very unfortunate. the younger this starts to present the longer it's on their mind and more room there is for that to turn into maladaptive unhealth full behaviors to control weight or appearance. >> and parents advice how do we tackle this with being consumed and over concerned and address it in a healthy way. >> paying attention to the way your child or loved one is talking about their appearance and in the physical they're talking about their appearance a lot at all. i mean that can potentially be a little flag. and i think you know having open conferences about what your body can do and other -- and highlighting other attributes about that person highlighting going back to school is a time to learn and highlighting area of athletic team or sport they're really good at or subject they're really good at and trying to move some of that folk us way to essentially communicate kit that your body image or what you look like is not the most important thing. >> and it's tough when you hear that from parents and go

around group of friends talking about other things. does it help, jenna if you have a child that says, my nose is is so big i hate taking pictures and if you try to redirect that focus to say but you have a beautiful smile does that help them or are they still focused on nose. >> i think that's going to depend child to child. i certainly don't think there's anything wrong with trying to highlight something else. but i think early on parents can have sknkss with their child about acceptance and highlighting we all have parts about ourselves or appearance we don't particularly love. but that's okay. that's part of like what makes us human and i think one of the things that parents and older role models can do best for our kids is by modeling. modeling healthy body image and being mindful of the way you talk about yourself in front of kids and how you speak about other people. if they hear you speaking about oh, she's so fat or i'm so fat or oh, god my nose is hidious i cannot take a picture. those kinds of messages stick actually a lot more than what

you're telling the child directly about their own appearance. >> they're going to mimic your behavior. that makes sense. >> how do you know when it's normal teenage concerns like oh, goodness whatever. versus it's become obsessive thing and they have an issue. >> right i think that's a great question. around this age the age your nieces are is when a lot of teens start to become more mindful of what they look like and i think just noticing intensity frequency and duration of how frequently they're talking about this and if you notice behavior change changes. if you notice compulsive exercise or notice a lot of dieting behavior or i'm not eating that before the beach and those are a little bit of what might be more of a flag to kind of look out for. >> all right. >> any final thoughts you want to give parents. know they'll be out you know buzz around trying to get school supplies. but i think also a little pep talk.

it could be less than 24 hours for this outage. because by the looks of it it looks very, very messy. lauren believe it or not it's a single tree causeing a lot of headaches for a lot of people. nearly 3,000 people in this area are without power here in doylestown. we're live at north street and chapman avenue that's because the tree came crashing down crossing across the street narrowly missing a house on corner ait did however pull wires down with such for the utility polls snapped. peco has been on scene all morning rights now they're at a stand still making sure wires are deenergizeed and they'll get to work replacing uactualty pole and fixing other polls on the block. several sustained damage and it's a lot of work but guys telling me if they get additional maybe power they think they can get the power back up and running within the next 24 hours. so while people wake up they're not super happy about not being able to do much around the house. and at least it's maybe one day instead of few days which by the looks of it that was
