61 degrees and look at that wind direction out of the south and west we talk about this yesterday. and how that southwesterly wind would really allow for those temperatures to soar. satellite/radar showing mainly dry conditions a few areas of some clouds as we move into sections of delaware, but most of that rainfall is going to stay off to the north and west throughout the entire day. take look at those temperatures upper 50s low to mid 60s already and we'll go hour by hour, upper 60s by nip am. take a look at the clock. quickly climbing into the mid to upper 70s around brunch time, and then later on this afternoon, yeah, high temperature right around 84 degrees for the philadelphia area. making for a very warm easter. so we'll take you hour by hour and you can see by noon up to 7. by 3:00 o'clock, 84, so lookin g good for church services looking maybe a storm late thisans. afternoon into the evening. so the bottom line, 84 center city. 74 degrees down the shore.

and low 80s bill anderson for the lehigh valley. wee talk about the pollen update, the travel forecast and when to expect the next best chance for rain all coming up. back to you. >> perfect ten in weather. thank you so much, scott. as we get into breaking news, we're following this morning, police are trying to figure out what happened after a woman was shot and killed in kensington. now investigators did find this gun at the scene. fox 29's sabina kuriakose is live at police headquarters with the story. good morning, sabina. >> reporter: good morning, bill. what a terrible crime to happen in the early morning hours of easter sunday. this was a 24-year-old woman she was shot to death and her killer is still out there. let's go to video that we got for from you the scene. it happened just before 1:30 this morning along the 3200 block of f street in kensington. now officers responding to reports of a shooting found a young woman lying in a pool of her own blood on the side of the street, and nearby the shooter

had apparently dropped his weapon, a gun, found in three parts at the scene. now, officers rushed the woman into the back of a cop cruiser. they rushed her to temple university hospital. she had one gunshot to the chest and arrived in critical condition. doctors worked to save her, but sadly she died within the hour. now, back here live, homicide investigators are now taken over this case. they say they are trying to find this woman's family to notify them. surely going to be very very sad easter sunday for that family and again this killer remains on the loose. bill, back to you. >> thanks, is a bean thatch keep everybody updated through out the show. man is in the hospital after getting shot in the leg inside a nightclub. it happened right around 2:30 at b side complex on delaware avenue. the 25-year-old was taken to hahn nan university hospital with non-life threatening injuries. no word so far on any arrests. in mantua, police find at least a dozen shell casings on the 3800 block of mount vernon street. investigators were called to the

area late last night for reports of a car being shot at. no victim was found at the scene, but there were 17 shell casings on the road. no word on any motive or any arrests. 7:05. the lights are back on in fishtown aft the power went out last night. it happened around 11:30 from aramingo avenue to frankford over 10,000 customers were impacted by the outage. officials say there were issues at one of the nearby stations. but peco was able to restore the power in just one hour. one person is in the hospital after getting hit by a car earlier this morning in center city. that person was taken to hahnemann university hospital with unknown injuries. no word yet on the vehicle involved. six-year-old girl and her grandmother in the hospital this morning after they were struck by a dirt bike in upper darby. hundreds of people including children were lined up for a show at tower theater on 69th street yesterday afternoon when witnesses say a man on a dirt

bike who was being chased by police hit the victims as they walk in the crosswalk. after the crash, the motorcyclist carjacked a driver at knife point and then took o off. >> immediately jumped off the bike, got into -- tried to get into a car that was next in line in front of him, got open -- didn't get open the door. the car sped away. he was hanging on to the side of the car. i'm not kidding much it was like movie. >> the car was spotted half mile away an man was found nearby and taken in for question. the child and grandmother are recovering. chaos after a deadly blast in syria leaves this scene of destruction. a car bomb blew up as buses were carrying nearly 5,000 evacuees on their way to save zones. at least 100 people were killed. the video shows debris just moments after the blast. so far no one has claimed responsibility for that attack. and in other international news, an attempted missile

♪ three men are in the hospital after a shooting in the city's fair hill neighborhood. philadelphia police say that gunfire broke out last night on the 2800 block of hope street. two men both 28 years old are in critical condition at temple university hospital. another 24-year-old man is in stable condition. the search is on for whomever spray painted graffiti on the cars of two septa transit officers. take a look. septa police chief nestel tells it happened friday night at the transit headquarters at broad and glenwood.

sea isle city toward the boardwalk. 60 in beach haven. temperatures off to the south and west, pretty mild as well and that warm air will head right in our direction. we'll go hour by hour, look at the clock and look at the temperatures. by 11am, 77 degrees in philadelphia. then those temperatures climb into the low to mid 80s later on this afternoon. bill, back over to you. >> thanks so much, scott. police are investigating the shooting death of a woman in kensington. let's get right owd to sabina kuriakose who is on the scene -- actually live at police headquarters getting details all morning. good morning, sabina. >> reporter: hi, good morning, bill. well, homicide detectives here at headquarters have now taken over the case of this woman found bleeding on the side of the street. gloats to video that we got for you this morning it happened just before 1:30 on the 3200 block of f street. police say a young woman, 24-year-old woman, was found shot once in the chest. when police arrived, there were no witnesses and this woman was alone on the street. they put her in the back of a cop cruiser and took her over to

