talking about, right now, you can see, we've got some showers down through south jersey, millville, down into ocean county, near cumberland, talking south of atlantic city, has some shower activity, right along the garden state parkway. but if i expands this back, you can see, the rest of us pretty quiet. those soars are pretty isolated, a lot of cloud cover, kind of socked in with the clouds, we may see some patchy fog through the morning hours. but as we head into the later parts of the afternoon and evening, this will move out just in time for our sunday. so kind of spoiler alert. sunday looking much nicer. 72 degrees in philadelphia, dover, coming in at 72 degrees, atlantic city, 74, trenton, coming in at 67 degrees. so, a nice start to the morning, 60s, 70s, with some patchy fog, isolated showers, through about noontime, temperatures into the low 80s, as we head into the afternoon, still expecting that activity on the radar to be isolated, but we could see few more storms that could mean localized, some heavier rainfall, high of 82 degrees,

today, few degrees short of that average. and we're going to have cloud cover, why we're talking temperatures low 80s, then, 7:00, 8:00 the later you head into the evening, that's when the showers and storms start to move out. and the drier air moves in. i've got a look at the full forecast coming up in just a bit, lawyer glenn monica, we start this morning with breaking news, woman shot several times in her own bedroom. jennifer joyce, live at jefferson hospital there is morning, where the woman's recovering, pretty scarry, jenny. >> reporter: it is very scary, lauren, police tell us this woman didn't even realize she was shot at first. and yes, three gunshot wounds to her body, she's recovering here, list in the stable condition at jefferson hospital. police tell us it happened just after 12:30 last night, on the 8500 block of somerdale avenue. >> this woman was asleep in her bedroom, when she heard a noise, she woke up, walk over to heroin dough. it was open. she went back to bed. then she held this burning sensation and realize that she was shot. police say the woman called

911 and waited for police to arrive. >> at the same time her husband was coming in through the front door, but she thought it was the bad guy that shot her, so she was trying to push the door closed, not realizing it was her husband trying to come in after work. we have the actual screen, there is a big hole, and it appears that someone would have to actually climb onto a chair to actually fire into the bedroom area. and we don't have any witnesses. >> police say the victim works as a security guard for the county courtesies tell. unclear if she could have been targeted for any reason or if it was random. multiple people this this neighborhood did report suspicious activity in the last 24 hours, apparently there were two men in a van going door-to-door asking about a local car mechanic. we don't know if that could be related or not.

police right now working every lead that they have to try to figure out more about who did this, why, and any information about these suspect at this time. lauren? >> so bizarre, jenny joyce, thank you so much. developing right now, police say they're talking to a person of interest in the shooting outside a northeast philadelphia target yesterday afternoon, it happened on bustleton avenue, in northeast philadelphia, a group of three to five men started fighting when one of the men pulled out a gun and fired five shots. one man was hit. he is hospitalized, in stable condition, no one else was hurt, the gunfire sent shoppers scrambling. >> you we heard shooting, everybody started running. it is terrifying. i never want to be in that situation again. >> we in like the kids aisle. and all the sudden everybody's yelling, and they're running, and they're saying oh, my god, there was gunshot, gunshots. >> police say the gunman originally got away in a red honda sonata, officers tell us the shooter later turned úhimself in. police involved shooting leaves one man dead after officers say he tried to steel

a woman's car. this happened, just after 5:00 n north philadelphia. police say the officer approached a suspect, in the car, on the 3100 block of north darien street. that's when they say the man tried to grab the officer's weapon, struggle he ensued, the officer called for back up. that's when shots were fired. >> the male did comply initially. he let go of the officer's gun, then grab's officer two's gun, and a struggle ensued. the officers at that point, that officer discharged his firearm, and at least one of the other two officers discharged, too. it appears right now all three officers discharged striking the male multiple times about the left side of the body. >> the suspect died at the hospital. no officers were injured. now, to our top stories, penn state fraternity advisor will now have to testify in the high profile case surrounding the death of a pledge. the judge has now set august 30th and the date for the hearing. defense wants brean to testify about what he knew about the alcohol fueled party in february that led to the death

