off his wife's holiday gift? that is terrible. but this is a widespread event. this is one area the hampton roads area in southeastern parts of virginia that could still -- could still see a little bit this weekend. you know. it's not in the books yet but we have a coastal storm that is developing, and it looks like right now, we will be far enough off the coast not to affect us. this is a big difference in the last 24 hours. 34degrees. we have dropped 4 since just before 5:00. it feels like 29. at least the winds are light. we're not having the gusts at 25, 30 or 35. all right, satellite radar picture, still light snow up in the pittsburgh area. if you're traveling this weekend up in that area or further north -- if you're heading north of new york into new england and boston, the coastal storm -- i still believe it will still form. it is still going to trek northward. it is still going to affect new england and could be substantial amounts of snowfall. so, again, that would be probably be late into sunday, into monday. if you have plans to head up there, monitor their forecast

6:22 pm
sunshine tomorrow but here comes the coastal storm getting very close. now this is just one computer model. we use these to forecast. remember when you sit at the card table and play this gard card game mother nature is sitting there, too. and she always has the trump card. so where it will develop? how strong will it be? this is a thought and guidance. give or take a couple hundred miles and we're into snowfall, southeastern parts of virginia and the eastern shore. if it's really off course, we could be looking at significant snow. right now let's favor that model. the forecast drops from a 50- 50 chance yesterday to no chance at all. that's fabulous news. still looking at unseasonably cold numbers and refreezing tonight and tomorrow. again, still untreated surfaces and roadways out there in real spots so everybody slow down a little bit and keep bundled up. but at least that is great news right now. more tonight when the new models come out. we have to worry about the refreeze, too. >> absolutely. now we want to head back to dave owens at redskins park
