like it, you take it back, right? general motors is allowing their customers to do the same thing with their vehicles. a lot of people are wondering, is this too good to be true? digital correspondent, lindsay with a look at the fine print. >> reporter: listen to this. if you're not 100% happy, return it. >> reporter: they are letting customers return their vehicles up to 60 days later. there are some stipulations. you couldn't have driven it more than 4,000 miles, and as the old saying goes, if you break it, you buy it, if you get in a wreck, you can't take it back. >> most of the customers are not choosing to take the 60-day return policy. >> they say that if you want the 60 day option, you'll be giving up the $500 cash incentive. >> once they drive the car, nine times out of ten, we've noticed that they fall in love with it right away. >> if you do decide to return

well, if you're thinking about enrolling in a community college, it's a sure bet as far as getting the courses you need, think again. a perfect storm of circumstances putting the squeeze on community colleges and as digital correspondent, peggy fox reports, students are the ones getting caught in the middle. >> the minute that your body gets from here to there, your body says, guess what cerebellum? >> in biology 101, it's completely filled. >> you need to wait to get into

the class. >> reporter: it's become a race to get in to many core classes at northern virginia community college. because of the economy, people are flocking to less expensive community colleges. here out here, enrollment is up 11% this year. >> i wanted to get into the radiology program. but you need to take that and only two classes only in the fall time. it took me probably like a year to just get into that class. >> and i tell them, i'm sorry, there's nothing i could do, it's out of my hands. >> reporter: now the state is cutting 13% from nova. that's about a $9 million hit. president robert says that it is the forth cut in three years. >> it'll take students longer to graduate instead of graduating in two years, it may take three. instead of being able to get into that first program choice, you mite have to wait -- might have to wait to get into your second or third. >> reporter: to continue to offer the increasing number of courses they need, the president says it's very likely that tuition will have to go up and it may begin with the small increase by the spring semester. >> reporter: a year of tuition

off here where they just reduced all of them rent by 10%. but not much to celebrate because the motivation for the cuts, the fact that the walls, they are so thin. and they could hear the guy next door. and they are using the bathroom, yeah, that's right. they say that the sound is quite clear, distinctive and quite irritating. the couple said, "it's not just the noise but the fact that you know exactly what that noise is." they are making it pretty tough to live with. with a 10% rent cut, could that make it okay? i'm thinking no.

drill. so who is to blame while our good friend, john, says who else, the immediate kra. boo, to cfn, no breaking new -- cnn, no breaking news. they have been out there four days a week for years. then have them hide behind the rhetoric of their apparent role of public safety to notify the public, pwoápbg. that's the job of the department of homeland security to determine what's real and what's not. and then pass it on to the media. but they say don't kill the messenger. the media was not at fault unless they have received notice of the training in advance. cnn claims they called the coast guard and did not get a response. personally, i think that friday could have been a good day for the coast guard to have taken off and not conducted a drill. i know now that there are trainings on the river every day and i should just assume that any activity i see on the river is a drill. well, you know, i hesitate to hand out blame to anyone, but i'll tell you what happened here on wusa channel 9. we heared about the breaking news on our scanner just like everyone else did and naturally
