doppler look at the shrug of moisture moving across the ohio river valley headed towards the delaware valley later on. we'll zoom in a little closer, we have the cloud cover, most precipitation the light freezing rain, the sleet and the snow is just off to our south and also west, so we'll continue to keep tabs on the cold air and moisture moving toward our area. high temperatures will be stuck in the 30's but once again, we are keeping tabs on a light wintery mix primarily after about lunch to him. weather weather advisory posted for, lancaster county, here's the breakdown across the area for today. high temperatures center city around 37 that light wintery mix. light rain, mixing in with a little bit of snow down the shore, upper 30's, 34 in lehigh valley. by noon, south and west, watching some of that light snow

kind of move toward the philadelphia area, the i95 corridor. into the afternoon and also the evening. much more on the tomming and the totals expected coming up. >> thank you so much. following breaking news out of strawberry mansion, three people now in the hospital after a shoot-out outside of an area bar, security guard firing back after he heard the gunshots, let's get out to jennifer joyce live at police headquarters with more on the story. good morning to you, jenny. >> reporter: good morning, at least 19 shots were fired by private secure staff. they were fired after the security guard apparently heard those initial shots fired and they wanted to get involved. at this point, it's unclear whether or not the three people who were shot were hit by the suspect bullets or the bullets from security guard. it happened around 2:30 this morning, police say several reports came in hearing of multiple shots fired in the area of 29th and ridge streets. when police arrived, they found a male victim at the scene, two

others arrived at temple hospital by way of private vehicle. according to police, a 24-year-old female was shot in the back. she was rushed into surgery. and is in critical condition. a 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen. >> down the street from the richard capitol bar, there was private security guards on location. they heard gunshots and they saw a person firing and they returned fire. three security guards total returned fire, a total of 19 shots fired by securities. >> reporter: at this point, police at central detectives are interviewing those three security guards to get a better idea of what happened. no word on who fired those initial gunshots, no word on any

arrests. lauren? >> thank you for update. police officer ok this morning after getting hit by a drunk driver, investigators say at 3:15 this morning, the officer was traveling along east huntingdon park and mccal center street in north philadelphia when the police vehicle was hit. the driver of the other car was taken into custody for a dui sad news. crews recovered the body of a u.s. marine who went missing last month, k9 units found 29-year-old lance james bottom lake in clementon camden county. he was last seen december 2 after after he left a tavern after an altercation. officials revealing disturbing new details about the woman charged with the rape, murder and dismembermen of her adopted daughter, sarah parker

and her husband. this coming to light after a week after the bucks county da charged packer and her boyfriend jacob sullivan with the gruesome rape and murder of 14-year-old grace, her body found in a wooded area in lieu certain county in october of 2016. documents showing that packer's ex-husband was convicted of raping a foster teen and molesting agrees between 2006 and 2010. a man responsible, morery's pier died. he grew up in west wildwood and opened up morery's in 1969, he was 87 leaves behind wife and four children. funeral services will be him on january 21 it's at 11:00 a.m. at saint anne's roman catholic church in wildwood. as president obama wind down his final term. he spoke to nbc he spoke about his accomplish meants and set

saturday across the area. we do have the cold air in place, temperatures below freezing, 31 in philadelphia, pittsburgh right now upper 20's, eight in minneapolis, omaha 19, dealing with an ice storm towards parts of the midwest, as we zoom in to ultimate doppler we have mostly cloudy skies, but it's dry start out there. most of the moisture still off to our south and west southern parts of maryland also moving into west virginia and working, as we expand the view, you can see the pink be that's the sleet. the freezing rain, the green, that is just all rain, we're watching it kind of move toward our area during the day today. so here's the main timing, between noon and 8:00. watching those temperatures, low to mid 30's, watching that light snow, a wintery mix kind of moving in likely a coating up to an inch. once again, not a whole lot of snow, still be mindful of icy patch, select spots on the roads. we'll go hour by hour, so once again, early this morning, running errands looking good, as

