dead. >> gadhafi is dead. >> reporter: derek, winston churchill said tt dictators ride to and from on tigers which they dare not dismount and the tigers are getting hungry. in libya today, the tigers fed. americas attacked a convoy that included gadhafi that was damaged in the attack. gadhafi taking cover in a drainage ditch under the road where he was captured by rebels who beat him. his face and body bloodied in these images. there are conflicting reports on how he was killed. suffering gunshots in his head, neck and back. a western journalist saw him in an ambulance. >> he was bare chested. there was some flood on his hands. but i could tell that he looked dead. and then i saw the top of his head. there was blood. >> reporter: rebels showed off a golden pistol gadhafi was

still closed. occupy dc protestors are hoping their occupation of union station tonight reaches one famous actor. harrison ford was at a fancy dinner with high powered ceos and standing right in front of the restaurant entrance 200 screaming demonstrators. the actor is on their list to target. brittany. >> reporter: well, to use one name, wal-mart. the ceo of wal-mart was eating dinner with harrison ford here. and to sum up their theme motto, occupy dc says he represents the 1%. call him indiana jones, he's man these people want. ? was inside union -- this was inside union station after protestors made their presence known. the demonstrators rotating their chants. but regardless of the words,

treatment and parenting classes. >> drug treatment folks seem to think these people can be rehabilitated. who knows. what is one of the things we have to look and see. they think it's a chance. >> it is not clear whether moore will ever get her kids back. right now those kids are living with an aunt and uncle. well, closing arguments are expected in the trial of a former montgomery county elementary school accused of abusing her students. she lost her job as a first grade teacher in silver spring back when the charges surfaced in january. on the stand in her own defense today, burke painted an unflattering portrait of her young accusers describing them as trouble makers and one as a class clown. but later in the day, the principal who hired her and a fellow first grade teacher both testified that burke did not always tell the truth. an update now on a deadly shooting on a metro bus. dc police are looking for these two men as persons of interest. they got on board just before

22-year-old demetrius johnson was shot several times. it all happened after midnight in the 2100-block of alabama avenue. if you have info, police want to hear it. unconscionable. that's how they describe the treatment michael jackson got leading up to his death. today they closed their case against conrad murray on involuntary manslaughter charges. he claims the pop star caused his own death by swallowing an anesthetic. >> people don't wake up from anesthesia like that. people don't wake up to grab the next dose in a syringe, draw it up and put it in their iv again. it's a crazy scenario. >> schaefer testified today and called the doctor's efforts unconscionable, illegal and says murray used none of the safeguards he should have. the defense is expected to call their own expert to the stand tomorrow. dr. paul white, one of

schaefer's colleagues and friends. you got some of the bag salad in the frig. you might want to check the label. taylor farm retail is recalling about 3200 cases of bagged salad because they might be contaminated with salmonella. that was sold in virginia and other states under the brand name fresh selection, heb market side and taylor farms. they have best by dates ranging from october 13th to the 21st. so far no illness has been reported. file this next story under should have seen this one coming. remember when alabama ruled out all the immigrants and free up farm jobs for unemployed americans. many of the americans who went to work in the field have quit after just one day telling the farmers the work is too hard and the pay is not high enough. politicians who support the alabama law say you just need to give it some more time. and they might not have enough time. it is being challenged in the courts. this just in. a local food pantry will reopen

sooner than expected thanks in small part to 9news now. organizers at the action in community said they had a 50% increase in demand overnight. they could not keep up with it. they were going to be closed until november 1st. but thanks to a flood of donations, they will reopen next tuesday afternoon. 9news now has been covering their struggle to fill the shelves and the stroll tiers and workers say it -- volunteers and workers say it made an impact in people coming in to help. >> with the news coverage it's been incredible. i was on my way last night with 7:30 and a woman drove up with her two boys in the car and she said please don't leave. she said i know you're on the way home but the boys made me go through the grocery store right now. they knew they had friends in school that were hungry so we had to bring you food so they could feed their friends. >> the food pantry is also

[ laughing ]. >> your hair taking a beating. i heard that. let's talk about the temperatures because this is kind of cool. it's 55 at national but it's 36 in oakland. we pointed this out earlier this evening. it's only 170 miles and look at the difference in climate. most of the burbs in the 50s. satellite picture radar combined, one storm lagged behind and right now it's sitting over michigan. it's going to stay there and slowly drift northward. the good news is it's weak enough and far enough north and west of us where it's actually going to dry some dryer air in here overnight. in fact, we're going to see skies return partly cloudy. most of the clouds will be confined to pennsylvania border and northward through the night. here is the deal. we're actually in pretty good shape. breezy friday morning but not

i don't know if the receivers necessarily feel that way, but erik cook the new center has been practicing with beck all along. i think some feel bad for rex and he had one bad game and he's out. >> you mentioned erik cook the new center. he's one of a few new players/positions on the offensive line. they lost trent williams this past week. but having all of these new players shuffled around, what kind of effect does that have? >> definitely a negative effect. both guys are gone over there. carolina is not the best defense in the league. if you were playing the ravens, it would be a problem. it's good to get a break from an inferior defense and see what happens down the road. >> carolina has been setting records left and right and they're still 1-5. what kind of threat is he to the redskins defense? what kind of threat does he pose? >> he's a little bit different
