in the mail bag tonight, continuing rage on the wusa9 facebook facebook page over the murder of william mcquain and his mom. most is directed at the suspect, curtis lopez, still awaiting extradition from north carolina back up here to maryland. this lack of human being should get worse treatment than he gave the little boy and his mother. i'm so sad this happened to innocent people. i don't think maryland is a death penalty state, but i don't think death would do this justice. well actually, maryland does have the death penalty. it's rarely enforced, but prosecutors will have to consider it for this case.
7:11 pm
bonnie frederick, however, remains skeptical. everyone knows justice will not be served in montgomery county, maryland, there are only so many roads from north carolina to maryland and it's hunting season in the south. accidents can happen, just a thought. well, i guess. but mike grim says that's not really a very good thought, is it? wow, people really need to learn the system. they have to prove he actually did it and if they don't find any evidence, physical or dna, he will not be convicted. in this country, you are innocent until proven guilty. did he do it? i would say so, until they prove it, he is innocent. you know what, mike, you got that right. while we are all angry and sad what happened to william and his mom, thankfully, internet mob justice is not how we do things around here. and finally on an entirely different note, we got this from anna marie in annapolis who says thank you so much for airing dr. martin luther king, entire i have a dream speech monday night. i barely breathe for those
