goudi might have done if they hadn't find his arsenal. at u.s. district court in green belt, bruce leshan, 9news now and wusa9.com. and more political fallout for the community group known as acorn. ever since that sting operation that caught employees on tape giving advice to folks they thought were a prostitute company are cutting ties. the irs is joining the list saying it will no longer include acorn in its volunteer tax programs. they provided help this past year on 25,000 tax returns. a man busted for selling drugs to kids right next to a high school. the 18 year old is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. turns out he is a recent graduate. he allegedly sold to some of his former classmates. police say he deals to students during the open lunch period at a nearby shopping center. he is being held on $50,000 bond. the union representing

metro train operators says its members are becoming scape goats for metro's fatal train accident. president of the local that represents 10,000 metro workers says top level metro officials have never been held accountable for correcting the system's deficiencies. >> i can't hold mr. kato accountable for all of the problems that and aging system has. that's not what we want to do. but it is how you react to those problems. >> she says metro has ignored the union's safety recommendations an today she said the system ought to remain in manual mode until the actual cause of last june's fatal crash can be determined. the trains we are told will continue to operate in manual mode. fairfax county police have charged two men with last year's murder of a virginia

an etiquette expert is joining us. we really need you badly or maybe we don't at all. maybe no one is listening. >> i think the reason is we are shaking our finger at people when the truth is we are all rude so how do we respond to rudeness which just occurs? >> what's the right response? >> well, take the clip. how could that reporter had handled it differently. i'm thinking, derek, you would have turned to the person and engaged them and said, okay, what would you like to say about that? >> he did do that and she expressed how angry she was that he was interrupting the program with no sympathy that the guy was doing his job. >> exactly right. he should have come back a second time and engaged her more. >> reporter: what if he apologized and said i'm sorry that we are in your way, we are really just trying to work here. do you think that would have helped?

>> i think so. we have seen examples of people behaving badly. joe wilson, the congressman and kanye west. are we ruder or have the rules changed? >> i think the rules are changed. there are no rules. we are not really sure how to navigate the the new landscape. >> it is more are chaotic than it has ever been? >> i think it is and i think media is out there imploding on us 24/7 so we see more bad behavior because of that. >> how about the role of the internet. when you have the ability to criticize anonymously you are much more nasty than you would be. i get e-mails from people and they realize a real person is on the end they tend to calm down. >> it is how you handle it. that's another great example. you're handling it great. >> what do you see being passed on to our kids then who grew up with the internet an anonymous criticism and so forth. >> exactly. this is where we really got homework to do because you have to understand there is

a wave of foreclosures that rocked prince william county left a mess of eye sores. some 8000 property owners including banks have been forced to fix up homes and clean up yards but some citizens say the county has to step in to stop the more serious violators. here is peggy fox. >> reporter: the roof is falling in and bushes so overgrown you can barely get to the door of this dale city home. no one lives here except wild

animals. >> rats were crawling over there. we see a lot of snakes and a lot of mosquitoes. >> next thing you will have squatters living there and it is not going to be a nice neighborhood. >> reporter: neighbors say the home which includes a backyard pool that hasn't been used for decades is a hazard. they want the county to fix it up or tear it down. >> it's been sitting like that for 20 years. nobody has lived there. so 20 years, then what? when the house does fall down or somebody does get hurt, is that when you're going to take control. >> reporter: the county can't take somebody's process without due process and they say it is not a danger yet. we finally did get in contact with the owner on this and got cooperation in hopes we will get some voluntary compliance. >> reporter: the neighborhood services division has been plastering this letter on homes with violations. it threatens to take them to court and fine them if the problems aren't corrected. >> people don't like the legal look of that notice. and once they see that

in the mail bag tonight. tanning beds. there is a proposal out in howard county to ban anyone from using them under age 18. should those beds be outlawed for everybody? john says he hopes it hasn't gotten that bad yet. please, do publish information about health issues so that i can make rational decisions about my only health but i don't want the government regulating my decisions about my health. where does it stop? on the other hand, if the government would make serious efforts to regulate the unhealthy processing and additives that go into our food maybe we should let them try to regulate stupidity. another john from fredericksburg is on your side.