of 19 year old timothy piazza, brean had lived in the beta theta pi house where the hazing ritual took place, yesterday was day five of that preliminary hearing for the fraternity and 16 of its members who are now charged in piazza's death. the hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to go to trial. and it is a win for taylor swift. a judge has thrown out dj david mueller's case. he was suing the singer for $3 million claiming she got him fired after allegedly groping her during a meet and greet. but the judge said there was no proof that swift was the reason he lost his job. the 27 year old singer countered sued him for $1 million, claiming he reached under her skirt and groped her back in 2013. coming up at 7:45, our legal expert will join us live to talk more about those two cases. all right, scary moment last night, as air force two hit a bird that led to some turbulence. the vice president, mike pence, was on board. we are told just after take-off there was a bright flash outside the plane followed by loud sound.

here we go. into one of the last weekends of the summer. well, you know, for the school year, whatnot. unfortunately we are contends withing some rain showers at least through the morning and into the afternoon. not a washout. not an all day event.& that's the good news, 72 degrees, right now, in old city. the dew point, little close to that, the upper 60s, that's

why lauren was talking about some that far kind of soupy feel out there. we've got higher dew points, some of the moisture. we've got temperatures at 72 degrees, in sea isle, 73 degrees in north wildwood, at the boardwalk in atlantic city, talking 73 degrees. so pretty comfortable out there this morning, camden, at 69 degrees. but looking at your current set-up here, the showers that i was talking becomes there is a big system off into the atlantic. so we're work wag lot of moisture, because it is off into the atlantic. but, we're still seeing some that far training, that moisture moving through. so here are some of the showers moving through delaware, south jersey, back here into pennsylvania, it is very, very isolated, if anything. we're still seeing a lot of cloud cover, though. so that's what's going to keep those temperatures into the low 80s for today. this is where we've got all of the lift from. low pressure system off to the north. warmfront moved through late last night, through the overnight. that's what brought us those showers, through the overnight time. then, cold front's going to

swing through, that's going to bring another rounds of shower chances as we head into the later parts every today. under a marginal risk, new york, philadelphia, washington, d.c., under a marginal risk for anything that does pop up, to possibly become a severe thunderstorm, that's a very low risk for severe weather. so most of this is just going to be showers, general thunderstorms. here we are, look at your future cast, you can see like i was saying socked in with the clouds, we head through the morning hours, into the afternoon, maybe few peaks every sunday shine, you still need to keep an eye to the sky for few isolated showers, maybe rumble every thunder here and there, and exactly where those showers and thunderstorms poppy, pretty authorities say, as we are talking isolated shower and storm chances, but still need to keep that eye to the sky. keep track of the radarment rain chances do continue at least through the evening hours. but by the overnight, that's your last chance for some of those, some that far rain to come through, cold front pushes through. behind the cold front, looking at drier air, your look at your sunday morning, and

hair, what's almost as bad, several bystanders record the beating, several voices can be heard shouting encouragement to the attackers. >> kill them, kill them. if. >> here we, are the new blood sport, attending and recording vicious assaults or attacks, then postin them for the enjoyment of others. police tell us no one in this crowd of movie makers apparently thought to use their smart phones as, you know, phones to call 911, and get some help for the victims. so-called good samaritan or duty to rescue laws, very wildly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. it sure seems like we never hear about the prosecution of those bystanders, yuck g it up to the beat-downs, that seinfeld finale gave us unsettling view of our favorite misfits, were they really the kind of people who would turn their back and then turn their lens on someone who was the victim of it a violent crime? of course in the end remember the classic final scene, the cold and callous behavior,

