warning involving craig's list car deals. >> reporter: one of the first don't is don't take a big wad of cash with you and agree to meet somebody in a secluded spot at night. two of the robberies took place down here, down at the end of this dead end road. people coming here thinking they would get a good deal on a car and ending up at the wrong ends of a gun. it happened so often, craigslist has a big warning on its web site. three different times this month people saw a listing for a great deal on a car. they arranged to meet the reported sellers' in a fairfax county spot they did not know well. when they arrived with a wad of cash, two men came up, waved a gun and demanded the money. >> these scams happen all the time. people post things, places to

rent, things to buy, people to meet people. scams are going on everywhere all the time. you have to be very careful. >> reporter: the two victims in the first robbery turned over a bunch of money. police are not taking how much. but on september 25th and september 27th, the victims may have been able to escape. none of those victims are able to give a solid enough description for police to publicize. if the cops cannot track the suspects back through craigslist, the cases could be tough to crack. police say it's okay to use craigslist but keep your wits about you. meet in a public spot, 7 he levven, shopping center. try to meet during the day with better visibility and more people around. and if the price sounds too good to be true, be suspicious. try not to go alone. if you are dealing with

a florida elementary school. this is from a police dashboard camera during drop off. a 6-year-old's leg was wedged in the engine compartment. the first responder lifted the car and freed the boy. he is expected to make a full recovery. a bile board in georgia is prompting lots of calls to 911. the advertisement for out book's wood fired stakes is smoking and has people calling because they think there is a fire. they dispatch fire trucks to investigate the smoke that was not a big deal. a real incident involving a japanese passenger plane is sending shock waves through the aviation industry. this animation shows when the plane reportedly nose dived 6,000 feet in 30 seconds and

child and there was no more love for her. the jury will have a hard time ignoring those words. >> the jury in the murder trial of carmelo de la rosa have seen graphic evidence of her crime including the video surveillance that shows her throwing her granddaughter off a 45-foot high walkway. the 25-year-old parents sobbed on the witness stand recounting the horrific incident and they saw the videotaped interview with her hours after the incident. she is calm and coherent as she acknowledges what she did and shows no remorse. she said she never liked her son-in-law because he got her 19-year-old daughter pregnant and thinks she threw the baby off the bridge to hurt him. she is pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. testimony about her mental illness and suicide attempts came from several doctors. one says her major depression could have easily clouded her judgment. >> can someone with severe

it's been nine months since the university of florida and ralph went their separate way but he still holds a grudge. he lashed out at his alma mater and former employer for the way they handled his dismissal. the terps went 74-50. he was named coach of the year in 2010 but that didn't matter with a year left on his contract he was bought out and said bier bye in december. in -- said bayh in december. in an interview, he didn't hold back. >> i burned my diploma. they take about maryland pride, they didn't show me maryland pride. the redskins are another team looking to bounce back with a big win but it may not be as he see as it looks. st. louis has yet to win a game but the rams have been trouble

for the redskins in recent years. they won three of the last four matchups. maybe a change will do the redskins good. i was surprised to see chris cooley lined up at fullback against dallas. it seemed to pay off. four catches, 41 yards and proved to be a good blocker but we have seen fullback mike sellers line up as tight end. mike shanahan looks having guys he can move around a bit. >> that's why we have took a guy like mike and worked him in the tight end position and the fullback position and chris even though he has worked the tight end position. a lot of the assignments with that position with the motions are the same as the fullback. he adjusted to that well. >> we have our high school game tonight, norwood versus blair. big match-up. >> they are playing today instead of this weekend. that's it for us now. >> that's right. the "cbs evening news" is next and derek is back at 7:00. have a great weekend.
