all four had their guns pointed and opened fire. a man on a corner was shot and transported to a local hospital by police. he's in table stable condition. police are calling this a targeted attack, but they're not sure the target may have been the target. the 58 who is not from this area may have been struck by stray gunfire. this is so sad. it's sad. people can't send their kids to the store. who would send your children to the store and not know if they're going to come back. marie may says she's lived in this the neighborhood for 30 years. when she first moved in hit was really nice. it has gotten progressively worse and it is scary for the kids who live here. they are using the crime cameras a along with information they've received present witnesses t learn more about this targeted act and find out who those four

brazen men are, men willing to open fire on a busy block when a school bus withs passengers is passing through. lauren. jenny, thank you so much. now to some breaking news, a crash in northeast philadelphia sends a man and a woman to the hospital. the two were driving down fifth street with when they hit hit a black kia a sole. the men and woman were taken to temple university hospital. the cause of crash is now under investigation. no one is hurt after a church in west philadelphia causes fire. crews were called to the 5300 block of south 52nd street shortly after 126789. 30. no one was inside at the time, but officials believe the fire started in the base many. another pedestrian hit and killed while walking. the latest victim was happened by a car in pottstown. it happened around 8:00 last night. police have not release any more investigation, but tell us they are investigating that accident.

>> my store of survival. my father passed away at the age of 49 to prostate cancer. little did we know in the beginning that prostate cancer had already metastasized in his lungs before we knew about hiss prostate cancer. in 199 my first brother was diagnosed with prostate, in 2001 my second brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer and free my youngest brother who was who he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and every time somebody was diagnosed with prostate cancer the cans of me having prostate cancer continue to go up. in 2004 my psa rose one point, it went from one to two and i said let's do a biopsy because of our family history. and because of that i got it early enough. i had it removed. and i'm still around. >> here you are. a year or two late started a foundation for prostate cancer. here's a question i have. obviously i think you already answered it. how hereditary is it because my

father had it. >> very hereditary. i don't know what age you are now. >> 35. i'm told by the time i'm home? >> maybe before that. > dr. georgia medical you want to speak to that? >> the sidney kimmel cancer center and the foundation for breast and prostate health, the first general consensus on the genetic testing. we're trying to put all this information together. this field is rapidly evolving. we know a lot about breast cancer and ovarian cancer in women, we're starting really now to get our hands around this issue of inherited risk of prostate cancer in men. it's a new field. all the technology, all the latest breakthrough are being brought forward so rapidly we thought it was time to get everyone together, researchers, clinicians, genetic counselors and put our arms around this to give advise not only to patients but to providers about how to best approach this. and how cool that we're host it

in philadelphia. >> we're very happy to be here. > can you you talk about some of the warning signs that people should look out for. robin he knew family history so he was proactive. some people don't know what they're looking for. >> we don't like to find patients who have symptoms from prostate cancer. in its earliest and most curable stages prostate cancer has no symptoms. screening for prostate cancer when a patient has no symptoms right now is very controversial. so it's very important that the patient has a good dialogue with provider as to are they the right one to undergo psa testing. you are a keynote speaker. when you share your story, what do you hope they walk away with. >> a sense of urgency is what i hope they walk away with. but i'm speaking to doctors here. the people that -- are dog the research. >> they're dog the research i want them to understand that sometimes we move fast and

because of the mixed messages that have been coming out from committees over the years, dr. are sometimes indecisive, do we move forward? how do we press forward? do check this person. >> i'm telling you, man, they need to start getting check earlier, there's an age. i say age 406789 a lot of doctors believe age 40678 you need a are the staying point. some say age 50, it depends if you have a familiar high history or no. it would be just like anything else. you don't want to walk in the middle of it because you don't know how long you have been cared for as far as psas are concerned which is a way of checking. you don't know where you've been over the last five years if you walk in and you have a psa of 2, 3, or 4. dr. georgia mellow, talk to me, sometimes it's a struggle with getting men into a doctor's office.

>> that's correct. women are much more proactive in their healthcare than men are. i think if men understand that this is the leading cancer in men and one of the leading cancer killers in men that we can find it early and treat it very effectively. once the cancer spreads outside the prostate, our cans of curing the disease go down dramatically. we are making advances in that area, but right now the best way to cure prostate cancer is find it early and treat it effectively. > that's exactly what happened with my father. they got it right at the nick of time. > it's not going to be a lot of warning signs in the beginning, that's why it's important that we get the information out. it's important that a guy like myself gets the informing out. doctors have been talking about this for years and a lot of times you have so am -- i could share with you associations or committees that are out mr. pushing back and the doctors said, no, no, that's wrong. we have the studies that say we need to start checking h this out a little sooner.

shoe maker road around 8:00 last night. police are investigating the cause of that accident. new jersey governor chris christie has increased patrols around houses of worship. the announcement came during a news conference yesterday with the attorney general, state police and homeland security officials. the increased patrols are as a result of jewish cemeteries being vandalized and community centers forced to evacuate because of threats. it's happening all over the country, including our area of new jersey, delaware and philadelphia. people at the temple emmanuel in cherry hill are divided over whether the increased patrols will even help. > it does help and the best people who are thinking and seeing the security will think twice whether they will do it or not. i don't think it's going to help because it's in people's heart. people hate. > the governor also says there's a $10,000 reward for information leading them to any violations of biased crimes.

> more than 40 shots fired at a school bus in logan a. a child was aboard and the bus did look riddled with bullets. thankfully no one was seriously hurt. jenny joyce, we're going to check in with her again at police headquarters with the latest on this investigation. >>reporter: good morning, lauren, 42 shell casings were found in the area of 19 and wing hocken. if you take a look at this bus, all of the bullet who else, the shattered window, there were three people on board. it is pretty incredible that no one was injured. the driver happened to be traveling in the area of 19th and wing hocken when four masked men captured on video crime cameras, all four opened fire. a man on the corner was shot and answer ported to a local hospital by police. he's in stable condition. police are calling this an ambush-style targeted attack, but they think the shooters missed their intended target.

i got interest in other cities but we wanted to do it again here because this is where i'm from. we want to get as much coverage of this as possible, as many people as possible so they don't think of cheesesteaks and beer when they think of a if it and active lifestyle. was it hard to get people on board? >> i don't think it was as much. i think everyone is a little more excited about the fact that it's something that they can vision and look at. when you look at something, it gives something to your brain. it gets you more stimulated and more motivated to participate. this belt keeps track of everything? >> it keeps track of everything and every time you go to the city fitness gym there's a screen right in haven't from of everyone so you're able to see if you're working hard and if you're not it stays at a certain percentage, at a certain color so it kind of pushes you to really challenge yourself. do you wear this all the time. >> i wear it all the time to be honest with you.
