for what's being called widespread abuse of public assistance program including medicaid and section eight housing. the ocean, prosecutor's office in a press release stated the defendants misrepresented their income when in fact their income was too high to qualify. now, the 14 arrest or seven married couples, notable name on the list was rabbi -- who runs a synagogue. he and his wife collected $338,000 between the two in wrongful benefits. all the rest of been charged with second-degree theft by deception. most have been released of this report pending a court date. >> we are joined by former morse county prosecutor bob, what's your take on this? how deep does this run? >> this is a multiagency investigation from the federal level, state-level, county level, agency level. i can tell you is a former prosecutor the defendants are in
