>> looking good. >> ♪ all right. it is game day. saturday, january 13th, 2018. it's an exciting day in philadelphia. >> absolutely. we are ready to go. ready to win. >> i know. so let's talk weather first because a lot of people are head down to the linc to tailgate go to xfinity life or they will actually be inside the linc to see the game. now, last week we thought it was going to be a little warm. so the cold couldn't really affect the falcons because they're dome team. >> um-hmm. >> it's going to be a little chillier and temperatures dropping quickly. >> absolutely. lauren, we'll freeze out the falcons. >> ut-oh. >> yesterday it was warm it felt like april with high temperatures in the 60s. but right now, that arctic front is moving through. now, the precipitation it's moving out but those temperatures they are dropping pretty rapidly. we have some areas of leftover drizzle there might be some freezing drizzle far north and west but look at the air temperatures right now.

16 degrees mount pocono. allentown checking in at 29 degrees. 32 freezing already in pottsto pottstown. philadelphia right now 42 degrees. we have 38 in wilmington. 30 degrees below freezing lancaster also 30 in redding those are the air temperatures. now what about the feels like temperatures. the wind chill. it feels like 1 degree below zero mount pocono right now. incredible it feels like the teens for lancaster, reading and allentown it feel like 33 degrees already in philadelphia. so the bottom line, early drizzle, plunging temperatures. back to freezing today. some locations withstanding water. black ice could develop in spots. and what about the eagles game? dress for feels like temperatu temperatures in the teens. let's get to the bottom line here. drying out for tailgators. temperatures in the 30s. first kick, lauren, 30 degrees and by the end of the game temperatures in the 20s with wind chills by the end of the game ten to 15 degrees.

>> oh, this could be bad for both teams. cold weather is tough. scott, thank you so much. the wait is over. it's the battle of the birds. the eagles take on the atlanta falcons today right here in philadelphia. and it looks like nick foles is hitting his stride just in time to qb got major but simple message from coach doug peders pederson, just be nick. at practice this week nick's teammates say he look more comfortable, and a lot more confident. the moment will arrive in just hours and this game has everyone talking. which bird will soar in south philadelphia today? sabina kuriakose is live at the linc. sabina, any tailgators out at this hour? i know it's a little early. >> reporter: it's still a little bit early. we have had some workers coming in but right now the tailgating lots we're told only open around 9:30 this morning. let's talk a little bit about the weather, of course, little bit more about the weather because i wanted to mention lauren you can see i put my hair up because this wind is just gusting right now that's also going to be a factor along with

these plummeting temperatures and i want to show you right who are as we're standing obviously this more than likely here at the linc is going to be cleaned up. you can see this is standing water right now and the concern is that that that's going to be on the roads a little bit later today. hopefully some of the wind helps evaporate some of that water but that's going to be more of a concern when people are heading back. all right. so back out here. the linc obviously very quite right now. nothing like what it's going to be later today. let's go to some video to show i was little bit more of, of course, what we can expect when the fans actually get out here today. again those tailgating lots opening at 9:30. now, all week, we have been ta talking about the home game advantage. home team advantage and that need for eagles fans to cheer as loud as they can. bring their game voice. so we had head coach doug pederson talking about exactly what all of that will mean for the team here. here he is reinforcing the message you got to cheer today.

loudly. >> we want teams to come into our stadium and to feel -- to feel our fans and to feel the excitement and the to feel the noise and to feel everything about philadelphia. you know, i've been a visiting player coming into this stadium in a playoff type atmosphere, and it's tough to play because our fans are loud from the opening kickoff till the last whistle. >> reporter: opening kickoff till last whistle. you have to bring your game voice and cheer as loudly as possible. so some of the things he was saying that could affect, of course, communication, game delays, time outs he said the lot loudest time to cheer is when the falcons offense is in their huddle. we don't want the players hearing what their quarterback is saying. so bring your game voice. bundle up, again, kickoff at 4:30 today and lauren of course it will be much different atmosphere than it is this early in the morning. back to you. >> i know. it's quiet as it will be at the

