misconduct came out about moore. he felt a responsibility to describe the veteran he knows. some of the accusers say moore was in the 30's when he but are but sood them. now, moore who is 70-year-old, denies all of the claims. in a statement, he made to mr's campaign last week is a martive he says is a testament to mr's character. when scaly and moore were in vet nam, a fellow soldier asked to meet them out. they thought it was for a beer but turns it was brothel. >> he was resolute. i mean, immediately, he said to me. i am leaving. you know? anyone who stays on their own, i am leaving. that is al i really had to hear where were reporter is telling the story for the first time in 45 years because so contrary to what is being reported. he thought that because he knew moore close to a time when some of the alleged incident owes cured it could provide contact. he was man of impeccable in teg ty at that time as i knew him.

a couple of state senators and one democrat saying we need to look at this and one republican senator saying if you really look at the clo colorado model you don't have the revenue projections that's the governor elect is talking about and crime actually has gone up hurring some of those. the law would be tinnedded to help. am joined by the senator in morris con. joe, welcome to "chasing news." how are you? >> thank fou for having me on bill. >> what struck me about the statement first. the governor elect has been spa sive bic the thing of social justice issue saying wee have to many black and la continue know 2:00 being imprisoned because marijuana is he'll legal. you say it is exactly the opposite. >> well, first of all, the people that are in prison here en prison for having marijuana. bill: another, what's the plan. i know ron rice is throughout on the democratic side saying no. you have it. are you going to stop it? >> well, the pest thing to is put a spotlight on this.

then, when it comes to revenue. the governor elect said $3 to to to 400 million. only 156 million in revenue. well lee, the thing. i think we would be miss k taken to leave the social justice impact out of this as if it is not a real thing. it is a real thing. there is a serious prosecution and sentencing disparity between minorities and white and different types of drugs. that is something that needs to be looked at because it impacts our society. well, but, i don't think that we should be looking at this as something that needs to be fixed as fast as possible because i think that is where problems will hap pep. we should look at data. we should look. we should look at economics? himself why do you think so many leave out the data, though. if you look at colorado. look you got increase. main a jump and br black and la continue know you have seen arrest. these are 2016 numbers and i seatps that is left out. well, i think, you are right. it should be part of of the discussion. i don't know that is necessarying ament for voing against the organization of marijuana but should be considered as one of many
