here's the weather setup. we've got a disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere traveling by to our west. a weak surface reflection there. but it's enough when you have a southeast wind to cause that rotation in the atmosphere and then you get the storms rotating, especially the ones off on their own like this one near fredericksburg right now. when they get into a cluster like what's happening over on the eastern shore, it's less likely that you're going to see the rotation so keep that in mind. 85 degrees at the top of the hour. dew point 68 so it's muggy. other temperatures generally in the 80s. 75 in culpepper where they had some rain but 84 at the top of the hour at bwi. slight chance for a thunderstorm tomorrow. best chance for rain the rest of the week will come in on friday. and then again late in the day on sunday. temperatures will stay about the same, upper 80s to around 90 before it cools off a little bit during the beginning of next week. we'll keep an eye on that storm around the fredericksburg area.

the storm they ha is t tghw,gunos hehiy rehat's ght rino this guy here going through the stafford area. a few minutes ago the weather service put out a statement saying it lost the signature of rotation on the radar. doppler radar can look inside of a storm and see which way the air is moving and we don't see the rotation inside the storm any ghlonger but still it could produce wind gusts over 40 or 50 miles per hour around garrisonville area, heading up towards quantico and marbury. this is moving to the northeast at a pretty good clip at almost 30 miles per hour. other storms coming across the northern neck of virginia, this one getting ready to cross over the water into southern maryland has been showing signs of rotation so keep an eye on that one. some other storms that may produce some severe weather, the one just north of leonardtown, but at this time there are no warnings in effect. and basically stt lighlirain tarndou socity, nd wetyl keep an eyon th . most of you enjoying a fairly
