it is cold, the bitter blast. you felt it when you walked outside on this saturday morning. wind chills in the teens. the air is dry. remember that moist tour icer, remember the chapstick as well. it's only going to get colder. the producer covered in snow. that's aaron's car out of ambler, montgomery county. we had some bust of some snow flurries dumping a quick coating in some areas across the region, but once again we are talking about cold weather. this morning, that car, get out. take a look at the pocono mountains, great for making snow, of course we're looking at temperatures in the poconos freezing for this afternoon but certainly great weather to continue to make the snow. take a look at ultimate letter. you can see around ambler moving into parts around haddonfield. thats what the quick burst of

summer we are are even when the humidity is skyrocket like the r has done it. it's a ghost town. we've seen a couple of runners. maybe someone bundled up, but not really anyone out. let's take a look at the video from last night into this morning. people bundled up. the city now declaring a cold blue throughout the city so they're trying to get homeless people off of the streets into shelters. boy, did we run into some awesome people last night who were taking matters into their own hand. they weren't waiting for the city to try t get people off the streets. people who live in and around the city were handing out blankets and gloves to try to help out. i just brought out some tenths and some blankets and some cushion. things that we see that they need. we see that people just need it. so it's hard to walk past people

announced the attorney general nominee jeff session will have his confirmation hearing on january 10 and 11th with the hopes of having him confirmed as soon as trump takes office. president elect donald trump will join host chris wallace tomorrow morning for an exclusive interview on fox news sunday. chris spoke with with trump in new york city and aboard his private plane trump force one in what will be his first sunday show interview since winning the election last month. fox news sunday starts at 9 right after good day philadelphia weekend. back here at home two men are in the hospital after being shot while sitting in a car. police say it happened just after midnight, along 30th and upon contain streets. both men were shot in the leg. one was contain to hahnemann hospital, the other to em t many university hospital. they were approached by at least two other mails who opened fire on the car. we failed on the highway in

excess of 30 shell casings and then the mails fled. both men are in stable condition. so far no arrests have been made. police are hoping nearby surveillance cameras will lead them to the shooterment philadelphia firefighters had to brave the coldest night of the season to ballet an overnight blaze in overbrook. fire ripped through a home in the 6700 block of malvern avenue sending a mom and her two kids out into the cold. the flames started in the basement and spread to the first and sunday floors just as after 11 last night. firefighters had the blaze out in under an hour. nobody was hurt, but two other homes on the block suffered some minor damage. a hit and run in west philadelphia sent six people to the hospital, including three young children. police say a cadillac ran a red light yesterday afternoon along 57th and walnut streets. that person hit another car ejecting a six year old. the driver of the cadillac ran away. that six year old is at

children's hospital with internal bleeding and fractures. two three year olds were also hurt. two adults in the car with the kids are in crit contact condition. all three kids are stable. meanwhile a passenger in the cadillac broke her leg of a final farewell for a local hero, senior firefighter artist hope will be remembered today at the chase center on riverfront. the public viewing begins this morning at 10:00. her memorial service and funeral will follow at 1:00. hope died last week after being badly burned fighting a house fire back in september. meanwhile funeral services have been announced for the new jersey state trooper killed in the line of duty earlier this week. the funeral for trooper frankie williams will be held on monday in atlantic city. a viewing for law enforcement will be from 10 until noon followed by a public funeral inside boardwalk hall. trooper williams died monday night responding to reports of

an erratic driver on route 55 in millville. a car crossed over the median and hit his cruiser head on. that driver also died. trooper williams was just 31 years old. he leaves behind a wife of just three months. and police in south jersey are after a reel live grinch. someone is out to ruin the holiday spirit ines sham. police say they've got more than a dozen reports of stolen or vandalized property. on knocks street yesterday. it has neighbors concerned. they say someone stole t their santa last week upsetting their children. i came out one morning and looking around the yard and something looks different and i'm like santa claus is gone. and it turns out a lot of people had their stuff taken. > lawn projectors have also

the victim said she was in her bedroom changing when she saw the man and what appeared to be the flash of a camera through her window. it happened late monday night. this was just a few blocks from em t many university's campus. the victim told investigators that she had a similar experience last month. police want this peeper caught before he acts again. a federal judge here in pennsylvania says he'll rule monday on a bid seeking a recount from the presidential election. judge paul diamond heard arguments at the federal court e computer hackers was involved. they say there is no evidence of interference. one of philadelphia's most familiar us and historic streets needs a little help. the street right in front of independence hall is singing. a 50 square foot area of cobblestones right in front of independence hall has been disappearing for daze. the philadelphia streets department tells us the water department will go blow ground

agency helping pep with disabilities to engage more fully in activities. art, music, dance, it's something that all are very passionate about and it brings them to life. about 200 people perfect participating. we've brought out our classic art rollers which attach to wheel chairs and have a handle. we have what we call our peg owe paint poles. we're going to put some yellow on it. we created these tools after growing up in a foster home with adults with disabilities. if you want to have a full art experience you have to create the means to make that happen. you can't use the standard off the shelf paint brush. i can remember giving my foster sister a ride in the red wagon to catch the bus because she couldn't get there fast enough with her crutches. and those moments shaped what i would does an artist.

tomorrow we're looking at mostly cloudy skies and north and west we'll have some areas of snowfall in the hey lie valley and pocono mountains. that's where we'll get a couple of inches to accumulate there. watch what happens overnight sunday monday. we start to really warm all of the levels of the atmosphere above freezing. so maybe mixing with a little bit of sleet or some priesting rain early on, but slushy spots will be washed away after those temperatures warm early on your monday for that monday morning commute. so once again, other than a few is i patches far are north and west it looks like the temperatures will be warming above freezing. we could see maybe one to two inches in but, county, the lehigh valley before we see all of the accumulating snow washed away with the temperatures climbing into the low 50s as we move toward your monday and then we're talking another cold blast. take a look at thursday into friday of next week. we're talking high temperatures

only right around freezing. become a master builder, we are joined by two master builders here. like the lego move yes, everything certainly awesome. joining us now we have meaghan master builder at the lego land discovery center in boston and kid judge aid know n peterson. tell us what it means to be a master builder. >> they have built things for the attraction. they teach the classes for the kids. they talk to the kids about tips and tricks of building with lego bricks. what did you do to win this competition. >> we had a build off competition. there are three rounds of a theme and a time limit and we had to build something to impress the judges and interact with the crowd to get the

position. have you always been into legos. >> owe, yeah. it is so interesting. > do you work in engineering. >> i have a bachelor's degree in architecture. > that is my full-time job. > and so what do you have here for us? >> we have a few builds. aiden built this right before our segment here. itself a he it's a fish. the master builders, people competing for the job. do you build these with regular leg owes or to do you have to get special ones. >> these are all basic bricks and he's going to reveal what we were building earlier. the number two right now. do you know what the number one is. >> barbies. we love legos. they got star wars set. aien, you're a big fan. do you love the sets. what could this possibly be? it's philly reted. what is it?

>> the other way. love. we all know and love this. how long did it take to do that. >> about p 15 minutes. owe, my goodness. > i was going to say, try to build something real quick. we're going to have you guy try and build something. we built snow flakes and see if you guys can build snow flakes similar to these or try and build your own. we have some examples for you. i need some help over here. i need the master builder. what should i aim for? >> can you just tell us a little bit about this event happening today and tomorrow at plymouth meeting mall. anybody can come out? >> anybody can come and watch the event. you can root on your favorite builders and what they're building. you can talk to the builders and see p if they're what you think is the right kind of person for the job. there's going to be three rounds of building and a different team
