desk, the suspect came back and spoke to the woman. he fled again with campus security chasing him. >> when they spotted the suspect, they pursued him and actually pursued him through another building and he got in to a car and left but they were able to capture a description of the vehicle and a license plate which they provided to takoma park police. >> reporter: we also know police have dna of the suspect and we hear they have video surveillance of the suspect. they have a person of interest in custody, but no charges have been filed at this time. reporting live in takoma park, peggy fox, 9 news now. >> thank you. police say alcohol and speed led to a fiery crash this morning after two women tried to flee from police. the car ended up in the front yard of a group home at the intersection of east-west highway and route 1 in riverdale. the car took down poles, traffic signs and knocked out a fire hydrant. both women were thrown from the car as it went up in flames. >> i'd say the screech lasted about three seconds followed by

a really intense banging. you could hear glass shattering, as well as crumpling noise. >> reporter: and that is what the car looked like after it was all over being towed from the scene. both women are still in critical condition tonight. police are following up on a report of a suspicious car. they were never able to talk to the driver before she took off leading to that chase. the driver of a motorcycle who lost control of his bike and crashed in college park this morning has died. the accident happened in the 9500 block of baltimore avenue around 10:45. the prince georges county police investigation is still ongoing but officers think the driver clipped the curb and was thrown from his bike. two drivers are lucky to be okay after an accident on the set of transformers 3, the movie. a fan caught the whole thing on tape this afternoon in dc. it happened during a chase scene with a famous yellow camaro bumblebee. a metropolitan police cruiser was responding to a call, cut

a commuter alert for drivers. work on the dulles metro rail. all four lanes of 95 northbound or the inleer loop will move to the left over 12. once drivers cross chain bridge road the lanes will shift back to the right and tie in with existing beltway traffic. the ramp from 123 north to 495 north will close starting tonight, as well. drivers will have to turn left at a turn signal to get on the inner loop. vdot says the changes will be in affect up to two years. let's look at the rest of the evening rush hour with patranya bhoolsuwan. >> a lot of people have the day off today, so that's lessens the amount of commute out there as well as accidents, but we