showers, south jersey, and i do mean isolated, this is the a.c. expressway, so, we're seeing an isolated shower right over few cars driving down the shore. otherwise, most of us are pretty quiet. seeing some patchy fog out there, and temperatures into the 70s, 72 degrees in philadelphia, 73 in millville, 67 in trenton, 69 for those of just reading, allentown, coming in at about 67 degrees, we will start to warm things right back up be at been 4 degrees at 8:00 a.m., within the next few hours, then isolated showers around noontime, the key being isolated, so, you'll just want to keep track of the radar, through today, see where some of those showers have developed, if they're moving through your area, and if you need to head indoors quickly, it will be very quickly passing through. then, as we head through the afternoon hours, there could be few thunderstorms, high of 82 degrees, that would create some localized heavier rain, but again, not everybody's going to see that thunderstorm activity. rain will be moving out later this evening, as temperatures dive back into the 80s, and

bit. >> following breaking news this morning, woman shot several times, in her own bedroom, now, in the hospital. jennifer joyce, joining us live from jefferson with this story. hi, jenny. >> reporter: good morning, lauren, well, a frightening morning, for this woman, who was shot three times, again, while she was asleep in her bedroom. she is now recovering here at jefferson hospital. police tell us she listed in stable condition after this early morning shooting it, happened around 12:30 this morning, on the eight a hundred block every somerdale avenue. police tell us, this woman was asleep in her bedroom, when she heard a noise. she woke up, she walk over to heroin dough, it was open, then she went back to bed and felt a burning sensation. she realized she had been shot. police say the woman called 911, and waited for police to arrive. >> at the same time, her husband was coming in through the front door, but she thought it was the bad guy that shot her. so she was trying to, you

know, push the door closed, not realizing it was her husband trying to come in after work. we have the actual screen. there is a big hole, and it appears that someone would have to actually climb onto a chair to actually fire in to the bedroom area. and we don't have any witnesses. >> police say the victim works as a security guard for the county courtesies tell. it is unclear if she could have been targeted for any reason, or if this was a random incident, multiple people reported suspicious activity in the neighborhood, in the last 24 hours. there were apparently two men going door-to-door, asking about a local car mechanic yesterday. this tipped people off. had people reaching out to police. unclear what they were doing in that neighborhood. and why they were there, now this incident happens. so police are working on several leads, trying to figure out exactly what took place, why, lauren.

>> jennifer joyce, thank you so much. and also developing right now, police say they're talking to a person of interest, in the shooting outside northeast philadelphia target store yesterday afternoon. this happened on bustleton avenue, northeast philadelphia, a group of three or five men were fighting outside, one of them pulled a gun, and started shooting five times. one person was hit. he's hospitalized in stable condition. no one else was hurt. but that gunfire sent shoppers scrambling. >> we heard shooting, everybody started running. it is terrifying. i never want to be in that situation again. >> we were in like the kids aisle. all the sudden everybody's yelling and they're running and they're saying: oh, my god, there were gunshots, gunshots. >> police say the gunman originally got away in a red honda so that the, a that sheeter later turned himself in. man is dead by police after officers say he tried to steel someone's car. happened last night north philadelphia. police say offer approached the suspect in a car, 3100 block of north darien street. that's when they say the man tried to grab the officer's weapon, struggle ensued, the

officer called for back up. that's when the shots were fired. >> the male did comply initially. he let go of the officer one's gun. then he grab officer two's, gun, struggle for that firearm ensued. the officers at that point, that officer discharged his firearm. at least one of the other two officers discharged, too. it appears right now all three officers discharged striking the male multiple times about the left side of the body. >> well the suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital. no officers were hurt. >> that's where top story, scary moments last night, as air force two hit a bird. that led to some turbulence, vice president mike pence was on board, we are told, just after take-off there. was bright flash outside the plane. it was followed by very loud sounds. everything is okay though. the flight was not interrupted. also, last night, president donald trump offered reassurances to guam, as tensions grow between north korea and the united state. >> anything happens to guam, there is going to be big, big trouble in north korea. >> hopefully it will all work out.

