33 in allentown. we'll zoom in north and west. mid 30s in west chester, 34 degrees right now in doylestown. so look at ultimate doppler. we have a little bit of rain and some snow but that's off to our south and west. places like washington, d.c., baltimore look at a little bit of that activity that will stay mainly to our south. we'll zoom in around dover, a couple of sprinkles a lot of that not making it to the ground that. forecast for today, we're talking 46 center city, mid 40s down the shore. decreasing clouds. cool and breezy temperatures still below average. so coming up we'll talk much more about the milder temperatures as we head toward the first week lauren of spring. >> all right. i'll take it. scott. thank you very much. let's start this morning with breaking news. secret service investigating an attempted security breach at the white house. a driver was taken into custody after he drove up to a checkpoint, told security guards that they had a bomb. that triggered security alert. the vehicle was search.

bomb squad technician carefully sifted through materials taken from the car. there was no confirmation that there was any device in that vehicle but security at the white house was upgraded. there have been two other white house security breaches in the last eight days. back in our area police now searching for a suspect in north philadelphia. shots rang out shortly before 2:30 on the 2400 block of germantown avenue. this near west cumberland street. the 2484 old man was pronounced dead at temple university hospital. another shooting last night. this one in east mt. airy police were called to the 7400 block of fenton avenue around 9:00 o'clock last night to find man shot multiple times. investigators say the victim was between 25 and 30 years old. he was taken to einstein medical center where he died. investigators are still searching for possible suspects. and police are investigating a multi car crash in hunting park that left one woman dead. crews were called to old york road in west luzerne street around 12:45 this morning. to three car accident. 40-year-old woman went into

cardiac arrest and was taken to temple university hospital. she later died. conditions of the other people involved are unknown at this time. the cause of the crash is under investigation. now to a developing story. police releasing new photos of the people they think are hyped an all out brawl on wednesday at the vine street subway station in center city. police announced news via twitter. these types of fights are happening way too often in our city. jennifer joyce at septa headquarters in center city we a look at the suspects. hi, jenny. good morning, lauren. isn't that video hard to watch knowing especiallily that these are philadelphia school students involved? let's take look at the photos. these are the eight people that septa police believe were involved in that brutal brawl that happened at the race street subway stop on the broad street line earlier this week. do any of these people look familiar to you? if they do,

septa wants to hear from you. septa police say fighting and chaos at the end of the school day happens far too often on or near septa routes and they want it to stop. the punches were fierce, the fight was caught on camera by several on lookers. police say it began as snowball fight on the street that escalated to physical violence down in the race 59 subway station. it was tack on students who tend the nearby string theory school. as many as 50 people stopped in their tracks scared, concerned by what was taking place on the public transportation line. fortunately no one was seriously hurt in this fight but septa says for now, it is increasing patrols at known trouble spots and says arrests are coming soon and they will happen quicker with your help. again if you recognize any of those people who were in those suspect photos you are urged to give septa police a call and later today we will put those feet he is up on our website if you want to get another look head to fox29.com. lauren?

there. some melting continues. it will continue during the day today. startinstarting out this sundayh cloud cover but we'll see some sunshine by this afternoon. so things are looking much improved across the area. ultimate doppler right now showing you a developing storm system that's pulling away to our south and west. a couple of flakes possibly as we move around the dover area. but more in particular as you move toward baltimore, washington, dc, on this sunday morning they are looking at some of that light snow as this system kind of pinwheels to our south and then it will eventua eventually exit on off to the east. let's look at the temperatures right now. we have 36 degrees in wilmingt wilmington. 36 in dover. so many locations are above freezing. that 32-degree mark. even 33 degrees right now in the lehigh valley. those winds will be a little gusty by this afternoon up to 20, 25 miles per hour. looking at gusts in philadelphia 14 miles per hour, 20 miles per hour gusts currently in millville so that will make it feel a little colder even though temperatures will climb into the

growing concerns over how it could affect us locally. so trump's plan would increase defense spending to the tune of $54 billion. the proposed budget also ramps highering for immigration enforcement and border patrol. calling for 15,000 new hires. the veterans administration may also benefit by receiving a 6% money increase. which would provide health care and fund the vet program. other programs supported by his plan school choice advocates and charter schools. led paint elimination programs and substance abuse treatment programs. now to programs that may lose funding the proposed budget calls for a 9 billion-dollar cut to the department of education. some of that savings would come from deep reductions to some financial aid programs for college students. trump's proposed budget would cut funding for the national institutes of health, a major funder for philadelphia's medical schools and research hospitals by 5.8 billion or 19%. teaching schools like the university of penn and temple

checkpoint, told security that he had a bomb and that triggered security alert the vehicle was declared suspicious and it was searched. bomb squad tech nick carefully sifted through materials taken from that car. there was no confirmation that there was any device in the vehicle but security at the white house was in fact upgrad upgraded. there have been two other white house security breaches in the last week. and back here at home, police searching for suspect in north philadelphia. shots rang out shortly before 2:30 on the 2400 block of germantown avenue near west cumberland street. the 24-year-old man was fro nounsed dead at temple university hospital. a man who died following shooting in east mt. airy. police were called to the 7400 block of stenton avenue around 9:00 o'clock last night to find a man assumed to be 25 to 30 years old shot multiple times. he was taken to einstein medical center where he died. investigators are still searching for possible suspects. police are investigate a multi car crash in hunting park that left a woman dead. crews were called to old york
