office spoke with reporters. >> reporter: the family of whitney houston is making arrangements to pick up the superstar's body from the coroner's office. >> i don't know when the family is going to have the body, have her body picked up. sometimes it takes a couple of days. >> reporter: officials performed an autopsy sunday but it could be weeks before investigators know the exact cause of deaths. >> reporter: the music world gave a heartfelt tribute to the singer at the grammys. jennifer hudson moved the audience with her signature song, "i will always love you ." >> learning to sing and trying to figure out how to do runs to her song. >> reporter: houston was found dead in the bathtub saturday night. there were prescription drugs found in houston's hotel room,

most of his grandchildren while he awaits trial. however, the judge ruled that sandusky cannot see three of his grandchildren. they are the subject of a custody battle ethe judge is also allowing sandusky to use a jury, chosen from the state college area, to hear his case. the attorney general's office also wanted an out of county jury for trial. it is back to court for a former university for a former virginia lacrosse player george hugeley. huge guy is charged with killing yardley love. friday jurors watched the interrogation video the day love's body was found. in the tape hugeley told police he went to her apartment to talk but she started screaming and hitting her head against the wall. hugeley and at least two jurors cried while that tape was played. another trial begins today

for cornelius williams. he is accused of killing trooper wesley brown in 2010. brown was working part-time security at an apple bee's restaurant. funeral services for alexandria paramedic joshua weissman will take place this week the paramedic died friday, a day after he fell from a roadway, while responding to an emergency. and he suffered a severe head injury. visitation takes plays wednesday at the funeral home on braddock road in alexandria and funeral services with honors will take place on seminary road. weissman will be laid to rest at ivy hill cemetery in alexandria. president obama is out with his spending plan for the 2013 fiscal year. danielle nottingham reports that the budget proposal is already

under fire from republicans who say it does not do enough to cut the nation's deficit. >> reporter: president obama unveiled his 2013 budget proposal at a northern virginia community college. >> the truth is, we are going to have to make some tough choices in order to put this country back on a more sustainable fiscal path. >> reporter: included in the massive spending plan is a request for $8 billion to encourage colleges and business to his train workers in high growth industries. the plan was delivered to congress this morning. it includes $4 trillion in deficit reduction over ten years, cuts to military, and domestic spending, a renewed plea for tax hikes for the very wealthy, and $350 billion to stimulate job growth. >> reporter: the president's budget forecast a $901 billion deficit for next year. that falls short of his goal to cut the deficit in half by the

end of his first term. >> reporter: republican critics started bashing the president's proposal even before it was released. they argue it does not do enough to hold down the deficit. gop congressman paul ryan is preparing an alternative to the president's budget. his plan calls for more spending cuts through an overhaul of medicare and would not increase taxes on the wealthy. the debate is expected to dominate the presidential race, and the budget battle likely won't be resolved until after the election. danielle nottingham, cbs news, the white house. senate republican leader mitch mcconnell says he will put the president's budget up for a vote in the senate, where he predicted it would fail, as it did last year. the president and ceo of the martin luther king national memorial project foundation says plans to change an inscription will quote threaten the design, structure and integrity of the monument. harry johnson is echoing

criticisms made by the foundation's architect. the national park service has announced how it will correct a paraphrased quote. the paraphrase reads i was a drum major for justice, peace and righteousness. and it drew a lot of criticism from those who said it portrayed dr. king as arrogant. king's exact quote from that speech, given two months before his assassination actually reads yes, if you want to say i was a drum major, say that i was a drum major for justice. say that i was a drum major for peace. i was a drum major for righteousness, and all of the other shallow things will not matter. four protesters are in police custody after they demonstrated on the memorial bridge. two of the protesters were suspended by ropes under the bridge so they could hang a free tibet banner. 5000 protesters marched south on connecticut avenue northwest on their way to lafayette park.

rioters set buildings on fire and clashed with police in athens, greece as lawmakers voted to approve new austerity measures. the bill includes cuts to minimum wage, pensions and slashes thousands of civil service jobs. it also qualifies greece for billions of dollars from the european union and international monetary fund. as the financially struggling country tries to avoid bankruptcy. right now, crews are working to empty funds of fuel from the -- tons of fuel from the luxury liner still aground off the coast of italy. a memorial service is planned
