fully tested as of yet and they don't want to be human guinea pigs. they have until november 30 to get the vaccine or risk termination. >> the the u.s. nasal academy is quarantining them with the flu-like symptoms, designed to slow the spread of the h1n1 virus in annapolis. 170 mid shipments have been isolated. only 70 of them had confirmed cases of swine flu. the naval academy is just one of the local academies dealing with the h1n1 cases. they report 31 cases tonight. most of the other schools are just reporting the cases as opposed to the h1n1 cases. they tell us that there are 756 reported cases. georgetown, they have 320. george mason, 30. and howard university, they have five reports of the flu. we did make a call to them, but we have not heard back. coal is the dirty activist, they called for cleaner energy sources. they point to the plant in

alexandria as a leading polluter. critics blame the coal strip mining for the destruction of appalachian mountain tops. >> they were blowing up the mountains for them, blowing up the mountains of virginia and just pushing the debris into the streams destroying the clean waters that people depend on. >> reporter: and again, the local environmentists, they are are on a push for cleaner renewable energy sources. one example that they gave is wind power off the coast of virginia. virginia's democratic candidate, picked up an endorsement today from the former republican governor. they have backed up a number of democrats in recent years, including president obama. for instance, supporters of them, gathered at the metro this morning to hear the announcement and more about a key issue. >> transportation, that is a statewide problem. and they are mostly out there or acute for northern virginia where they spend an hour and a half for them and anybody until the state and at ham ton roads -- hampton roads where everything is out there and just
