>> well, we start this season -- at the end of last year my character had a brain tumor. so at the beginning of this season she's been in a coma, and the family -- they are both out of work. actually you'll see a synopsis at the beginning of this episode of the end of last year. so 2 you missed that don't worry you can catch up on it. >> let's let our viewers know that this woman has extraordinary talent. she's able to talk to the dead. she has visions of dead people and she works with the police department. >> exactly. and then we have this great marriage, which is really the lynch pin of the show. this beautiful marriage, this family, and that's the light aspect of the show because you have this dark aspect with the crime and trying to solve crimes and the things human beings can do to one another but the great thing about the

show is she is a psychic and much of her information comes from dreams. we have a lot of latitude of what we can explore on our show. like we are working on a halloween episode right now. with her crime and the dreams and the kids getting ready for halloween you go in to the "night of the living dead movie "in the ' 60s. >> jake, i don't want to leave you out. are you excited about the upcoming season? >> oh, i absolutely am. it is nice to keep going. we all have families. it is very unusual for a show to be on the air for 100 episodes now. cable there's sop so much competition. we have been up and down and all around and now we are part of cbs and we are happy to be here. >> we have run out ofwe will lo night.
