thing. the controversy i must see to myself. no controversy today. we have your bus stop forecast. sunshine. frosty conditions out there. a lot of frost driving in. you'll be scraping the windshield. frost and temps in the 20s. clear skies although we've got fog in the mountains. out toward cumberland looking at visibilities a quarter mile or so with a dense fog advisory till 9:00 a.m. mid-30s 8:00 a.m. upper 40s by noon and 4:00 p.m. 53. we're going to top out around 55. average high still in the mid- 40s. wind southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. by tonight back in the mid-40s. the weather headline a frosty start with the fog west. we'll have a mild day today and again tomorrow. both days we'll see highs in the middle 50s. but a clipper comes wednesday into wednesday night. that could bring us some flurries, even light snow. i think it's going to be cold

there's a lot of rain down in south florida where temperatures are still in the 70s at this hour. miami last check 73. around here high pressure is building in but we're going to have this northwesterly flow. that's where we're going to watch the chill and the clipper come from as we head into wednesday. today, tonight, tomorrow fairly quiet. a little system passing off the carolina coast. some showers for them. tomorrow notice the snow showers to our north. this system is going to drop off toward the south. the chilly air trying to move in toward ohio and new york state here for tuesday evening. for us, though, watch how this energy then comes in by wednesday morning across ohio and kentucky. that's going to approach us middle i think afternoon on wednesday into wednesday night. that's when we've got the chance for our own flurries or light snow to develop around here. otherwise pretty nice start to the week. grab the jacket this morning but this afternoon we're in the 50s. mid-50s. tonight low to mid-30s for most of us. tomorrow back in the mid-50s.

route 4 pennsylvania avenue heading toward oxon hill and the wilson bridge. lanes are open t. is incident free in toward alexandria. coming up in my next report, we'll take a peek into virginia. >> see you then. thanks. it is 4:49 now. a warning to parents about teens and secondhand smoke. in the first national estimate of its kind, a report from the centers for disease control researcher says more than one in five high school students and middle schoolers ride in cars while others are smoking. overall 22% of teenagers and preteens were exposed to secondhand smoke in cars in 2009. in this kind of secondhand smoke -- and this kind of secondhand smoke expost sur has been -- exposure has been linked to breathing problems, allergies and more. scientists have discovered a gene which raises the risk of a stroke. british researchers say people who inherited the gene from both parents had double the risk. doctors say a better underring of how this gene works could

contest. thousands of students across the country submitted sketches of their dream properly dresses. she not only gets a trip to new york but a $25,000 scholarship and her design will be featured in "17 magazine." this weekend in chicago and new york, people paid tribute to the soul train founder. don cornelius started the show while working at a chicago radio station. he was 75 years old when he died last wednesday in los angeles of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. in new york hundreds of people showed up for a flash mob soul train dance line in times square. 4:57. macy gray prepares to release a new album with some pretty familiar sounds on it. >> we have that and more in this look at entertainment headlines. >> reporter: macy gray is
