about 72 degrees. we also are dealing with some patchy fog out there. remember those storms yesterday rolled through. really heavy rain and some gusty winds. well, it left some moisture now we're dealing with patchy fog, pottstown 5 miles visibility. trenton 8 miles. the rest of us not that bad. once again patchy fog. not widespread but then mostly sunny skies through about noontime. 87 degrees and look at this. we are kicking up the heat. 92 degrees later this afternoon. those winds out of the west five, maybe even 10 miles per hour. looking at a lot of sunshine throughout make sure to stay well hydrated we'll keep those highs in the 90s at least for the next few days. so it's going to be a hot one leading in to the holiday. i know a loft people down the shore, out grilling, at the poconos, so we've got a loft activities a loft reasons to stay well hydrated as those temperatures really kick it up a notch. i've got look at your full forecast coming up in just a bit. lauren. >> birthday, girl, thank you very much. >> let's get to break news out of chester county.

police set to release new information about deadly road rage shooting. let's get right to fox 29's jennifer joyce live at the police station in west goshen with more. hi, jenn feature good morning, lauren. so yeah, we are expecting to learn more from you from west goshen township police at 10:00 o'clock this morning. they are holding a press conference. this is hours after releasing updated images of that pickup truck believed to be involved in this road rage murder. it's a red chevy pick up scene traveling through a residential neighborhood. police have been looking for the driver of the vehicle since 18-year-old bianca roberson was murdered on wednesday. police say she and the shooter were driving along route 100 in west goshen township. both trying to merge on to routd fire and shot the teen. she immediately died. family and friends held vigil fort recent high school grad roberson was planning to attend college in the fall until her life abruptly and violently ended this week. so, again, all police will tell us at this point is that they will update us on this

investigation 10:00 o'clock this morning. lauren. >> we'll be there for that update. jennifer joyce, thank you. >> happening today, you're taking live look at trenton, new jersey, governor chris christie has ordered lawmakers back into session on this holiday weekend. this comes after government services were forced to shut down when they could not hammer out a budget. the governor shut down non-essential services after and he the legislation failed to come to an agreement on friday. at issue, chris christie' did he say manned to overhaul the state's largest health insurer. he spoke yesterday about the state's crisis. >> 40 state park are closed. that's our forests and historic sites including island beach state park and liberty state park. >> it's impacting everybody, and, um, i just think they got to figure that out and fast so it's not inconveniencing the pub glike state prisons, state police, casinos and the lottery and new jersey transit remain open during the shutdown. budget trouble in delaware. lawmakers in dover also missed the deadline to pass budget. republicans and democrats could

not come to an agreement on proposed tax increases and government spending. but they did pass temporary measure to keep the state government running. it will last until tomorrow. lawmakers will return to work this afternoon hoping to hammer out deal. meanwhile pennsylvania lawmakers have a few more days to hammer out an agreement on the state's budge. on friday, legislators passed a $32 billion budget package. but lawmakers don't know yet how it will be funded. both the pennsylvania house and senate are set to return next week to figure out a spending plan. the state's current deficit is more than $2 billion through next june. let's get to our top stories more than two dozen states including pennsylvania pushing back against the white house after the administration requested the personal information of voters. president trump has a commission which is investigating allegations of voter fraud. friday the commission sent a letter to the states requesting publicly available information on voters. not a single state has agreed to provide all of the information.

overseas a series of car bombs have killed at least eight people and wounded dozens more. this happened early this morning in the capitol of damascus. officials say two other bombs went off after secure the forces chased down the attackers. it's unclear what caused those two explosions. and in north philadelphia, philadelphia police want you to be on the look out for this man. they say he's been missing since tuesday. his name jose cologne and he's 56 years old. investigators tell fox 29 he suffered a stroke several months ago and shows signs of paralysis on the left side of his body. if you see him, you're asked to call police. also, in north philadelphia, police are investigate a deadly shooting following an argument between two men. police say someone gunned down a 47-year-old man friday night. this on the 2400 block of west oak dale street. police say the victim had been fighting with a 76-year-old man. that guy tried to make run for it but police caught up with him. right now, no charges have been

absolutely gorgeous look at the park view and we are expecting that sunshine to continue throughout the day a great lead in for the holiday. 74, though, this is what lauren was talking about. not only are we talking very sunny conditions, but those temperatures on the warm side just to begin with that humidity pretty high at 91. but your humidity and those due tints are always going to be the high end in the morning it always is going to feel sticky yesterday in the early morning hours there wasn't out the day dew points and humidity does start to drop but it's still going to be a sticky and especially hot go of it as we head into the afternoon. we are looking in rehoboth 75 degrees. things are going to start really getting crowded down the shore as people knock down the shore this weekend and the next few weekends as well. current set up showing us those clear skies overnight we had some of those showers and storms push through. that has since moved off to the east of us. following that frontal system unfortunately it really didn't cool us down brought the storms but didn't cool us down.