temple university hospital she was in critical condition but unfortunately she died within the hour. at this scene, police say the killer actually may have left his weapon they found begun in three parts of the scene they say that could be a key piece of evidence that could help lead to whoever did this. but again back here live now homicide detectives have taken over the case. they're right now detectives trying to reach this woman's family certainly going to be a very sad and tragic easter sunday for them. bill, back to you. >> it is. keep us n. thank you sabina. students at the university of delaware are on high alert a mid reports of three sexual harassment incidents involving women just off campus. on friday night, a 19-year-old student reported being groped by a man who then just kept walking. half an hour on prospect avenue, police say a 20-year-old was assaulted in the same way by a man fitting the same descripti description. and then less than an hour later, two more women called police saying a man was also following them. >> maybe just be more aware, um,

and, you know, keep staying in packs and always have, you know, your phone on you. >> police say that no one was hurt. the suspect is between 20 and 30 years old. but officers don't know if he's a student. police in massachusetts have a lead in the murder of a young female jogger. vanessa marcotte out running near her mother' home last august when she was killed her body was found in wooded area in princeton. the 27-year-old was an account manager for google. authorities have arrested 31-year-old angelo cologne ortiz after matching him to dna found under her fingernails. the sister of celtic star isaia thomas was killed in a one-car accident early yesterday morning. police say that china thomas was knocked wearing her seat belt and died at the scene on under state five in federal way, washington. she was only 22 years old. isaia thomas is expected to play in the game tomorrow night against the bulls in boston.

the world's oldest person emma more reno died in her home in northern italy. she had full life. she was 117 years old born on november 29th, 1899. she's believed to have been the last surviving person in the world who was born in the 1800s. it's 7:36. animal rescue group if australia is pleading for someone to return the baby kuala they stole. three babies actually -- three babies were among 11 being treated with medication and are too young to tendon for themselves. the rescue says someone checked on the group when they came in friday morning but they didn't do a headcount. it wasn't until later in the day that they realized that three of the babies were missing. they each weigh between four and 6 pounds. >> just want them to come home. they're sick. they need care. um, people general members of the public don't know how to care for them. and can't do the right thing by them so just do the right thing

investigators did find a gun on the scene. that particular gun and fox 29's sabina kuriakose is live at philadelphia police headquarters with an update. hey, sabina. >> reporter: hey, good morning, bill. well it wasn't even dawn on easter sunday and homicide detectives at another case on their hands. this was a 24-year-old woman. she was found shot to death. this morning her killer is still on the loose. let's go to video that we got for you from the scene shortly after all of this happened. it was about 1:30 this morning on the 3200 block of f street. that's when officers responding to reports of a shooting found a young woman lying in a pool of her own blood on the side of the street, and nearby as you mentioned the shooter had apparently dropped his weapon, a gun, found in three parts and police are hoping this could be a key piece of evidence. now authorities put this young woman in the back of their police cruiser they rushed her to temple university hospital. she had one gunshot to the che chest. doctors worked on her she was in critical condition but sadly she

died within the hour. now, back here live, again, homicide investigators are going through all of the evidence trying to figure out just who did this, and why. they're also trying to reach out to this young woman's family sure to have a tragic and sad easter sunday but again, we're life here, homicide decks are working on this case. this killer still out there. bill, back to you. >> thanks sabina. we'll check in with in you a little bit. a man is in the hospital after getting shot in the leg inside a nightclub it happened around 2:30 at. b side complex right there on delaware avenue. the 25-year-old was taken to hahn nan university hospital with non-life threatening injuries. no word yet on any arrests. in mantua police find at least a dozen shell casings on the 3800 block of mount vernon street. investigators were called to the area late last night for reports of a car being shot at. now no victim was found at the scene. but 17 shell casings were found on the road. no word on the motive or any arrests. and thankfully the lights are back on in fishtown after

the power went out last night. it happened around 11:3 11:30 fm aramingo avenue to frankford, over 10,000 customers were impacted by the outage. peco was able to restore the power in just one hour. job well done. one person is in the hospital after getting hit by a car earlier this morning in center city. that person was taken to hahnemann university hospital with unknown injuries. so far no information on the vehicle involved. sadly a-6-year-old girl and her grandmother are in the hospital this morning after they were struck by a dirt bike in upper darby. hundreds of people including children there you're seeing it were lined up for a show at tower theater on 69th street yesterday afternoon when witnesses say a man on that dirt bike who was being chased by police hit the victims as they walk in the crosswalk. after the crash, the motorcyclist carjacked a driver at knife point and then took o off. >> he immediately jumped off the bike, got into -- tried to get

into a car that was next in line in front of him, got open -- didn't get open the door. the car sped away. he was hanging on to the side of the car. i'm not kidding. like a movie. >> the car was spotted half mile away and a man was found nearby and taken in for questioning. the child and the grandmother are recovering. the victims of charleston church shooting are being honored with a photo exhibit by the charleston international airport. it's been almost two years since nine people were killed during a bible study class at mother emmanuel ame church. two stained class pains are the focal point of the exhibit which is similar to the stained glass at mother emmanuel. there's also a bible on display owned by senator and reverend clemente pink me the pastor of the church who was one of the nine killed in the shooting. >> we are a gateway to the charleston region and we want them to remember what happened here as well as to be inspired about what this community showed in terms of unity. >> the shooter dylan roof in january was sentenced to death
