the snowiest months of february ever in just one day. out west in the foothills 35 inches of snow and it's still coming down. there's been a lot of problems in the eastern plains with winds closing roads and highways and making life really tough on truckers. in terms of the airport, projected 600 flights canceled in the denver area. that's causing problems for people trying to get out of town. we talked to people trying to get to the super bowl in indianapolis. that's not happening now. we talked to people who have weddings here this weekend. they've had to adjust their plan because people can't get into denver. schools are canceled throughout the entire area. so it's been quite the event here, february in denver actually not one of the snowiest months we have here. so when we're talking about 12, 14, even 17 inches in the downtown area, as i said, would put us at one of the snowiest months of february and that's just with a 24 hour window.
