what has become a nationwide controversy surrounding the killing of trayvon martin, a mortician, an eyewitness and the shooter's brother all break their silence. >> they are telling what they believe happened when george zimmerman shot and killed the 17-year-old. ken is here to sort this out. >> reporter: the details we're getting aren't coming from authorities but by others close to the case. >> i did not see any evidence that he had been in such a fight. >> reporter: it's an account coming from an unusual source. the mortician that embalmed trayvon's body. >> you cannot miss cuts and bruises on the hand because the hand is a part that is vubl. >> reporter: the other side of the story that's being told is

much different. george zimmerman's brother was on the tonight show defending his brother's action when he shot and killed the 17-year-old. >> and there would have been george dead had he not acted decisively and instantaneously in that morning when he was being disarmed. >> reporter: his brother was bloodied and beaten by trayvon. this shows zimmerman at the police department following the shooting. much has been made of what injuries, if any, his brother shows. his brother thinks it's proof zimmerman was hurt. >> what i think i see is a swollen nose. >> reporter: neither the mortician or the shooter's brother was present at the time of the shooting. an unidentified witness says zimmerman seems rattled but not injured. >> he didn't appear hurt or anything else. he just kind of seemed very worried. >> reporter: what really happened that night is still very much a mystery. even the voice yelling for help

in the 911 regarding is being debated. he said just two days ago it was his son. the shooter's brother said it was george zimmerman. >> thank you. she says she was a cia spy in training who was abused and fired by the agency after it sent her to what she calls a secret psychiatric prison in northern virginia. now gary nurenberg is here to report she's fighting back 140 characters at a time. gary. >> reporter: well, anita, 35-year-old lena williams is tweeting her complaints about the cia. the georgetown graduate says she wanted to be a spy to serve her country. she describes her experience using the words. >> unfavorable, unfair, discriminatory, harassment, psychological abuse, psychiatric abuse. torture. >> reporter: she says she was a dia analyst in iraq before moving to the cia to become a spy. >> i was with the cia for about

three and a half months before i was sent to their secret psychiatric prison. >> reporter: and now tweets about what she calls her abuse by the cia. the cia can't stop the truth. dia cannot compare to any of cia's knots. my goal is to get the word out about dia and cia brainwashing. if member of congress failed the cia shrink test, send them to prison. if the president fail, bye bye if you can't deal with the cia security. she writes about cia crimes. >> ultimately i got in a car accident and they sent me to their secret prison. >> reporter: a secret psychiatric prison. >> yes. >> reporter: that's a pretty dramatic description. >> right. >> reporter: what is it? >> it's a psychiatric facility located in northern virginia. >> reporter: do you think there's any chance that you have mental failing that would have prevented you from being a good case officer. >> no. i'm 100% sure that they're incorrect. the system is corrupt. >> reporter: she says she sued

and continues to defend herself and attack the cia online. >> i believe that by tweeting and blogging i am serving my country by exposing cia's fraud. >> reporter: cia spokesman declined to comment on the story. but we thought this use of social media to take on the cia is worthy of mention. we'll watch the progress of her legal case. but after these tweet attacks, she concedes she won't be working for the cia in her future. >> it would seem unlikely. thank you, gary. new at 11:00, a child airlifted to a hospital after being hit by a golf cart. now, this one happened late this afternoon at the brenton woods country club. that child was taken to the medical center in dc with pretty serious injuries. high school girls as young as 16 conned into the world of prostitution and trapped there by a street gang that uses drugs, alcohol, even a knife to the throat. all this allegedly happening in northern virginia.

with one investigator describing the girls as indentured sex slaves. they have charged five men with running this operation. all five linked to a fairfax county gang. investigators say the suspects would approach the girls on the metro, on the street or even try to recruit them through facebook. >> do you want to make some money? and through flattery and coercion and threats of violence, they would lure the young women into acts of prostitution. >> and investigators say the ring leader would prostitute the girls in motels, even going door to door soliciting customers in apartment buildings. the former superintendent of the big branch mine in western virginia pleaded guilty. gary may who you see in the background of that photo was charged with hiding safety violations after the april 2010 explosion at the mine. it killed 29 men. may will be sentenced on april 9th. he faces up to five years in

prison and a $250,000 fine. tonight firefighters from colorado say they are making some progress in containing the deadly wildfire. so far that fire has burned more than six square miles, destroyed at least 27 homes and killed two people. right now the wildfire just outside denver is about 45% contained. firefighters say some light winds are helping them out, but that could all change because storms are coming over the weekend. some people are now being allowed back into their homes. but officials warn they could have to evacuate again. one family captured their dramatic escape on video as flames engulfed their jefferson county neighborhood. two of their neighbors did not make it out. didn't survive. and one of them is still missing. and as we report, they feel fortunate to be alive. >> that is very ominous looking out there. >> reporter: as danger burned closer, neighbors had a hard time getting answers. >> when i was first smelling smoke, i called. i called and i called again. 911. emergency dispatch said there

was nothing. >> reporter: kim olsen and her husband knew something was wrong. >> we told the kids to get a bag together and we started getting ourselves ready. >> reporter: by the time the emergency call came. >> we just got out of there. >> reporter: they found themselves driving through a tunnel of flames. >> daddy. >> you're going to be fine. >> where is mom? what are you stopping for. >> the voice on the video is caleb calming his sister. >> i didn't know if i was going to live. >> reporter: but the 13-year-old held it together. >> i knew chaos wouldn't solve anything so i tried to stay calm. >> we're here. we're here. >> oh, my god. >> okay. >> we're out. we're out. >> reporter: though the half mile felt forever, the family was safe in a matter of seconds. >> it's been an emotional roller coaster. we got them out with our lives and -- >> we're happy. >> reporter: their neighbors sam and linda lucas died in the fire.

