high temperatures today in the 50s and then some rainfall overnight tonight and a part of the day sunday but how will that impact the eagles forecast? we'll fine tune that all coming up. here's that cold front to our south. winds out of the north. ushering in some of that cooler air. we also have a coastal flood advisory early this morning watching the high tide cycle between the nine to the 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. hour for minor tidal flooding. otherwise look for cool conditions. a high today of 59 degrees. don't forget to fall backover night tonight into early sunday morning getting that extra hour of sleep. high temperatures tomorrow right around 66 degrees. we'll time out that rainfall and if it will impact the eagles game. bill, coming up. >> sounds good, thank you so much, scott. along with all the weather, there's some traffic news that you need to know before you head out the door this morning. the pennsylvania turnpike has closed the northbound ramp connecting state route 1 at the bensalem interchange. crews are working on the bridge.

so officials are warning drivers of traffic delays in that area. but the road is expected to open back up right around noon. so just chill. watch a little good day and they'll get it situated for you. after months of debate a decision has been made the statue of former mayor frank rizzo it's going to be moved from thomas pain plaza near city hall. jenny joyce is live in center city with the details. jenny, this has been going for for a minute. at least there's some sort of resolution. yeah, it's going to take little while, though, before we actually see this statue removed, and the city of philadelphia says they received thousands of messages people on both sides of the issue speaking up and after careful review the statue will be relocated. so last summer the statue was vandalized multiple times and people rallied for its removal. the city took that into account when deciding to relocate this historic iconic structure. and it will happen as thomas pain plaza is transformed into a

more inviting and engaging space according to the city it will be like dim lauer to dilworth plaza and love park which is still under construction. rizzo who reigned in the 1970's are 70's was known as enforcer of the law but today some people reflecting on his live call him a racist and think the has no place in public space. councilwoman helen gym helped to reignite the conversation in august and pushed for the statue's removal saying it does not represent the city as we are now. while opponents like jodi dell barber rizzo perm secretary says his reputation with african-americans not got a fair shake. >> if you were at his funeral you saw african-americans crying their eyes out because he was law and order. he was oppressive to crime. didn't matter. >> i don't think there's any question that he was controversial mayor. he rap on vote white platform. he had a lot of issues around, um, beatings and strip searching african-americans in the stree

streets. >> reporter: the city says it has received about 4,000 submissions as to where this statue should be relocated to it will now begin a feasibility study to find the best spot for the historic bronze. process of securing a location and then removing and simultaneously relocating the statue will take about six months. bill? >> thank you so much jenn feature check back in with in you little bit. at 70:00 sith turning to breaking news out of logan. police are investigating after a man was shot overnight. it happened just after 2:00 o'clock and we're told that the man then drove himself to einstein hospital for help. he's current until stable condition this morning. right now police are still trying to figure out where the shooting actually happened. right now, story has everybody shaking their head. elderly woman is recovering in the hospital after someone violently robbed and attacked her right in front of a church. victim was targeted in the city's fairmount second. on tuesday morning 83-year-old woman broke her hip when a

suspect knocked her to the ground while trying to grab her purse outside a church at 22nd and green. neighbors say she was rushed to hahnemann hospital. now as disturbing as the attack was, police say what may be even more troubling is that a witness said the suspect, a well-dressed man in his 30s, was actually inside the chapel of divine love moments before the purse snatching. >> outrageous. just -- there's nothing you can do. you're helpless. >> it's random. you don't know where it's going happen. when it's going to happen. not even a church is a sanctua sanctuary. >> i pray to the lord they put him in jail. anyone with information you were to do please contact the police. the police need your help in this case as well. take look at this car. it's the clue that police in bristol township are using to find a man wanted for an attem attempted luring. police say a ten-year-old girl noticed this car was following her after she got off her schoolbus and was walking home

