abused two children, five years old, on numerous occasions, while they were in his care. >> so steve keeley joins us from the day care now. steve? >> reporter: well, as soon as the judge heard that british accent, part of the arraignment, they wanted was his passport. they didn't want him skipping the country if he was going to make bail. they told his wife to go home to medford lacks, get his passport, she will will need that plus $200,000 if she want to get him out of jail. even if duncan round makes bail he has been told to stay away from his day care business here at ninth and south street in philadelphia. it stayed open yesterday after the disturbing arrest was announced. >> popping in here, all hours of the day, never anything suspicious hang here, i don't believe any of these allegations and i think he's going to be vindicate dollars, once the truth comes out. >> we became aware that two children had disclose that they were victims of the defendant while they were in the care of the day care.

on the 25th we conducted immediate forensic developed at philadelphia children alliance, and indicated this yes sexually assaulted by the offender. we went out to the location the day care, executed search want and processed the scene with crime scene unit. we did recover some physical evidence on location there. >> i'm popping back in and out. if you are, for two and a half years, random times during the afternoon, morning, whatever, never anything, duncan is a great guy, he lofts kids, this is a great place. you feel like family here. >> well special victims captain mark burbon would not detail what physical evidence they found with their search warrant a week ago tuesday here. duncan round, 53 year old owner, who lives in medford lakes, used to live not far from here in south philly. opened this place ten years ago. and for now he's in curram fromhold prison on state road

manhunt underway for derrick rollins, of southwest philadelphia. right now, what we know, police are trying to hunt down rollins, as well, as look for three people who they believe are witnesses to the shooting over the weekend. rollins 24 year old man from southwest philadelphia accused in those two shootings, including the murder of 29 year old john lee of narberth. lee was walking along haverford road to friends house when he was shot and killed, his sale phone stolen, so hatch forwards township police released these photos, three people, who they believe may have been witnesses to the crime. a boy on a bike, a man and a woman walking along the sidewalk, if you know these people, please, have them call police. police are interested in talking with them, hearing a little bit more about what they saw, what they might know. earlier this week police raided rollins southwest philadelphia home while at the didn't find the fugitive they did recover the vehicle believed to be involved in both weekends shootings. we know haverford township police, philly police, and the

us marshall's office are all involved in the search for this man, and there is a reported $7,500 reward in this case. also, an update on a story that we broke yesterday, an off-duty 22nd addition strict police office here cracked into multiple parked cars in the area of sixth and october forward street in north philadelphia with a blood alcohol content two and a half times the legal limited likely to be charged today, because the charges have not yet been filed, his name, still hasn't been released. we know he is 40 year old man, and four year veteran of the force, we are told that after charges are filed he will be placed on civilian status, he will lose his license as a result of the penned being dui charges, will not be fired from the police department again will be placed on civilian status will continue to work inside the station here. back to you guys. >> thank you for the update on both of those stories, jenny, we appreciate it. 7:08. now $10,000 reward to help

solve sexual assault case at norristown farm park. teenage girl told police she was jogging through the park, when a man held her at gunpoint and sexually assaulted hempment the vick tell was transport today einstein medical center to receive treatment. no word yet on any leads in the case. >> time now 7:09. one person has died after an accident involving a motorcycle. it happened just after 9:00 last night, on kelly drive. the accident was one of two separate accidents, at the intersection of kelly drive, and brewery hill. no word as to what caused that accident. >> police in south jersey arrest the husband after woman found dead in the family pool, and he's now charged with her murder. it happened at the couple's home on forest street in wool whiff township back in june. norman long told investigators he found his wife, michelle, dead in their backyard pool. but investigators say long killed his wife inside of their home and put her fully clothed body in their pool. they say he then drove to a restaurant, and came back and then pretended to find her.

morning. it is a sad morning in philadelphia. the phillies had to do this. it is just, just a sad commentary. and i go back to an investigation that baseball had in the 70s, investigating pete rose, and they conveniently lost the investigation, no sign of the investigation, when dowd launch his investigation in 1989, when pete was barred from baseball for gambling. you know why? because pete was going to be the great white hope for baseball. and they hooked the other way. remember, baseball was dominated by willie mays, hank aaron, billy william, ernie banks, all of these great african-american and hispanic players. so baseball needed the white hope. and they decide hey we can't have this investigation come public, and they just destroyed all of the evidence. and i really hope baseball accountable for letting this thing fester for all these

place to sit down with pete rose and talk that him. >> whether you heard he was being honored on the wall of fame, your thoughts? >> looks, he deserves to be on the wall of fame. unfortunately will never get on the wall of fame or the hall of fame. because of all his transgressions. i mean, for 15 years, he said he never bet on baseball. fifteen years. then he wanted to sell a book and he decided to come out and say i bet on baseball. this is a real, real problem, and baseball has got to deal with this. baseball could have dealt with it if rodmanford would have said, look, the commissioner of baseball, we have to abide by gomatti ruling that he was wards from baseball. matter of fact, in san diego, i almost lost my credentials because the phillies were in town, and i invited pete to a game in san diego. and i took him up to the pressbox. the next morning, at

