[ applause ] >> reporter: problem -- president obama seems willing to abandon the government-run health care system. >> let's look at the whole picture. you guys are stealing from us. >> reporter: sunday the obama administration signaled it is now open to a nonprofit health insurance cooperative that would provide competition in the marketplace. >> that's really the essential part. you don't turn over the entire marketplace to private insurance companies and trust them to do the right thing. we need choices and competition. >> reporter: the co-op would get off the ground with the help of government money but then would operate independently, membership run and controlled.

show this weekend. two russian air force jets collided near moscow killing one stunt pilot and sending another crashing into nearby vacation homes. all three pilots ejected from their planes. two were recovered in satisfactory condition but the third pilot was killed. one woman on the ground was seriously injured and four others were hurt. the pilots were all part of an elite flying group preparing for russia's biggest air show. in colorado a small plane flipped over as it was coming in for a landing at centennial airport this morning. fortunately the pilot wasn't injured but the plane was damaged. a crane was brought in to flip the plane back on its wheels. no word tonight on why that accident happened. a lucky gam gambler surviving a fall. he fell 30 feet threw metal