we move beyond, say, lunch time, look at the clock and look at the moisture. kind of overtaking the area, we're watching out for some of that sleet, the freezing rain, but look at those temperatures kind of marginal across the area, it's not going to be really a heavy snow event. by 6:00, dinnertime, we're still looking at some of the snow coming down across the area. look at those temperatures towards parts of extreme south jersey, central southern delaware, we're above freezing. mainly rain especial down the shore. you can see not painting the picture for a whole lot of snow. maybe a quarter inch to half at best. out of this particular forecast. weekend wendy looking at your day planner, morning impact snow by afternoon and evening, watching out for slick roads and icy patches. guys back over to you if you're a millennial, research reveals you're spending a lot of cash on coffee. apparently millenials are

security guard's guns or from the suspects at large. again, police say it happened around 2:30 this morning, they received multiple calls of shots fired in the area of 29th and ridge streets, when they arrived, they found a male victim at the scene, two other victims arrived at temple hospital by way of private vehicle. according to police, a 24-year-old female is in critical condition. both men are ok. police tell us that a fight broke out down the street from the ridge capitol bar, which led to a shoot-out injuring three people. >> officers arrived. they found a male, who was shot at 29th and ridge. a little bit later, two other victims arrived at temple hospital via private vehicle, there was a 24-year-old female. and a 26-year-old male. 24-year-old female was shot in the back. she was talking when officers arrived. she was quickly placed in surgery at temple hospital. her condition was critical.

why will we waste closet space looking at spring dresses in january and this is hard when you're in small spaces, i suggest items like this the storage bins, take your off season shoes store them in the basement or maybe under your bed. it's like a little tray and slides right under your bed. take them and store them somewhere else. now you're looking at your wardrobe as the season you're in, now you got this empty closet. evaluate the space. how can you get the most out of your closet space? are there doors do you have ample room on the bottom are there shelves? for stuff ton the door i love the jewelry hanger. accessories tend to get mixed up and tangled. if you use one of the hangers great way to stay organize and it's a good visual >> you can see what you have instead of having hidden >> then you pull it out and it's a big column's and you're like

just my in this case, >> sheekey. >> let's talk things over to scott williams for a look outside at our saturday forecast. >> taking a live look right now outside of our studios at 4th and market. it's dry, quiet and a little chilly on this saturday morning, no snow just yet. temperatures will be dropping as we focus in on those headlines it's a cloudy and dry start. later on this afternoon, a light wintery mix looking at sleet maybe a little bit of rain and some wet snow, temperatures will rebound next week. we're looking at upper 20's atlantic city, freezing in philadelphia at 32. upper 20's once you move north and west. we have the cold air in place, temperatures a little farther to the west, 30 in pittsburgh, only seven right now in minneapolis. here's the moisture, it will be moving from west to east around the ohio river valley. a major crippling ice storm for parts of the midwest. we're looking at some of that

light moisture headed in our direct. once again, we'll zoom in, dry, quiet, watching some of that snow, eventually later on this afternoon. not a whole lot of snow expected. maybe a coating to an inch at best. across the area. mainly north and west of philadelphia. this go around down the shore, it will likely be mainly rain, so temperatures will be marginal, main timing through about 8:00, a coating to an inch. watch out for icy patches and slick spots. 37 the high temperature in philadelphia. and as we move they said to tonight, temperatures drop below freezing. even if you see rain, it could refreeze, just watch out for that late tonight. we'll go hour by hour, by noon, still pretty quiet and look at those temperatures. once again, some locations climbing into the upper 30's to around 40 degrees, so where you see the blue and purple, that is the snow. mainly north and west, the pink a little bit of freezing rain and sleet. the green, that is all rain.

so once again, south jersey, parts of delaware, you can see by 5:00, we're looking at that wintery mix of mainly rain the farther south and east you head from philadelphia. 10:00 dropping a little bit, so could end as a little bit more of snow. once again, a nuisance event later on this afternoon, and this evening, temperatures top out mid upper 30's, there could be icy patches overnight. the rest of the holiday weekend sunday we're talking temperatures in the low 40's, 44 degrees on monday. then temperatures rebound but we have a little bit of rain especially tuesday and into wednesday. good day philadelphia weekend will be right back.
