will, that's why i'm anticipating 70s once again. outside on our michael & son weather camera, you see the low clouds over the capitol right now. cool looking. 52 degrees with a northeast wind at 9 and dew point in the upper 40s so it feels like it's in the upper 40s, if not mid- 40s out there. clusters of showers and storms spread out from southern missouri all the way back toward new york state now. this boundary is going to be coming through. that's why we have the let for showers and storms in the forecast at times today into this evening. we'll get better tonight when things clear out. 75 today. a shower or two this morning. better chance of showers and storms this afternoon and this evening. tonight we're down in the 50s again. tomorrow partly sunny, 74. i think generally in the 60s for the marathon in the morning and the half marathon if you're running in that. then sunday a cooler day. only in the mid-60s which is still about 9, 10 above average. next week we'll warm up back in the low to mid-70s.

2d does but you say the difference is 3-d looking all around like a hologram that we see on tv versus something flat. >> that's right. it's a standard two dimensional mammogram. it's just that, two dimensional. a breast is a three dimensional structures. some of the normal structures can overlap on a two dimensional mammogram and make it seem like there's something abnormal in a breast. that's a common reason for a woman to be called back from her screening ma'am grab. we hope -- mammogram. we hope we can significantly reduce or eliminate these issues with overlapping normal breast tissues. this is especially important for women who have dense breasts, a come problem when tissues overlap in dense breasts. so we hope in particular it will help us reduce that issue and detect small but significant tumors in dense breasts that can be hidden by those overlying tissues. that's what the three dimensional imaging will help us most. >> we saw a little bit of the exam right here.

it looks the same as when i go for my regular screening mammogram but it's happening all at the same time? >> yes. from the patient's point of view, you have a mammogram just like you always have. it isn't compression. it lasts a little bit longer, about four seconds but it allows us to obtain the images, very fire row images over the breast and re-- narrow images over the breast. >> it gives you confidence and has to give the patient confidence. >> we've seen everything in more detail. it's less likely that patient will then have to be called back from the screening mammogram for additional imaging so it makes everybody feel better and more confident about the diagnosis. >> dr. greenburg, thank you very much for being here with us. we'll have more in the next bud