linc today. sabina, thank you very much. let's get to news and get back to eagles breaking news out of trenton new jersey. one person is dead. three others hurt after an overnight fire. flames started around 2:30 this morning in the 200 block of cast street. the firefighter was also hurt battling the blaze but already been treated and released from the hospital. no word yet on what caused that fire. in west philadelphia 25-year-old man fighting for his life after someone shot him in the neck late last night. this happened near north 43rd and brown streets. police say the man was rushed to tress presbyterian hospital. he's in critical condition. the shooter still on the run this morning. in delran new jersey a man thrown from his home in gas line exploded last night on cornell drive. incredibly he is okay. paramedics say it's a miracle that the 50 year old was not killed water electric and gas workers were on scene to shut everything down and make sure the scene was safe for crews to repair that problem. now to developing story out

of southern california. high school friend arrested for the murder of a university of pennsylvania student. sheriffs deputies arrest 20-year-old sam woodward. investigators say he was the last person to see blaze bernstein alive. bernstein's body was found this week while he was home on winter break. authorities say the 19-year-old went missing on january 2nd. they believe woodward killed him and buried him near that park. what will the me too movement mean for bill cosby? apparently, the comedian is concerned about his new trial in april. last june, juror cos not agree if a woman' stories about cosby sexual al assaulting over decade ago was true. sources say casby believes the current cultural climate with all the hollywood allegations will influence his case. cosby told a reporter "please don't put on -- me on me too". outrage growing on capitol hill over president donald trump alleged vulgar remarks about a number of nations. the president maintains he never

man, scott says it's going to get chilly outside down at the linc today. >> absolutely. maybe we can have some chili a little later on, because temperatures they are dropping early drizzle out there, but forget about the 60s that we observed yesterday across the area. back to freezing temperatures today. some of that standing water could refreeze. black ice could develop in spots later on today. watch out for that. but here's the deal. for the eagles game, wind chills will be in the teens. as we look at ultimate doppler a lot of the precipitation coming to an end. there will be leftover drizzle later on but once again most of that moisture lifting on out to the north and east. but look at the temperatures. with those winds out of the north and west, gusting at times up to 30 miles per hour, those temperatures will be dropping as the cold air continues to kind of rush in during the day. so temperatures will be dropping into the 30s and the 20s by the game. as far as the current wind chill, what it actually feels

like right now mount pocono look at this. feels like 4 degrees below zero. temperatures in the poconos yesterday were flirting with 60 degrees. allentown had a high of 65 degrees yesterday right now feels like 15 degrees in the lehigh valley it feels like 33 degrees currently in philadelphia. so future wind chills yesterday's high philadelphia was 64 degrees. by 8am this morning it will feel like 27 degrees. by noon it will feel like 21 and what about by 5:00 o'clock it will feel like 17 degrees. so in fact look at future wind chills. by 1:00 o'clock it will feel like 21 degrees in philadelphia. 19 what it will feel like in trenton and as we continue hour by hour, by 6:00 o'clock tonight, this is how you should dress. dress for feeling like 12 degrees in philadelphia. 10:00 o'clock tonight, feeling like 8 degrees and then by tomorrow, morning 7am feeling like 3 degrees in philadelphia. hour by hour you can see by noon it feels like 30 and temperatures continue to drop.

candidates to publicly disclose the results of a thorough medical examination both physical and mental prior to an election. it comes in the wake of comments from who else, president trump who recently proclaimed himself both stable and a genius when both of these diagnoses were call into question. boyle has made clear he considers the president neither stable nor genius and that's his right. plenty of people can reasonably ask whether announcing via twitter that you are both mentally stable and intellectu intellectually superior suggests there might be a few problems in both areas. it's perfectly reasonable to call for more transparency rather than less when discussing the physical and mental health of the person who will be sitting next to the nuclear launch codes. but here's the thing. the stable genius act introducing with fair am of isn't that correct by a relati relatively junior democrat in a republican controlled congress

expecting this. >> that's going to be a big factor. one, because like you said the falcons are a dome team. they're not used to, you know, the wind and how the wind is really gusty today and then it's cold out. they're coming from where it's predominantly warm. so when they come out here they got to be -- they got to expect the cold and got to, you know, account for the wind and how windy it's going to be today as well. >> you played the eagles here during the regular season came home. the fans, they're loud. they're cruel. they're dirty. >> the fans, they're -- there's no fans like philadelphia fans, you know, um, when you're up they're right there with you. when you're down some go through it with you. so they turn on you but overall man philadelphia is a great city for sports and, you know, i know they're going to come out. i know they're going to be loud and i know they're going to be pushing the eagles on. >> let's talk quarterbacks. i know you said you're behind
