herbal remedies. friends say they don't know why anyone would want to harm someone who helped so many. the homicide stuns many. >> she's know nice. >> reporter: this man was a young patient of the doctor. >> she's a good doctor. i trust her. i really trust her. >> reporter: police say auh was found friday afternoon tied up in the bathroom and stabbed in the room on little river road. the investigation also may have gotten to a slow start as police deployed both spanish and korean-speaking officers to help in the situation. >> has it been a challenge? yes. it's always a challenge. we want to make sure that we get the proper information. in this case, it's merely

slowed us down. >> reporter: friends say chung auh would often help people even if they didn't have the money to pay her. they are hoping she did not suffer herself. >> some senior people, they don't have that much money. she helped a lot. i don't understand what's going on. i really don't understand why something happened here. >> reporter: police do not have any suspect information to give us but they do say they are following several leads. police have been talking with patients and those who had appointments with the victims. if you at home know anything about this case, police want to talk to you. bruce? >> thank you surae. all of the parties have agreed to meet at white house for fence mending and maybe a beer. the president, the arresting officer and the harvard university professor taken into custody at his home say it's time to move on.

here's more on whether there has been lasting damage. >> reporter: it appears a meeting will happen between president obama, a white police officer in massachusetts and the black man he arrested. henry gates said he would accept the president's offer to meet over a beer at the white house. the e-mail also says it's time to move on and to assess what we can learn from this experience. president obama took the unusual step of barn stool diplomacy. he said the cambridge police department acted stupidly. >> i think the president should make an apology for all law enforcement personnel. >> reporter: instead, the personnel personally called them. >> my sense is you have two people in a circumstance in which neither of them were able to resolve the incident in the way it should have been

says would harm local businesses. deeds said it would protect the right of workers to vote secretly to unionize workplaces. metro says the operator who opened the train door is on paid leave. they say the operator took a drug and alcohol test after metro was informed about the incident. that incident happened thursday on the greenline at the waterfront station. this is the third time this year this has happened. no injuries so far. protesters around the world are calling on iran to end the clamp down on "operation act visits." they have planned protests in more than 80 cities, including here in washington. the demonstrators want iranian authorities detained. iranian police and detained
