>> the county police are looking for the driver of an s.u.v. that hit a pedestrian and drove off. the s.u.v. hit a man trying to cross richmond highway at lockheed boulevard. the driver stopped, then took off. he was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. no word on his condition. the police said that the s.u.v. was newer, a red jeep or similar sports s.u.v. with damage on the right front and if you have information, contact the fair fax county crime solvers. you could call it a thanksgiving miracle, a woman survived a firey crash because of three good samaritans. more on that video and the man that people are calling the thanksgiving hero. >> we are here with the bystanders that saved a woman

from a burning car, said to be the thanksgiving heros. it is a honda going up in flames after a terrible three- car accident. this is the man that took the pictures, but only after rescuing the woman that was trap understand the car moments before. >> i hope that it did not blow up and she was screaming and it started to go down the side of the car and she said her hand and legs were broke, but he had to do what he had to do. >> two others helped drag them away and you can see them in the video and the bystanders were credited with saving her life. she was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the rescuers said she would have died if not for these heros

this thanksgiving. it has been 95 days since the earthquake in virginia, but the ground there is still shaking. they have recorded three aftershocks there this week alone. this last one was around two on wednesday and about 50 have hit that area since the august quake. when you thought we could not beat yesterday's weather, it is upper 60s and sunny. it would be a great day in september, let alone late november. >> it is. looking at the almanac, 63 in downtown, but some areas got to the upper 60s and the average high is 54. the record high on this date was 79 in 1973. we d did get down to 38 early this morning. the temperatures are holding in the 50s around town.

used pepper spray on the competition. >> a woman in a black hood decided to spray some pepper spray. >> unbelievable, police are looking for that woman. in north carolina, someone opened fire at a mall as the shoppers got there for the early morning sales. maybe a employ to spread the crowd. no one was hurt. in kissimmee, two men came to blows at the walmart jewelry counter, the police had to deal with the aftermath of the fight. stores that opened at midnight made some shoppers angry, but did it make them angry enough to stay home. >> i did not get here in time for that one. >> it is 6:00 a.m., the doors are open at kmart, but this is thursday, thanksgiving day. we found these customers

final numbers until sunday, but it looks like this will be a very, very successful black friday. one target employee said that the early opening was the reason for a car accident. the woman went into a river after she fell asleep at the wheel because she was tired from working the overnight black friday shift. she was under water five minutes before the deputies pulled her out. and more on the anti-black friday, it was low key and without innocent. this sign said it all, bring what you can, take what you need. everything is free. no credit cards, the selection was a little to be desired. the black friday deals are not just for the tablets, you could pick up a new pet. there is a black friday special for the hope for the holidays
