assaulted her. dropped her off miles away from her home. sabina kuriakose joining near the scene with the latest on this awful investigation. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. lauren, we do know that this predator, this man who was bold enough to snatch a four-year-old child off of the street in broad daylight with others around, he is still on the streets this morning. two days after all of this happened. let's go to video. that we gathered now, parents in this area, so concerned with police warning people to keep an eye on their children, so make no mistake, this man is a threat to public safety. now, all of this happened on thursday afternoon, police say the four-year-old child was playing with neighbors and friends in the community of plum run, when witnesses say a white or hispanic man in a dark colored sedan drove up. he told the girl he had something for her mother and when she extended her hand to receive it, that's when witnesses say the man snatched

her, forced her into his vehicle, and took off, even as other children ran after the car. two hours later, the small child was found in a nearby park, partially clothed and when they took her to the hospital, police say they discovered that she had been sexual assaulted. this, of course, is every apparently worse nightmare. >> my back door opened, the screen door, all of a sudden i heard them screaming. and i -- i ran out and said what's going on? what's going on? and they said somebody took the little girl. >> i think what we have is a monster riding around looking for an opportunity. >> reporter: no other words to describe this person, truly a monster, here's what we know. this man was driving, a dark-colored sedan, tinted windows, he is described as being either white or hispanic

male, the fbi we know is assisting local police in this investigation. of course, if you know anything, please call police. right now, lauren, back to you. >> awful, thank you. two people are in the hospital this morning after a car they were in overturnpikes on kelly drive. this happening shortly before 4:00 near west huntingdon park avenue in east falls, the driver was taken to temple university in critical condition, the other einstein medical center, we don't know their condition, police are investigating what caused that accident. another person also in the hospital after being trapped in a car on i95. this happened near the entrance of island avenue exit in the northbound lanes. the person was taken to hahnemann university hospital with unknown injuries. a victim is speaking out about a terrifying moments an arm robber stormed into his store working in west africa oak lane when the masked man threatened him and another employee, police are on the hunt for suspect.

wilson fox 29, government officers in sweden deploying flags at half staff to honor the victims of a deadly terrorist attack. they have arrested the man who hijacked a truck then drove through a crowd in stock home and slammed no a department store. four people killed, a dozen injured, police have not yet named the man, there was no immediate claim of responsibility for that attack. police are in the yet ruling out the possibility that other attackers were also involved. now, turnin to developments in syria, the military said the u.s. is investigating whether russia played any part in the chemical attack that prompted president trump to order air strikes. the president said the response was in vital national interest of the united states. some lawmakers say it's time for congress to step in. here's what we know so far. the u.s. launched 59 missiles to a government controlled air base in central syria around 8:45 our time thursday night. president trump ordered the military act in retaliation for

here in the village of plum run, again, police say, a man white or hispanic driving a dark-colored sedan with tinted wind drove up to neighborhood children as they were playing. lured the four-year-old towards him and physically forced her into the vehicle before taking off. police later found her dumped in a park partially nude. they say she had been sexual assaulted. we do know that she was returned and is recovering at home with family but again, back here live, new castle county police investigating along with the fbi, they need your help. if you don't know anything, call them. they're looking foreman driving a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows sexual assaulting a four-year-old girl in a stranger dawk, that's the latest. we'll have more coming up. several people will be honored for work to help fight for the rights of the local lgbtq community from teenagers to organizations and businesses,

together until her death in known 91, the couple had a son, brosnan adopted her son and daughter from a previous relationship. his stepdaughter charlotte died in 2013 from the same disease that took her mother's life. according to the cdc each year more than 20,000 women in the u.s. will be affected by ovarian cancer, it's the 9th most common cancer and the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths. joining us to share her story of survival, sidney hunter. robin cohen from the cancer foundation. thank you for joining us. cindy let's start with you and your story. never an easy story, but take us back to diagnose when you were found out >> i was diagnosed in the fall of 2012 and misdiagnosed. that's a whole long story. but being treated since then, i'm still on chemo, what happens if it doesn't kill you the first time, it keeps coming back and

trying again. i'm having another, this is like my third recurrence. and started a new kind of chemo rounds of chemo, i wouldn't lose my hair this time, which is good. and but it's a hard disease, it's sneaky, and one of the problems is that it's very hard to determine that you have it. mimics a lot of other things, and there's not a way to detect it. so you can't go in and say, like, with, you know, like a mammogram, for breast cancer, you can't say do i have the test, there's no test. so we need research and we have money for research, so that we can have a way that women can go and find out early, because once you're stage four like i am, it's much more difficult to recover, than if you were diagnosed at stage 1 or two. you know, the survival rate is completely different, but right now there's no way to determine. so people will find out because they have -- they're having a

baby or they're having a problem with their endo meet roses and it turns out to be ovarian, it's kind of oftentimes found by accident >> the good is a good way to raise money and awareness >> we're having the walk. it's a 5 k and 10k. >> i remember taking part in it. two years ago >> you brought your dog >> diamond is always in the mix, we came out it was on the art museum steps. >> it's at payne park this year because of the nfl draft and it's fun to research, what's amazing, it's -- there's a lot of the women that attend are participating in treatments that were funded from the event itself. which is pretty incredible. and you know, the difference between survival and death is research. and so 100% of proceeds will

the neighborhood, now, again, this is a man, a monster as the police called him who had no fear in picking up a four-year-old child in broad daylight while other people watched. taking her sexual assaulting her and then dumping her in a park like trash. now, let's go to video that we gathered for you from yesterday as police searched that park for any clues that could help lead to this child predator. again, police are warning parents to be vigilant and watch their children. we know that there are several easter related activities happening today and police are saying that for sure, this person is out there, and that constitutes a threat to public safety. all of this happened thursday afternoon, when this four-year-old girl was playing in her yard with other neighborhood kids. witnesses say a white or historic man in a dark-colored sedan drove up to the children. he told the little girl he had something for her mother and then when he, the child extended