we're right back into the 90s this afternoon. but behind it we've got this high pressure system and i like this setup because high pressure system settling in for the holiday. that's a good thing. high pressure means subsiding air, clearing thing out, and that's why we're going to see prolonged period of some drier weather. here we are looking at your future cast. you can see that dry weather continues into the afternoon. most of us clear. there is a chance for isolated shower but that's a very slim risk. most of us staying dry through our sunday and into monday very similar set up. monday morning really nice. lots of sunshine to greet us and through the afternoon an isolated shower or thunderstorm couldn't be ruled out that's typical for your summertime weather. afternoon thunderstorms passing through very very quickly but most of us staying dry throughout the entire day and even as we head into our jul july 4th forecast, notice we start off with lots of sunshine to enjoy. down the shore, 87 degrees is your high. tuesday into the low 80s. 76 by wednesday. lots of sunshine.

i'll talk about when we've got a chance for storms coming up in in just bit. lauren. >> thanks so much mon any k in southwest philadelphia city leaders wanted to make sure a local teenager who died in the orlando pulse nightclub shooting is forever celebrated. city leaders unveiled a tribute to honor and remember her. our jennifer joyce was there for the special moment. >> reporter: small gesture with great meaning to this southwest philadelphia family as the 7300 block of held within avenue is renamed akyra murray way. the newly dedicated street sign honors the 18 year old murdered in the pulse nightclub shootings in orlando just over one year ago. >> we moved on this block when she was eight months old, and she lived here until her ending day. it makes me feel great to know that she's being honored in this way. >> reporter: marie had just graduated from west catholic high school and celebrating at chief many with family and friends in florida when her life was violently cut short.

lawn err. we are in anticipating a 10:00 o'clock press conference this morning to give us some sort of update on this road wage murder at this point police will not tell us what that update is. but it's definitely something of interest in many investigation. this is hours after releasing new and very clear images of that red pickup truck that police have been looking for since wednesday. it's video of a chevy pick up scene traveling through a residential neighborhood again threes have been looking for the driver of the vehicle since 18-year-old bianca roberson was murdered in a road rage end counter last week. police say she and shooter were driving along route 100 in west goshen township. both trying to merge on to routd fire and shot the teen in the head. she died immediately. family and friends held a vigil for the recent high school grad. roberson was planning to attend college in the fall until her life abruptly and violently ended this week. so, again, police tell us that they have this update for us.

lawmakers in dover also missed the deadline to pass butch. republicans and democrats could not come to an agreement on proposed tax increases and government spending but they did pass temporary measure to keep the state government running it will last until tomorrow. lawmakers will return to work this afternoon hoping they can crunch out a deal. meanwhile pennsylvania lawmakers have a few more days to hammer out an agreement on the state's budget. on friday legislates passed a $32 billion budget package lawmakers don't know yet how it will be funded. both the pennsylvania house and knit set to return next week to figure out a spending plan. the state's current deficit is more than $2 billion through next june. now to our top stories. more than two dozen states including our own pennsylvania pushing back against the white house after the administration requested the personal information of voters. president trump has a commission which is investigating allegations of voter fraud. friday the commissioner sent a letter to the states requesting publicly available information

that's the way their evolution is. but it comes holiday time, everybody is out there, mayor barbecuing. they say here's a little piece of hotdog. there's corn, corn-on-the-cob goes in the trash. they show some interest and that's a problem. so you really have to watch on the holiday what your dog is e eating or everybody pays for it the next day. >> gotcha. if the dogs are running around outside in the yard witness kids thinking they can keep up, safe, not safe? is that dangerous for them? >> well, it's not dangerous if it's supervised but if the gate is left open the kids run out and the dog runs out after them that's a problem. so it's good to have the little id tags on or even better micro chips. >> yes. that are under the skin and can be scanned and give you the name and address of the dog. >> how do you know when they're out there and they're playing around when it's too much for them because i know she's little. i can take her for a walk sometimes and we come back in the house and she's panting and i don't know if she just needs water, if she's dehydrate, overheated? how do you know as a pet owner when they've had

enough? >> i had to give her a kiss. it's very interesting. heat and dogs are a problem. heat -- dogs don't regulate their temperature as well as we do. we sweat and we drink a lot when necessary. dogs can't perspire and they don't deal witness heat well. >> don't don't sweat. that's interesting. >> no, they don't. >> not that was their tongue either? >> well not enough to meet their needs. >> okay. >> they regulate their temperature by panting and by having a wider range of normal temperature. our temperature is very specific. with doing in the summer, what you do see that they have a lot of water available. >> all right. >> they must have shade. never to be left in the car without the air-conditioning on even to run into the store for a minute. they don't do well with it. and when they're running out, and playing on a day like today, or this weekend when it's going to be up near 90, they don't do well at all. >> gotcha. so just keep that hose around. >> gotcha. >> spray them off. dr. rosenberg, thank you.
