plane and brought off at least five hijacking suspects. those men now being described as bolivians who wanted to speak with the mexican president. no word yet of any bombs or weapons found on board that plane and as we already said, fortunately, nobody hurt today, but there are a lot of unanswered questions at this point and when we know more, we'll tell you more. lesli. thanks for that. there are more details tonight from the scene of a murder. the clues have not led investigators to a suspect. the assault happened in castle boulevard last night. that's where scott broome joins us now with the story. scott. >> police have identified the victim this afternoon. they identified her as 37-year- old samone white. she died about 12:30 last night as she walked from here in the parking lot across a pedestrian foot bridge trying to get to the front door of her

apartment. the call came in to 911 at 12:27 a.m. two gun shots and a woman's body on an apartment complex walkway. >> i hadn't put my bag down. >> sylvia said it happened seconds after she walked inside. >> two shots. >> she saw nothing. >> i didn't see anything unusual. i usually come home around that time. > to think that somebody was probably just hiding in the bushes waiting is very scary. >> reporter: 37-year-old victim was found lying face down on this pedestrian bridge into her apartment building. she had been shot twice in the upper body and died here. she still had her car keys and her belongings, including a laptop computer in a carrying case. it was untouched, there was nothing missing. investigators towed her car, a silver malibu. montgomery county police made no arrests and they are asking for witnesses to come forward. >> i don't think i want to be

and while that is down from last year, it is still significantly higher than similar programs in most big cities. almost 20,000 young people took part in the program this year. that's more than all the other large american cities across the country, except new york. but some critics say it is just too expensive for a city dealing with a budget deficit. adrian fenty says this program is valuable because it keeps young people off the streets and out of trouble. we have new details about delaware's new sports betting lottery. it is the first of its kind on the east coast. betters will be asked to pick the correct outcomes of three national football league games. it's what is commonly known as a parlay. they will have a minimum of $2 and a maximum of $3,000. delaware can only offer parlay bets on the nfl instead of wagers on all pro and college sports. meanwhile, bets are still off on whether slot machines will become a reality in

maryland. baltimore is rolling out the welcome mat. approve zoning for a casino. residents are expected to pack a hearing, saying it is a bad fit for the family oriented mall. inappropriate conduct with a teenager, she was supposed to be councilling. a grand jury indicted 36-year- old jennifer brennan yesterday. seray chin has more on the youth minister now on unpaid leave from the church. >> reporter: revealed disturbing allegations of one of lltheieiown. according to court documents. jennifer brennan is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy. this picture was posted on facebook, identifying her as a youth director. a grand jury indicted her on ten counts of indecent liberties and ten counts of

contributing to a minor. if it weren't for the reverend, detectives may not have known about this case. >> i am mandated to report allegations of any improper conduct or anything that harms a child or youth. once we knew that there were allegations, we reported immediately to the sheriff's department and to the child protective services. >> reverend says brennan was well liked at the church. her neighbors meanwhile are in disbelief of the 20 count indictment against her. >> i am shocked to hear that anybody would say anything against her, because she seems to be very nice. >> the alleged incidents happened between january 24 and march 30 of this year. brennan was aced on unpaid administrative leave since mid july when the reverend was alerted of allegations. she told her church members and are trying to move forward

we've heard the reports, read the articles that credit card companies would tighten limits, once new credit card legislation was passed. but u.s. news and world report says it is just the opposite. now is the time to take advantage of some of these new rewards. kim, thanks for coming in. we've talked about this for a while. we thought this was going to happen. you say credit card companies are changing the way they do things? >> the rest of the card legislation are making changes that in some cases are beneficial to people trying to pay off their debt. we are seeing new programs right now that customers can take advantage of. >> let's talk about some of those. these card companies want our business. >> they do. and they are really targeting, they have people in mind who are trying to pay off their balance to make on time payments, to build up their

credit score, but are having trouble. we have seen a few card companies, including city bank that provide incentives that give you rewards. they lower your interest rate or give you cash back if you make on time payments. >> what if you can't do chunks of payments. what if you need to do small payments. can you still get the incentives? >> you have to be careful. if you are carrying a big balance, there's one thing you should be concerned about. you should forget these programs if you are on the border line of being able to pay every month or being able to make more than your minimum payment. you need to find a card with as low of an interest rate as possible. >> what's in the end the biggest take away? >> it's that credit cards, there's no one size fits all at all. there's a better card depending on your situation. when you are shopping around for a credit card, you need to do your research, go to a website and make sure you have the one that makes the most

now investigating the incident. in the video, he showed the student some moves, but the black belt is much more skilled and over powers the man, stomping on his head twice. >> i get a sick feeling in my stomach. somebody should have came forward and said something about this. >> bleeding victim is dragged away. the victim is being drug out the back door, which would have been right about here. now police don't think he died because they checked area coroner's records from that time period and found no matching description of an unidentified deceased person. and recently, another person has come forward to say he too was invited to the jojo to display his fighting style and ended up in the hospital. >> there are more victims in there that were brought in and assaulted and what we are looking for is the public to come forward with that to help

well. scientists have long debated how safe this is when how close to this for hours. cell phone radiation, it's the subject of a new guide released today by the environmental working group that lets you know where your cell phone ranks. >> cell phones emit radiation when you talk, that radiation penetrates into your brain and some recent studies are showing there may be some risks. brain and salivary tumors are the big question now. >> jane says even though the science isn't settled, it raises enough concern to inform consumers now. the ewg launched a ten month analysis of more than 200 studies and industry documents. she says the most recent research on long-term cell phone use has prompted six other countries to issue warnings. especially when it comes to kids. >> i'm playing with my buddy. >> children in particular are susceptible to cell phone radiation. their skulls are much thinner.
