>> i cannot believe this happened and i was likely to be able to live my life for the next two months and work. >> she was upset that the cyclist did not get punished for running the red light. >> i understand he did not mean to do this. but, there was a time when automobiles they don't necessarily mean to hit people either but they have to have insurance. a long time ago and states they did not have to. now they do. too many things have happened. >> her medical costs are in the thousands of dollars now. at the suggestion of her father she created a gofundme page. people have been helping in contributing. so far she has raised over $9000. she expects medical costs to be around $25000. >> how did it happen? she was crossing the street? >> she had just started crossing the street. the light turned red. the bike it crashed into her. >> you live in manhattan, you are on top of each other and

>> so, to not surprise me when it brooklyn eatery opened up a spot with avocado entrées specifically. it was an immediate hit. welcome to the avocado world. >> ever since we opened that we have been extremely popular. we have been happy. people have been coming from all over. before learn to make what they had on the menu had to ask about the trend taking place. >> avocado hand. that's when people are attempting to cut and avocado in properly in their hand and i have to go to the er. so since i seems to be such an issue, we learned how to cut and avocado properly.

toast with hummus, arugula and watermelon radish. those my personal favorite. another had tomatoes, olives, capers and feta cheese. prices will run between seven and $12. for a lunch item it's pretty reasonable. well i did not learn any new tips about how to preserve a cut avocado because we know that the nightmare, that was refrigeration a tight seal. >> i asked but he did not think that was accurate. however, if you go to the supermarket and have last-minute guacamole to make, bring them home, wrap them up a newspaper and put them in an warm spot and that will expedite the ripening process. >> you wrap up the avocado a newspaper and put it in a warm spot. >> you don't like avocados? is that what you're going to tell me. >> i like guacamole but avocados, the only thing that's made of avocados that ali.
