in the mail bag tonight a fascinating debate over on the wusa9 facebook page ignited by the occupy protestors in san diego who for reasons that remain a mystery decided to have a moment of silence for
7:25 pm
the madman who decided to take a shot at the white house a week ago. many one saying it was a terrible thing but had this guy had any ties to the tea party or attended a tea party rally it would be major national news calling the tea party hateful, violent and racist. where are the liberals now? where are the calls for the 99% demanding an end to the violence and disruption to the lives of everyday americans who actually live for the living. that is a decent question. but rick has a different question. he wonders why the long arm of the law is wielding such an iron fist at oscar ortega- hernandez. why did the justice department overreach with the attempted assassination charge. how could it be an attempt to kill the president from 750 yards away when the president isn't even in washington at that time. what is their point? the guy aimed a point at the white house with the intent of
7:26 pm
killing the president. law doesn't take into account whether the assailant could pull it off. he may have some pretty serious issues. that's a different issue though. this one came into mcginty's mail bag. chuck writes. pizza a vegetable? tomato is classified as a fruit. very good call. i think this is not so much about congress or anything else as much as the power of folks who bring you frozen pizza who did not want to be frozen out of the school lunch business. we welcome your business in mcginty's mail bag. the address is mailbag@wusa9.com. that is our report. i'll be right back here tonight at 11 p.m. along with anita brikman. don't forget, log on anytime at wusa9.com. and topper will have his snow cast for us at 11 p.m. you'll want to watch it. see you then. captions by: caption colorado, llc 800-775-7838 email: comments@captioncolorado.com
