare prison time. according to article, the judges improper handling of the jury or who wanted to be excused would be the focus of those appeals where the judge had clerk and staffer speaking with the jury or instead of calling the jury or into open court where the judge and lawyers could question this perp. according to wall street journal, the jury or texts one of the staffer at 7:00 a.m. the day jury was left home early

saying that the jury or wanted to be excused. we still don't know the reason why the jury or felt necessary to get off the panel and the entire 12-member jury did return guilty on all counts verdict at the end of the trial. it's interesting to see how different things could have been if the judge had swapped jury or in favor of alternate jury or, we could have been talking about a hung jury or or acquittal. at the end of the day the third court of appeals will decide if they get a new trial or gets thrown out. february 21st. they will probably get much less than that and u.s. attorney said he would be willing to let them stay out of jail while the appeal is going through the court. so for all updates on this case, follow me, the show at chasing news, friday is another big day for bridgegate in the municipal
