than more expensive compared to other states. >> at the west hyattville metro stop in maryland where a mother was caught off guard. she pushed the stroller into the train. >> doors closing. >> the doors close. the train took off with the baby, leaving the mother on the platform. >> we were left here with this little infant baby in a stroller. >> people were aware of the situation, including myself, were absolutely traumatized. we could not believe what was happening. >> reporter: while on the train, witnesses say several people huddled around the strrl to protect the baby. during the several minutes it took from west hyattsville metro stop to fort totten, metro personnel waited with the baby until the mother took the next train over to be reunited with her infant. metro did not want to go on camera, but wants to remind people, when you see the flashing lights and the announcement the doors would be closing, to use your best judgment. >> now to long month plaza

metro station. police on the lookout for two men. they say they were filming inside the metro, and it was suspicious. >> reporter: metro says it has no reason to suspect the two were planning anything, for were they doing anything wrong. >> passengers snapped foe toes of these men, and shared it with authorities. that's what a metro spokesman says. according to the memo, the two videotaped the station's features last week, capturing how the trains operate. >> it's suspicious, makes people nervous. >> some say it makes them worry about worst case set their yotes. >> trying to set up an attack or a bomb or something or some way to about damage a train. >> metro says it could be a misunderstanding. if possible, the two didn't know they could freely videotape inside the metro. a virginia woman says she was denied service at a convenience store simply because she's muslim. this happened tuesday in fredericksburg. edie goncalves tells us what

happened next. >> i am an american muslim -- telisha visit she converted to muslim back in 2006 and wore traditional dress with no problem until she walked into this fast mart on salem church road on tuesday morning. >> i explained to her that i wear this for allah. she said, "you have to take it off for security and safety reasons." >> reporter: she removed the scarf and her hair lion, but that wasn't good enough. >> she wouldn't let me make a purchase. i was humiliated, violated and walked out of the store. >> reporter: we visited the store ourselves. >> she said she was refused service. while they weren't talking, their customers had plenty to say. >> very surprised. you think people would be that by now. >> they're being prejudiced. if it would have been probably any other race or culture it

wouldn't have happened. >> reporter: the mart a couple of miles away from her new home. her first trip here and her last. >> well, i am thinking of relocating. >> reporter: the center for american islamic relations is demanding an apology and calling for sense toughty and diversity training for all fast mart employees. julia goncalves, 9 news. we heard back from fast mart and a spokesperson says they apologize for the incident. the company has thrown out the store's previous policy of having customers remove hoodies and other headgear, and that particular cashier has been us suspended. veterans day came with a dose of anger and some worry at the national marine corps museum today. thousands of people paid a visit to the museum. for a lot of them the bullet holes in the atrium were a reminder somebody is still out there shooting at military buildings in northern virginia. >> i don't know why you would want to take away from that,