on thursday. she told police the man said get in the car and then winged at her. once she ran the guy drove away. it happened on glenn rose avenue near melinda drive. police believe that the driver in his 20s. students in the burbs they're celebrating their football team but was it all good clean fun? police are on it. they're investigating whether students were selling pot laced brownies. fox 29's shawnette wilson has the latest. >> we're not sure what's in it. um, it could be marijuana. could be something more serious or it could be nothing at all. so we want to fine out what is in the brownie. >> reporter: radnor police are sending this brownie to a state police lab to find out what may be in it. a parent told them several kids got sick. they believe after eating brownies at an after school event. >> they believe they became sick at the radnor high school pep rally for the football team and also a pasta dinner. a tribute it to a possibly being

sickened by brownies that were laced with some type of drug perhaps marijuana. >> reporter: officers say they were at bryn mawr hospital around 10:00 o'clock last night on unrelated parent when a -- matter when parent proved them. one of the parents of a young girl that apparently ingested something with a controlled substance in it was there for treatment and they notified my officer. >> police say the parent told them six children had gotten sick but only two had come to the emergency room to be check out. police say school officials interviewed about 80 students today. police are also questioning students. >> we're not sure at this point what they ingested. there's speculation that's marijuana. we don't know. >> reporter: shawnette wilson, fox 29 news. this morning a once stolen painting scores big at an auction. a 1919 norman rockwell painting was returned to a family in march after it was stolen from their new jersey home. more than 40 years ago. family knew the painting belonged to them because it still had damage from where their father had struck the painting with a pool queue. the work of art known as taking

barbara boxer says a colleague made a suggestive comment about her during a congressional hearing in the 1980s. this is leading lawmakers to call for mandatory training and other steps to prevent sexual harassment in congress. and today vice-president mike pence is expected to visit york, pennsylvania, according to the white house. pence will be joined bite secretary of labor and others in a meeting with local business leaders and families to discuss tax reform. he'll then deliver formal remarks to attendees at the military and commercial fasteners corporation later in the afternoon. this all happens as president donald trump gets ready for his first official visit to asia. the president left for hawaii yesterday to get a briefing from the us pacific command. he'll then visit five countries over the next 12 days. starting in japan on sunday at the top of the agenda, the looming threat of north korea's developing nuclear technology. the president did speak to reporters briefly before leaving the white house. parents listen up.

what do you consider a good grade? as and bs, right whent comes to grade the steve philadelphia the people have one idea but our bruce gordon explains that the mayor's office has quite a different one. this could only happen in philly. i'm bruce gordon as long-time political junkie i've always had a grudging admiration for the press offices of elected officials. they're the folks tasked with spinning minor accomplishment noose landmark achievements. of turning negative noose neutrals and neutrals into positives. convincing you that up is down and that darkness is light. often they accomplish their task by playing with numbers and hoping you won't notice. it's in that spirit i say, bravo kenney administration. bravo. recently the mayor's office released an exhaustive survey of philadelphians attitudes about the city services they receive. you know, police and fire protect, street repairs, health and human services, water quality, that kind of thing.

standard procedure in these kinds of surveys is to use the job approval model that you use when raiding politicians. you give folks four options, excellent, good, fair and poor. when reporting the information to the public you boil it down combine excellent and good as a general positive rating, fair and poor as a generally negati negative. sounds pretty simple, right? well, according to the survey when philadelphians were asked to rate overall city services quote only 35% of residents ranked city services overall as excellent or good. 35%. just over a third? frankly that stinks. now it's time for the press officing to into action. in the news release put out by the mayor' office here's how they described things "more than 80% of residents surveyed rated overall city services as excellent, good or fair" see what they did. added fair to the excellent and good column to make it seem like all three were generally positive.

they're not. let me repeat. excellent and good are positive, fair and poor are not. and no amount of press office spin can make the school grade equivalent of a c fair sound positive. you do have to hasn't it to the kenney press office. they did get one major news outlet to swallow their spin. there it was in the philadelphia daily news "83% rated city services as excellent, good or fair". in that press release mayor kenney is quoted as saying he wanted the survey because it's important for city officials to know what you think of the job they're doing. the good and the bad. it's all very nice. but just don't redefine the te term. fair isn't good. and just about 100% of philadelphians know that. only in philly. ♪ i'm sorry, the conversations that go on -- first of all bruce is hilarious in bringing things down and the behind the scenes

