making it as a woman but as an equal. >> when the male officers get hit on, that's super cool and he gets a high five, but sometimes as a woman you are seen as a liability. >> he has a side job as well. three years into her duty a friend suggested that she model in a runway show and the next thing you know she is an overnight sensation. and she has 138,000 followers on instagram. ♪ ♪ >> when i asked what she likes better, the sidewalk or the catwalk she says the catwalk. >> i would pick the catwalk. we all love to dress up and feel pretty. but it's not the filling. i know you guys work hard. it's very compelling. >> 12 hour shifts, 7:00 o'clock

to 7:00 o'cloock. patrolling solo in her squad car. she came over from the dominican republic at the age of five years old. she went to amherst college. she is successful in two fields. the people that say that she uses her body to track criminals into her web of justice, she says that that is not possible. have you seen their uniforms? it's not possible. but she does use her femininity in place of firearms. >> everyone starts crying and i don't know how to explain it. you give people respect. my thing is that they are clearly having a bad day because they are being arrested right now. why add salt to the wounds.

>> as far as modeling goes, i said it was a tough time for people like me and so she gave me some pointers. >> you are turning your body and you just try to look smaller. >> we even did the burning. >> what is that? show me that again. >> you know the movie weekend at bernie's. ♪ ♪ your arms are supposed to be up like this. >> the bernie. i didn't hear it. i thought you said the burning. i get it. ♪ ♪ >> she is a bad? and she is fabulous.

anything else like a training video. so go big or go home. ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ >> august 2, this 30 year old went on a job and left her home in queens. she never returned. hours later the police swarmed the area where she had been left. they found her lifeless body. ever since bill and his family and the nypd and the howard beach community and all of new york have been asking, who killed carina? despite a reward of over

$200,000, no one has been arrested. has the trails on hold? has the trail gone cold? i met with john kelly whose organization put together a profile of her killer. and this retired homicide detective who i have taken with me as a partner to investigate the tories cases, one is now carina. >> we would show the profile to her father who has been engaged in a tireless crusade to find his daughter's killer.

>> this is why you get pulled over by the police? >> well -- [inaudible] >> nice homes. >> this is not the picture that you get when you think of the situation. >> i cannot even express my

sorrow. i have conversation with my daughter, 17 years old. >> there was no reason for this to happen. >> we have done just about everything that we can do. >> they are doing everything that we can do and things that we cannot do. basically, i am leading the investigation from the beginning. >> that they my back hurt and i couldn't go with her. so she went by herself.

[inaudible] >> that is the lowest elevation wise. [inaudible] so if i was going to ambush someone, that would be the place to do it. she thought as hard as she could. maybe because she fought so hard is why she is dead. if she would've succumbed a little bit. i don't know. i mean, this guy had no choice. he was going to kill her when she was going to kill him. >> i found her. there were bloodhounds and 15 cops by the time i got down here. i just walk right in.

i knew exactly where she was. i knew where she was and they had all of these cops and dogs looking and i knew. oh, yeah. she told me that she was in trouble and should need to find her. >> she would not have had it any other way. >> you were that close? >> oh, yes. >> you still feel there is that on their? >> no. >> that was the last time they've heard her? >> oh, no, she has come to me in dreams. but that was the last. >> tomorrow on chasing news, the profile of her killer. it is not going to be a matter of if he wants to kill again, it is a matter of when.

he deep-fried the hoagie roll and then he puts fried meat inside, crab, chicken, having a combo and then he loads it on with lettuce and cherry tomatoes and an array of different sauces. >> wings and tenders. it's a beautiful thing. >> he created this about five years ago. >> me and my wife are making these beautiful hoagies. and he says it's your hoagie and we were like okay, zogie, that is it. >> ird took a bite. and i loved it.
