it's getting to point where they're almost pushing the jury just to come up with a decision where they're being forced let's get this over with that creates serious legal problem. so i think the judge has taken them to their max and today they'll be a mistrial or there will be a verdict. >> albert, what do you think about the fact that bill cosby has been so vocal in the last 24 hours? i know last night he came out. actually let's hear what he said last night to his supporters. >> i think we have the sun. it will come. he did thank his supporters, he thanked the jury. who are we are. >> all of the the father's a happy father's day. and i want to thank the jury for their long days, their honest work individually. i also want to thank the

8:35 am
however, it really doesn't matter. those jurors are locked in they've been locked in they feel obligated to the case that's one of the reasons it's taken so long. they know what's at stake to just relinquish and walk away with no verdict kind of is not what they want to chief i think there's few people in there that are standing strong to their position whether it's to convict or to quit we don't really know that. so, you know, we'll have to wait and see today. but it's gotten to the point you've macked this jury out. >> right. >> ultimately a decision will be made one way or the other today. but it's been an interesting case. >> is it the clause beyond a reasonable doubt that the jury is having sort of hard time with? they've come back with so many questions and it seems like they're trying to find something but they just can't put their fingers on it. >> well, there are a group of people there that probably want to convict cosby, and there are a number of people maybe i think it's the minority, okay n want to acquit him. i think the wrestling with the fact there's a lot of evidence here that does show that, you know, listen, there is doubt.
8:36 am
there is doubt. i mean when she testified about the fact that after the so-called assault she continued to have somewhat of a relationship. she said she didn't remember she had 54 calls with him but there was contact. so it raises the speculation to say, hey, if you were assault wide did you continue to, you know, deal with cos bow? in turn her answers listen i was director of operations of babb i had to finish out my responsibilities in that job and ultimately i left. so it becomes a debatable issue when they go back and wrestle with the facts the jurors say, they fight back and forth as to what tis really means and whether or not it's enough to convict. i think that's what you're seeing here. >> also another issue with the very fact this is he said she said case. for example, we don't know in the jury hasn't determined whether or not what he gave was -- were quaaludes or was it benadryl. we don't know. back in the '70's it wasn't a banned drug and quaaludes were being used in the party scene. so i think the jury is struggling with beyond a reasonable doubt standard. >> all right. we'll wait and see and have the update for you as soon as it comes in to the newsroom. thank you both for joining you.
