in the mail bag tonight, the early season tragedy that is our washington redskins. we found one frustrated fan, actually selling his fanship, we think he made that word up, on ebay. tonight, ross from woodbridge wants to jump ship as well. the fanship i'm selling comes with a coach included at no extra charge. that's a pretty common sentiment there, ross, but susan from ash burn says you are aiming just a bit too low. we can impeach a president, can we impeach a team owner? here lies the problem. susan, here is also the problem.
7:26 pm
as problematic as the coach and owner might be, are they the ones not making tackles and dropping passes? i don't think so. pete from maryland says the problems are out on the field. i don't know why the team hasn't looked at bringing in younger players, too many of the current players look like they are on their last leg or don't have too much to give to begin with. if you look at their schedule the rest of the way, the redskins are on a losing streak of their own. the redskins are not that good as a team. well, exactly. after several seasons of having our hopes and dreams dashed over and over again, have we skins fans reached that awful zone, currently mostly populated by raider fans? where we hope not to be too awful? well if so, sue in resten says you are weak. i'm a long time cowboy fan and i'm amazed at how disloyal the redskins fans are when they are not winning. our job is to support the franchise and the players and our hometown.
7:27 pm
i always stood by the cowboys no matter what. step up and be a true fan. okay susan, you have a good point and that is hard to say. but let me ask you a question, you live here, so you have been a cowboy fan from a distance. if you were in dallas and up and close with the season ticket lawsuits and the free agents and the years of performances, would you still buy a really expensive ticket to that fancy new stadium? i'm just asking. i'm also asking for some e- mails. the address, mailbag@wusa9.com. see you at 11:00. bye bye. just as we promise 100% fresh produce...
