>> the marchers say they did face some hecklers on the road. people screaming, get a job. there's been trouble here at mcpherson square as well. park police picked up a man last night. accusing him of fourth degree sexual offense. unlawful touching of another man as well as theft. but they are still investigating and it is really not clear if the u.s. attorney will prosecute. anita. >> looks like their numbers are growing behind you. bruce, thank you. student protesters are setting up shop on the campus of the university of california davis. campus police broke up the original occupy protest last week. dousing demonstrators with pepper spray who were sitting on the ground. now a new group is calling for the university chancellor to step down. >> three american college students are under arrest in egypt for allegedly participating in violent demonstrations that have been going on there. one, a georgetown student.

minutes to get across the icc from 270 over to i-95. i was flying. 55, 60 miles per hour in rush hour in the rain. it's true. but let me tell you the story here. it took me a long time of crawling at 15 miles an hour to get to the icc and now that i'm continuing my trip north up to vbi, i am crawling again at about 15 miles per hour. but, i do believe i'm ahead of delia. i'm just now crossing into howard county, maryland. north of laurel. so i'm continuing to move north and hopefully i'll make that flight. >> all right. we'll let delia have the final word on that. where are you, delia? >> he absolutely is ahead of me. however, we made good time considering yeah, we are in rush hour holiday weekend and it's raining. so we just got on to 95.

on a crime spree across northern virginia. she is 26-year-old stephanie lynn schwab. she testified at murder trial six years ago that she ran away when she was 12 and joined the street gang ms13. schwab may be driving a stolen silver acura. a judge rescheduled the hearing for jerry sandusky. it's now going to take place december 13. sandusky is accused of sexually abusing eight boys over a span of 15 years. prosecutors will have to show they have enough evidence to take on the trial. >> a state delegate from prince william county has proposed a bill aimed at making abortion illegal in virginia. that delegate believes human life begins at feater

welcome back to 9news with an update on our icc challenge. scott broom and delia left montgomery mall just after 5:00 bound for bw airport. right now they are both on i-59 making their way north. scott is a few miles ahead after taking the newly opened icc. delia made it off the crowded beltway to i-95. she is also making progress, but as you can see, it's stop and go. we'll check back in with them at the end of the show to hear about the trip. lesli. >> lots of traffic over the thanksgiving holiday and cooking the perfect meal is on a lot of our minds. it's hard to do when you can't afford the turkey. kristin fisher spent some time

at fedex field today where the redskins did their part. >> oh my goodness. this is absolutely wonderful. it helps tremendously. i mean, just think. this is close to $100 worth of groceries that i didn't have to pay for. >> she is one of the 3500 people in prince georges county getting a free thanksgiving feast from the washington redskins. >> this is an awesome opportunity for someone to have a thanksgiving dinner. a lot of families are fighting each and every day. any way we can give back and make it easier is a blessing. >> we started this nine years ago as a very, very important activity giving back to the community. prince georges county has been great to fedex field, to the redskins. we are so thankful. >> dan schneider wants to make sure the fans and families who need it most are the ones that get the free food. so every person here has to prove they live in prince

us. this will come in tonight. actually, bring in much warmer air as well. we're left with light rain and drizzle right now. but primarily, you know, montgomery county. the river northward is where most of the rain stops. at least the significant rain. it's all light to moderate. out 50, especially out 50 toward annapolis and up 95 toward baltimore and scott and delia begin to dual it out tonight. temperatures very nice. 55 in arlington. 55 in bethesda. 56 in beltsville. 55 down in fort belvoir. you will see milder air roll in. so, more rain on the way. rain and thunderstorms tonight. breezy and milder over night. morning rain tomorrow, then windy. we'll get a break. some breaks in the clouds and showers and colder late in the day. so, we'll put this into motion. we'll take you in the morning

immediately after sunday's overtime loss. redskins quarterback went off in the locker room, blaming himself, going so far to say he wasn't earning what the team was paying him and he should be cut. you can talk that up to the emotion of the game. the play he's talking about on 3rd and 15. romo to bryant. that set up the game winning field goal. in the day since, the rest of the d has come to hall's defense. >> at the end of the day, it's a team. all of us could have done something better. myself included. so, something we have to learn from and get better. >> and skins made some moves today. they released runningback just two days after getting playing time. and they signed runningback and 6th round draft pick from the

practice squad. some basketball, jt and the georgetown hoyas in maui. henry sims says, i don't think so. gets the block. hoyas bring it back down court. thompson gets the easy layup. 25-13. then jason clark helps the hoyas. clark 14 points. hoyas lead at half. the washington capitals snapped their four-game skid last night with a comeback victory over phoenix and considering they had a game every other day for the past two weeks, the coach decided to give his guys the choice to take the day off. of course; most of them took advantage. only nine players showed up. gabby benched for last night's game. one day later, simmons seemed okay with the decision, smiling during practice, signing autographs. he explained that the benching was nothing personal. >> i don't have to go up every
