in april, the government said 1,000 barrel day were spilling in the gulf. according to scientific estimates it was closer to 5,000-barrels a day. the report says administration officials would not allow scientists to report the higher number. white house officials have disputing the findings in the report an say it never prevent the information from being reported. four tornadoes have been confirmed in arizona. two of them touched down. the storms damaged dozens of homes and caused 28 cars of a parked freight train to derail. the bad weather also damaged a business in belmont. wall street is about to get the latest snapshot of consumer spending habits. and more and more women are earning some big bucks. 9 news now will be right back. stay with us.
