11:16 pm
me, and i quote here "the occupation in and of itself is a demand". well, that didn't make a lot of sense to me. i called the demonstrations a little more than a temper tantrum. but now i'm starting to think a tantrum does tend to catch your eye. and in the nation where the meaning of the word 99% have been forever changed, well that is clearly worth something. here is something else. a new survey from the two research centers says 2-thirds of americans now believe there is a strong conflict going on between rich and poor in this country, and that is up from less than half of us who felt that way two years ago. well, does that mean the occupy people are fanning the flames of class warfare? well, maybe. but i don't think they started it. lesli. >> something to think about, derek. well, you saw the story first on 9 last summer, and this week we received another e-mail telling us that a tat ered flag was, once again, flying in a georgetown park. a memorial to the man who wrote

11:18 pm
it to be hot and good. >> it's convenient having it delivered as opposed to running out to the store. >> i guess you can have it your way at the station or wherever you are. >> and the most important thing, the fries are crispy and they're good. no one cares about the burgers. >> the second most important thing is $2 delivery fee and tip the guys, please. >> it was pretty impressive. >> it is. >> i'm not so sure we need it. it's kind of good. >> delivery is good. if you live in new york, mcdonald's was delivering when i lived in new york in 2000. >> really? >> absolutely. anything delivered to me. >> i see. all right, topper. >> all right. 58 today. i mean, it was magnificent in the afternoon. it will be a little colder or chilly tomorrow. but, remember, tomorrow is going to be average. that's what it should be in january. let's start with a live weather camera brought to you by michael and son. there is a shot of the capitol. the flags are still whipping. the front itself is still just over the mountains. so we've got another couple hours. three or four hours.
