♪ >> guys, this is will you cass, he is nine months old, he is absolutely adorable. happy little boy. i spent a day with his mom and him in new jersey and nine months on earth and will you cass' heart had stopped two times. a we tried to bring him home. he we had him on oxygen. we had tubing all over this house and lasted about two days before we broug him back and respiratory distress. he was two and a half months old at that point and he had full blown code the next dy and died. she had a torm totally normal pregnancy. all issues. born last june and 2016, self pound between ounces but the joy did not last long. the mom is a registered nurse in priceton. one hour after she noticed something was wrong. >> about look i said, an hour and a half, two hours later, he started having some respitory distress and we had to dock come machine and check him out and take ton ni cru.

the problems that he has. but he cannot peat them. that is the scary part. i think of addiction. >> i was telling the guys before we started to tape the seg am that i spoke to with the doctors last week. i talked about the difference between decision making andy sees. you don't get angry that somebody has cancer. his sister was mad at hem because in his sobriety over the course of six to agent days in rehab. he made conscious decision to get out and go back to the street. he went through detox then went though rehab facility and spent six days there. he was clean. he had a free scholarship to one of the best treat facilities in the area. he knew. you know, he wanted to own his sew pry ty. that is what he tells me mment i see him on the streets. >> getting out high. so the drug is powerful that after awhile. pit controls your movement and your decision and i shared a story about having prain surgery and a lot of times people have surgeries and they get on the very

high dose of opioids. i remember when the doctor had to pull me off. it really was almost like someone pulled the plug. >> there had been a lot of controversy lately with some peoples did apring saying we shouldn't call it a disease they say comparing it to cancer. you know, the hard work doesn't beat cancer and takes away the person al responges factor of getting over that and learning what went wrong. so i think, that is a debate because you see with governor christie. he now always calls it a disease. we spent it a love time in the generation haivier. your parent's generation. verys' city to look at your generation of college students to say, oh, you guys are all victims. a victim of circumstance. do you think it is that. i think it all depends on the individual? >> yeah. to be honest. i could be a victim of circumstance my entire family from about three generation above me has all dealt with some form of drug addiction so more so the person and the personal choices in how they feel more so than the situation. >> i mean, it really does
