on route 73 in maple shade. let's take a look at the video of what happened yesterday evening. the call came in a little after 2 a.m. this morning and police and investigators are just now leaving the scene after trying to figure out what led to a man being hit by a car and killed as he crossed the street in front of the clover hotel right as you you approach the merge on route 38. the driver of an suv that hit the pedestrian did stop after the accident. the name of the victim has not been release. although it's a little unusual that the investigation went on for nearly five hours of at accident, so far there's no indication of anything other than an accident with an extremely unfortunate outcome. coming back here to the scene. if you can take a look at the scene, one of the questions that investigators are going to have to figure out, it's a major road with no real place to safely cross and nowhere really to go at that time of the night. so the investigation is just

not the other. when these verdicts come down and the pro tests are planned some people are saying this doesn't change race in america, what's the point of this? i think we have the right to assemble and it's the therapeutic way for people to think back and try to re address the challenges. think about the protest and think about the fact that bone oh was so perplexed by this. bone oh asked the question is this 1968 or is this 2017? i think the protests are a way that people can pes clie assemble to address off the challenges they see as relates to some of these police officers killing and getting off with impunity. we're seeing a lot of arrests albert. when people get arrested on these charges are they usually dropped and people are saying this was in the heat of the moment? or are these serious charges that people are facing with these ar rests? i think it depends in

each case. in those situations the police have a duty, the duties on try to control the crowd, while people have a first amendment right to protest you're absolutely correct with everything that is going on. you you you also cannot disturb the piece and endanger everyone that is therement it is on a case-by-case basis. most of the time they'll be arrested and charged with something minor and then let go. if it escalates more than that then obviously there's other issues. let's switch to a chicago story. a lot of people talking about this . a 19 year old goes to the crown plaza with her friends, never comes out alive. there's some dispute there whether the video that police release is the same video that families are seeing. what are your thoughts on that? a. just looking at the story playout it's challenging. we know in the past there have been some challenges with that police department. we don't know what happened to her. but the other problematic thing is when the mom called the 911 dispatcher and the dispatcher says to mom

that. >> you you have to be appointed to be a commissioner, but the issues are so enormous we feelt like we needed to make sure that all all women had an opportunity to work on this particular body of work which is extremely important. so what we did was we formed working group committees. so based on economic empowerment we have education committee, we have entrepreneurship, mentorship with a focus on young girls and poverty and pay equity and so at this meeting that we're having on wednesday and even beyond that women can still reach out annual call us to join one of these working groups that are going to work on these very specific issues throughout the year. this seems like a venue or an opportunity for women to let the veil down and tell their personal stories and be trans parent about things that are happening to them which sometimes can be uncomfortable when you you you talk about that with them. i've had a discussion with a male counterpart and in the exact same job and we talked about money and my jaw dropped. those