>> five years old. >> you're a mother of two. she has a younger brother. >> brother. >> you had a baby, i remember, we a conversation about this, after your second child, you noticed that struggle with your body. >> i d i noticed like a cone head with my stomach. i always had a flat stomach, even after having milaniment, i had a flat stomach, so that cone head was an issue for me, i had back pains, my physician told me, you're making it worse, you have this, what women suffer after having multiple pregnancies, your muscles separate, there is no putting them back together, so they pop out. >> so a lot of women, i think, they start noticing this back pain, and the physical pain. and doctor, you can talk more about it. they start struggling, what do i do about this? you start to feel the pressure every want this body back, that i had before i delivered these kids. >> yes, there is a lot of pressure after pregnancy to get your figure back. sometimes it is unrealistic. you've been caring a baby for nine months.

you've stored fat. to carry the baby there is stretching of the connective tissue. the ligaments loosen, everything relaxes to make room for this growing uterus. so it is very hard to get your figure back. and not only are you exhausted, and maybe you have mood changes, and now you have a child, and where as before maybe you had more time for yourself, but can you also have the this which those muscles, which go from your, say, up here, your collarbone down to your pubic bone. they're a bands. what happens is they're sitting on connective tissue. the connective tissue separates, stretches, doesn't snap back. but usually does it, takes time. >> and in some instances like this it doesn't, women are -- so it was painful for you? >> it was painful. my organs, what happens, is it separate, so your organs start popping out, because you don't have that core support any more because it stretched. >> the shah sort of like a hernia? >> it is almost like a hearn y

instead of your is ten continues quitting through the connective tissue, so that you can actually see them, what they're doing is they're not being head in, like your connective tissue is like a girdle. and the muscles are like a girdle. and now the connective tissue relaxed, the muscles are on either side, and those things are bulging, they don't have support. and it can be very painful. >> got you. >> and really painful for me. can i say even during pregnancy, not knowing that this condition existed, i remember expressing to my husband i feel like my abs are ripping apart, so painful, that was during pregnancy, and i thought it is normal. then, you know, come to find out it is not. it is not. >> so, doctor, i have a question. is it more common after maybe your second or third child? is it because it's been just the stress and the trauma of the abs? is that kind of what happens? >> yes. so more stretching, more separating, more relaxation, and stretching of that connective tissue. >> okay. >> separation of the muscles, the bands of muscles on either

side. the more they move to the side and the more bulging you have. >> what's your advice for mom? i know some people take matters into their own hands like did you and get it handle. what if women are experience that back pain, not knowing what's going on? what do you advise? >> first thing they have to do, talk to their physician, second thing is they'll probably be referred for physical therapy. >> okay? >> to get those muscles back into shape. there are some abdominal muscles, abdominal exercises you do, that can actually make it worse. >> oh, so you have to be careful of that. >> yes. >> i read article over the weekends, people saying you can do some kind of stretching it, will help, but that could make it worse, and you might not want to do that? >> that's right. it is unrealistic to get quick results. don't forget that people like beyonce, and other celebrities, they have a whole team of people helping them. their job is to look good, right? >> yes. >> and i wish that were my job. right? >> we all do. >> well, can i say, that was my issue. where i couldn't work out any more. and that's when it was pressure on me, because that's

we're keeping an eye on the ocean city boards walk. it is foggy out there. people are still out and enjoying it. temperatures not all that bad. we've got 70s, and at this point pretty much rain free, socked in with the cloud and the fog. 57 degrees, dew points following right in behind it, which is why we're dealing with a lot of moisture at 73. so let's take a look at some of the shore line temperatures. ocean city, 73. like we were just talking about. seventy-four in north wildwood. a little bit more inland, hammonton at 71, camden counting in at 70 degrees, expanding this back, philadelphia's 73. now we're going to start to head back in the other direction. that's about as low as we went. now we start to see temperatures rising, talking low 80s, through the afternoon, but we do need to watch out for the chance, for few pop up showers, maybe even some thunderstorms. very isolated in nature
