randall pinkston is in sanford, florida with more. >> reporter: this surveillance video obtained by abc news shows george zimmerman in hands cuffs become taken into the -- being taken into the sandford, florida police station. he shot trayvon martin in self- defense after the teenager allegedly punched him and slammed his face into the concrete. but the attorney for the family says the video tells a different story. >> there's no evidence from that video that he beat his head against the concrete. there's no visible evidence his nose was broken. >> reporter: zimmerman's father is speaking for the first time and says his son's nose was broken. former judge robert zimmerman said quote trayvon martin got on top of him and just started beating him. other than zimmerman no witnesses have come forward but some neighbors heard screams and called 911. >> you think he's yelling help? >> yes. >> reporter: the question is who cried out for help. zimmerman's father insists it's

his son's voice but trayvon's mother believes it was her son's voice on the tape. >> that's my boy, that's my son on the tape. >> reporter: they are hiring voice recognition experts to analyze the voice on the calls. randall pinkston, cbs news, sanford, florida. we will have to wait until june to learn the outcome of the health care case in front of the supreme court. the issue was if the requirement that all americans must buy insurance is struck down does that mean that the entire law is canceled? the white house is betting that the law will be ruled constitutional. >> there's no contingency plan thiazin place. we're focus -- that's in place. we're focused on implementing the law and we're confident the law is constitutional. >> i think even if the court did nothing more than strike down the individual mandate. it would be a significant victory and a landmark decision of the supreme court. >> court watchers believe the

outcome will come down to the vote of chief justice john roberts and associate justice anthony kennedy. they asked pointed questions of lawyers who support the law. the woman charged with shooting gay man this month was in court today. 27-year-old lashawn carson was arrested monday and charged with aggravated assault. carson is pregnant. her attorney asked for his client to receive assistance in jail saying that carson is having difficulty with her pregnancy. carson is due back in court next month and she could face hate crime charges. the victim in the case survived. federal investigators are questioning after a man after he tried to carry explosives on a plane to philadelphia. the flight was bound for san francisco. authoritiessy they found a device -- say they found a device in the plan's backpack -- man's backpack. so far they are not releasing his name and he has not been

charged. the jet blue pilot who allegedly had a healthdown has been charged. people who -- meltdown and has now been charged. people who know clayton osbon say the incident is totally out of character. susan mcginnis reports that federal investigators are leading the inquiry. >> reporter: the passengers had to pin down in midair has been charged with interfering with a flight crew. a federal affidavit states captain clayton osbon became incoherent tuesday while at the controls and turned off the plane's radios. according to documents the 49- year-old then told his copilot we need to take a leap of faith and we're not going to vegas. >> reporter: realizing there was a problem, the copilot locked the captain out of the cockpit and requested an emergency landing. mark saluk was sitting in the front row. >> i'm looking at this happening and he's getting more and more violent. >> reporter: when the incident

escalated he helped subdue the captain. >> he started yelling inside you know to the flight deck you know throttle to idle. throttle to idle. al-qaeda is here. >> reporter: what caused the captain's behavior is still noton. the fbi is forget -- known. the fbi is investigating. he has no disciplinary records. fred walker also a pilot, says he's known osbon for at least ten years. >> he was just an all-around good fella. >> reporter: walker says the incident is out of character and says pilots deal with a lot of pressure. >> it is stress in flying. especially when you got 200 people sitting behind you depending on you. >> reporter: when the flight landed in texas tuesday, security restrained osbon and he's reportedly undergoing a mental health evaluation at this texas facility. susan mcginnis, cbs news, washington. >> tuesday's flight was scheduled to go from new york city to las vegas. captain clayton osbon faces up

tina krause has more. >> reporter: arab foreign ministers gathered at one of saddam hussein's former palaces for the first arab league summit in iraq in 20 years. two blasts hit baghdad just as the conference began. iraqi officials hosted the event to prove the country can maintain security. after u.s. troops left in december. only ten of 22 arab league members are taking part. media leaders disagree on how far arab countries should go to stop the violence in neighboring syria. >> there's no time to waste. >> reporter: secretary general moon says syrian president bashar al-assad must act quickly on the u. n.-backed peace plan he has agreed to. the deal demands the cease fire but dropped the call for assad to step down. the sunni power of saudi arabia is pushing to stop the violent

weather service, i tell you these areas going to get cold too. maybe a frost advisory posted later on especially up to the pennsylvania border and some of our areas west of i-81. now today, it's been a windy day and look at winds in a moment. still got the gusts out of the northwest close to 30 miles an hour. sustained winds at 20-mile-per- hour range and a windy afternoon. temperatures will get to the low to mid-60s for highs and stay sunny all day. tonight the mid 50s by 9:00. partly cloudy skies. but going to be clear to partly cloudy with lows by tomorrow morning mid 30s in the suburbs. maybe 40, 42 here in d.c.. lookinged a winds gusting to -- at winds gusting to 26 right now at reagan national and easton and 23 in hagerstown. earlier we had some gusts close to 30 and that would not be out of the question as we go through the afternoon. as far as the teemments, we're up to -- terms, we're up to 60 at reagan national.

let's have today's one-on- one segment. i recently had a conditions to experience a -- chance to experience a taste of tuscany without leaving the country. you can go to italy too in our own kitchen. you know i love italian food and i have an expert here with me. who knows all about italian food. gina stipo is from the tuscany region of italy. thank you for being here. >> thank you very much for having me. >> and you have the ecco la cucina. >> that's the name of the company that i own in italy. i do cooking classes and we do culinary tours and it means here's the kitchen.

>> oh right. and today you're going to prepare very simple recipe that even i can prepare. >> absolutely. >> with chicken. so how do we start? >> i have two things to prepare for you today. the first is roasted chicken. roasted economicken is always wonderful whether it's cold outside or hot outside and it's extremely simple to make. you take a cut chicken and put it in the roasting pan. i'm going to ask you to go ahead and pull the leaves off of the sage. >> oh i love sage. >> we're using two herbs to flavor this. sage and rosemary, just pull it off and toss it right in. they are the two most commonly used herbs in tuscany. they set our cooking apart from other regions in italy. we toss that and i have some whole garlic and we're just going to throw those in. >> that's it? >> that's it. and then we take the lemons and we squeeze the lemon whole pieces cut in small pieces like this. >> okay. >> toss those in and you will eat the lemon too when you roast it all up and it's just beautiful. the skin and everything. >> look at this. >> then we take some extra virgin olive oil. very important. little bit of oil gets dressed

all over that. >> you didn't put anything underneath the chicken. just sat it in the pan. >> nope, then we used some sea all the. i always -- salt. i always use sea salt. much better for you than anything. then i'll do this part. >> all right. >> then we're just going to toss this. >> okay. >> now you want to bury the pieces of herbs and lemon so that they don't get burned. you're going to be -- turning the chicken as it browns. >> oh really? >> and so you just bury that like that and wash my hands off here. and then we have some white wine. a little white wine. that's going to keep it moist while it's cooking. >> uh-huh. >> it's also going to give you a little bit of a sauce. okay? >> we put this in the oven? >> that goes into a hot oven. about 400 degrees, as it browns turn it and -- >> how often -- >> once or twice. just to see how it's cooking and when it looks like this you take it out. >> look at this, isn't that beautiful? then you have kale. running out of time. that's the kale. that's beautiful. >> right. kale and swiss chard. this is what we eat for