happening right in front of you good samaritan who was in that situation stepped in to help but it actually landed him in the hospital. fox 29's joanne pileggi has mo more. >> reporter: after hearing this story, you may think twice about trying to help out if you witnessed a domestic dispute. a good samaritan ended up in the hospital with critical injuries after he tried to intervene here in south jersey. >> people are so crazy. you try to help people and this is the stuff happens. >> reporter: mary and her neighbors saw the incident a domestic dispute unfolding across the road from their app complex on route 40 in hamilton township. mary watched in horror as a good samaritan stopped his car and tried to help. >> nonchalant walked over, i don't know if he said something to the gentleman, but he didn't move his hands or anything. the guy whopped him and he went down like a soldier. >> the guy dropped. i mean he didn't crumple to his knees he just went backwards like that. >> reporter: witnesses say the

samaritan was punched and then smack his head on the pavement and didn't move. they called 911. police arrested the man identified as 24-year-old calvin wiggins. he is charged with aggravated assault and possession of marijuana. other witnesses say it's risking getting involved in a situation like this one. >> just call 911. try and be a hero, stuff happens. >> you see stuff like that you want to help, but sometimes it's better off because this guy was screaming crazy stuff out there. you never know if he had a gun. you don't know. >> reporter: that victim the good samaritan is in critical condition in the trauma unit at atlantic city medical center. police have not yet released his identity. in hamilton township, i'm joanne pileggi, fox 29 news. that's ridiculous. houston is proving its strong once again. astros fans show some great team work to help one of their own during the parade. take look at it and we'll tell you what's going oncoming up next.

two new jersey high school refs ernie and his son walked off the field in protest at a football game recently after three players from the home team took a knee during the national anthem. he says after he not in favor but anyone disrespecting our country, flag or national anth anthem. i'm against it so i decided to protest for them kneeling. the problem with all of this it was planned. so the 54-year-old wasn't really protesting anything. rather he wanted attention. he got it. the business owner knew the players might take knee and his decision to walk away put the players at risk. what the athletes did they constitutionally protected act header you agree witness or not. the refs forced the action already had a lawyer and had told the schools about an hour before the anthem that he would walk. so he accepted the assignment but chose to walk. bottom line he shouldn't be a loud to ref any more games period because they left the game. they had to be played with the refs in training. so a few days ago some racist

different results so i'm not necessarily shocked. but i feel like with a company and program like make a choice they're getting the word out that so people can say, hey, i can come, i can have a good time, and i'm an equal opportunity trainer. for me i don't care where you are on your fitness level. >> okay. >> i don't care where you are on your size, fit doesn't have a size it has a mentality and so if you go into the work out with the right mentality, results will eventually follow. >> i'm going to prove i'm not just talking that i do actually watch the videos and participate in the videos. everybody on their journey because you have the modifier in the video for people who can't necessarily keep up to the initial pace. everybody can do your workout. >> not everyone wants to jump. not everyone is at the same fit less nevell as far as getting in peak physical condition. i provide an alternative movement you don't have to jump. one of the tips out there when people -- people ask me sean why do you do so many swats and leg exercises and it's because your legs are the largest muscle groups which will get your heart rate up and help you burn the

point where i wanted to give up somebody like me who's, you know, really motivating people to want to go out there and live their best life and i even said, i was like becoming a new dad i'm going to have to road my own book because it's about to completely transform our lives. >> it's hard, isn't it. >> when you're the person who motivates everybody trying to continue to motivate yourself. >> yeah. one of the things that's extremely important and even with, you know, make a choice and why i'm here some people don't take time to give to give themselves in my book i talk about being selfish is actually super power. we wake up every day going out to want to motivate and inspire and make other people money, but where is that time that you give you for the day? so if you're afraid to work out which i know you are right now. >> no. talk and walk. >> yeah. if you're afraid to walk out. >> go to the demo area. >> i want people to look at working out giving yourself you time for the day. that's your time to be selfish and focus on you because people don't do it. i want you to do it. >> all right. >> all right. >> what we going to do. >> i got like two, three minute.
