now news at 11:00 p.m. a fairfax man convicted of turning local girls into sex slaves. some as young as 12 years old. plus, topper is here to tell us, is it going to stay dry this weekend? >> and, this local street looks like the aftermath of a demolition derby. now the question, do the police chase cause it all? >> this is 9news now. >> and tonight, a neighborhood in outreach as there is no explanation as to how or why an out of control suv crashed into

a half a dozen parked cars. >> it all happened just after 2:00 this morning along the 1100 block of euclid. some neighbors are saying the police may be to blame in all of this. ken is live tonight with all the stunning images. ken. >> derek, that is a big question tonight. was this all the result of a police chase gone bad? we checked with cops, they say no. however neighbors out here tell a completely different story. whatever the case may be, take a look behind me. you can see the amazingly shocking damage left to these cars parked on euclid street. >> sounded like somebody was going to a cause. a whole bunch of clash, clash, clash. >> this neighbor said he immediately jumped out of bed and went outside. >> it was shocking to see. nearly half a dozen cars were crushed. mangled metal and unrecognizable car parts littered the street.

an exclusive picture obtained by 9news shows the suv that caused all of this came to rest on another jeep. police say officers were not chasing the suv and didn't cause it to wreck. neighbors on euclid tell another story. >> police were chasing the guy. they say it was a drunk driver. >> had the police stopped chasing them down here. it seemed like every time they chase them down here, they end up on a bad car crash. >> the driver of the black suv left the scene. neighbors tell us a female passenger who stayed was immediately interviewed by police. amazingly, no one was hurt. >> it's a miracle she is still walking, that you hit so many cars and are still here. that's a miracle. >> dc police chief kathy lanier wrote to us in an e- mail. she checked in with her communication supervisor. they poured over the emergency radio transmission and didn't find any proof of a police chase taking place here on euclid street. despite that, they did send a police captain out to take more

statements from witnesses. we're live in northwest d.c. 9news now. >> for now, still a bit of a mystery there. right now down at the dc convention center, the american prosperity dinner is letting out and occupy d.c. protesters are angry by the right wing agenda of the cook brothers who are the major sponsors. live with the latest from there. gary. >> derek, pardon me if i have difficulty hearing you. forgive me if i repeat information you have already given. we are at new york avenue in northwest d.c. at mt. vernon place just outside the convention center where a group of conservatives were meeting for a conference that were bringing folks from all over the country. closed intersections for several hours so there were backup traffic in the intersections around the convention center and confronted the people coming out of the conference. a block away, some feisty

conservatives got into a pushing match verbally with some feisty demonstrators and here's a taste of what that was like. the confrontation you are seeing took place at 10:30 after occupy dc protesters marched to and then surrounded the convention center blocking the exit so that participates in the conservative americans for prosperity event had difficulty leaving the building. high profile republicans like mitt romney, herman cain, and rudolph giuliani were taking part in the events. the tribute was to ronald reagan. the confrontation began. police say no arrests or property damage have been reported. but say that tonight's demonstration marks a more confrontational approach by demonstrators then the department has seen before. things have calmed down in the last 10 or 15 minutes. the only intersection that is blocked is by mt. vernon place. the only incident that took place, no arrest or property

damage reporting was in this intersection 15 feet from where we are now. one person drove into the crowd. one demonstrator was struck and taken to the hospital. we don't know the condition of that person who was hospitalized. that's it from here, derek and anita, back to you. >> thank you. also new at 11:00, prince georges county police working the scene of a deadly car accident. sky 9 over that scene near route 50 and martin luther king, jr. highway. we know two people confirmed dead in this three car accident. no word yet what caused the crash. the names of the victims have not been released. >> the only thing worse than stealing candy is stealing cookie money from the girl scouts. >> police are looking for two men accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from girl scouts out selling cookies outside the wal-mart. that's where kristin fisher caught up with a different group of girl scouts right back at it tonight. >> just look at them. how could you steal from girl

scouts? but it happened right here outside this wal-mart in bowie. >> kind of worried. >> six-year-old amelia phillips is worried because she is selling cookies in the exact same spot where another girl scout troop was robbed last week. >> i was outraged and angry. >> bowie police chief is looking for these two men caught on surveillance cameras inside the wal-mart. >> after he asked how much the cookies were, he grabbed the cash box. >> girl scout troop leader took off after the suspect. but then she was approached by someone that she thought was a good samaritan who said don't worry, i'll chase him, but it turned out. that was actually the second suspect and both ran off into the woods. >> now amelia wasn't there that day. the thieves got away with $200 worth of girl scout cookie money. >> that's the world we live in. there's some good people in the world and some bad people in the world and we are trying to

girl. men like these preyed on vulnerability of children. forcing them to form sex acts for $30 to $40. >> these young girls were forced to have sex in the back of gas stations, at construction sites, at motels across the area. >> on weekends and after parties, the girls were offered to ms13 members for sex free of charge. the feds would like any other victims to come forward regardless of immigration status. we also posted a national hot line number on our website, wusa9.com. an update now on a frightening attempted child abduction. this happened in fairfax county. police released a composite sketch of the suspect believed to be a 30 to 35-year-old hispanic man around 5'10" with a thin mustache. the 14-year-old says this man grabbed her as she was walking around the drive and kings hill court. she says the man had offered her a ride to school and lunged

when she wouldn't take it. the man was standing by an older model gray or black four door vehicle. one of the women accusing presidential candidate, herman cain of sexual harassment is speaking out. sort of. actually, she is letting her lawyer do the talking after being freed up from a confidentiality agreement that she had with the national restaurant association where she and cain worked together in the 1990s. there was more than one incident between cain and his client. >> she made a complaint in good faith about a series of inappropriate behaviors and unwanted advances. >> mr. cain knows the specific incidents that were alleged and if he chooses to not remember or not acknowledge those, that's his issue. >> as for cain, he was right here in dc during a campaign appearance and getting enthusiastic and he raised well over a million since the story