7:00 a.m., warren miller, now the pr man for the colorado rockies, was the pr man for the san diego padres, and said we're going to remove your pass for the rest of the year and maybe for the next couple of years. sandy alter son, now the general manager, and president of the met called me and said, look, after -- we looked at this, you made a dumb mistake, but we're not going to remove your pass. >> for insiting him up. >> so talking about all of the stuff he's dealt with, his relationship over the years, with this latest thing happening, with the phillies now taking him off the wall, won't happen, won't be part of the festivities, bobble heads will be destroyed that originally within were going to be passed out. what's this do to his legacy now? >> welshing he was a great baseball player, but his life away from baseball is a total mess. a total mess. i hope that put it in context. i mean, great player. everybody would like to be

like pete rose as a player. >> sure. >> but as a man -- >> that's the looming question, bill. is there ever a separation with what you have done, not only pete, but just when we look at the leagues in general, with what you have done in your professional, in what you have brought to the game versus what you did in your personal life? >> i agree with charles barkley. he said athlete shouldn't be put on pedestals. they shouldn't be idlized. the people you should eyes lies are your mother and father. specially, if they gave you the foundation to succeed in life. i mean, we, as society, put players, and athletes, and entertainers, on a certain level. and i think we may have learned a very big lesson by putting these people in a certain cat gore that i they can do no wrong. >> i do want to ask you quickly, it was interesting, to hear the reaction once it came out, and even before when it was announced he was going to be on the wall of fame, some fans are still saying he

philadelphia documenting philadelphia police documenting the fact that they had pick her up in champ plows street and in philadelphia. >> that's bringing up the credible. so many people were attracted to the story because a lot of people use these car sharing services all the time, and they were wondering how did they, you know, get into the car. because lyft, aren't they saying, the company, that no, we don't have any records of them calling this vehicle? >> we have an investigation, our investigation will indicate whether it is all said and done in a the young lady absolutely contacted lyft. she did the right thing. lyft did the right thing. our investigation shows at this point in time who the driver was, and where are zeroing in on him as we speak. so a person of interest. >> go over the details one more time. two young ladies, they leave a night club. they order lyft. person comes along, they pick him up. somewhere along the route the driver says look i need to take my medication, tells the older sister can you please go

not gags station. >> the younger. >> younger sister, and he tax off with the older sister in the vehicle. it was a lyft driver, correct? >> it was. >> that can be confirmed? >> although lyft is saying there was no lyft driver? >> and again our investigation will show what happened. >> you have the vehicle description? >> we have the vehicle description. >> the driver? >> we have the driver. we have the documentation of the young lady using the app to contact the lyft. we have all of that. >> so the major question this morning, is there a concern for people who may be ordering a ride sharing service? >> no. i mean, i think lyft, and uber, are perfect examples of safety and making sure you're all right. but like anything else in life, do you have make sure you know where you are, and the circumstances you're under. if you're wacked out, doesn't matter. i mean, you are making yourself vulnerable. >> has the driver been located in a. >> not at this point in time. but we will locate him. >> okay. >> you're confident? >> i'm very confident.

but, again, i think the apps are great. and i think that they save people from dui's, and other types of things, but you still need to maintain your sense of security, your sense of well-being, no matter what do you. >> in hindsight then what could have been done differently? maybe somebody, i know, they say designated driver but designated rider? >> they did. there was the sister. >> yes, then she left. so make sure -- she went into the store. >> but together, they were -- they left together. and until the lyft. >> so maybe the lesson is if you have a request, from a lyft driver, maybe you should stay in the car or just everyone get out the car? i don't know. >> i think it is an isolated incident, something that doesn't happen, but this happened. >> overall if you ever feel un east bye a certain situation, obviously go with your gut. real quick i know you are still early in the investigation. can we expect a description, vehicle description, anything that may hit the airwaves