their home reduced to ashes. >> by the time we had a 911 call, it wouldn't surprise me if their house was already on fire. >> those people were planning on leaving. it was a matter of not having enough time. >> reporter: olsen says they and the others should have been warned much sooner. >> i don't feel like they took it seriously. >> reporter: before the fire came this close. >> it was right downhill. there is no way they shouldn't have evacuated us. this can't happen again. >> reporter: the family still waiting tonight to find out if their house survived the fire and they won't know the condition of their home until they go back sometime next week. we're just five days away from the maryland primary. and how is this for a youth movement? two teenagerers, a guy who turned 20 all running for the prince county george school board. a graduate of roosevelt high. another roosevelt grad and a sophomore at maryland's campus. then there is 19-year-old edward barosa third running for

in tonight's health alert, skyrocketing numbers of children with autism. a new report from the cdc shows that 25% jump in cases since 2006. this new estimate says one in every 88 kids in the u.s. are on the autism spectrum from mild to severe. this is the highest ratio to date. the report also shows autism disorders are almost 5 times more common in boys with a 1 and 54 rate compared to 1 in every 252 girls. doctors are now trying to decipher what is behind the increase. >> we don't know all what's contributed to the increase. but we do know that doctors are better able to identify and diagnose. >> greater awareness, inclusion of milder cases. >> and, of course, there is always the possibility that there is a true incident. and if there is, that is something that has to be better

investigated. >> government stats also show more children are being diagnosed earlier by age 3. that's good for earlier intervention. but 40% are still not diagnosed until after age 4. a california company that openly indicateters to med caters to medical mare -- caters to medical marijuana will sell book. tomorrow they're expected to announce more notification for growing medical marijuana. tonight we take you behind the scenes at the university of maryland shock trauma center in baltimore. you're about to meet the chief trauma surgeon. the man who may save your loved one's life if they drink and drive or engage in other destructive behavior. he's the man that brings both heart break and hope. >> do you have any vital signs?

>> the doctor can sometimes put broken bodies back together. but sometimes he can't. >> the parents look at me and say can't you make it better. the answer is i can't. i say i can't make this go away. >> trauma copy. >> what is especially heart-breaking is that most of the traumatic injuries that bring a patient here are preventable. >> if you look at the patient that we see, over half of the people that are admitted here have some toxin on board, be it alcohol or some illegal drug. so, yes, it's our every day business. >> we have blisters that he's starting to get. >> and once a patient has made it through the doors of a shock trauma center, their options are slim. >> one is that you die. you're not there to see the effects that that has on your mom, your dad, the rest of your family. and that ripples on for years and years and years. the second is you get terribly injured. you end up vegetated from the

lanes of traffic and just barely misses that fellow on the motorcycle. check it out again. i mean, we're talking centimeters here, folks. all that happened just a few nights ago on a pretty busy highway in san antonio. thankfully everybody seems to be okay. it appears the blackberry just isn't flashy enough for us anymore. the company has been struggling to compete with the iphone and other touch screen models. now they have decided to give up on the individual consumer market and focus strictly on business customers. in the last three months, only 1 out of 20 smart phone buyers chose a blackberry. well, last week we showed you some photos of montgomery county police pulling over that man. well, tonight the police have released the dash-cam video. you can see the officer pull over the black lamborghini. the man stepped out, he has his full batman on. and check out the exchange with the cops. >> do you mind if i take a

son. temperatures are the low 50s. it's going to be a daytime high, daytime high. still nothing to worry about in the fruit trees or anything like that. friday will be seasonable but nice. it could be nice in late march with highs in the low 60s. that's okay. you will need to grab a jacket tomorrow morning and certainly sunglasses. we're talking sun in the morning. some showers possible friday night if you're headed out. it will be milder tomorrow night. and then cool and unsettled on the saturday but the latest information we have is it's not going to rain much at all. really more clouds than anything. so you'll be able to get some things done. that's good. all right. overnight tonight, look for clear skies. colder. winds will diminish. maybe a 1, maybe 2 blanket night. 34-44. winds will become northwesterly at 10 a little bit after midnight. now, by tomorrow morning, mostly sunny with a chilly start. you still need the jacket and

the kids will still need the jacket at the bus stop. temps in the 30s and 40s. winds will be light tomorrow morning and winds will stay light in the afternoon and become southeasterly at 10. so the same temps will feel a little warmer, i think. partly cloudy and pleasant. just a few clouds. we do stay dry through friday day. high temps then everybody should make it to 60 at least. maybe 61 in gaithersburg. maybe 62 in rockville. 63 in arlington and springfield. 63 in college park and 62 over in bowie. even out to the west, you're going to make 60. 62 in reston and 61 in sterling. maybe 60 in leesburg. it's going to be close. and 60 in manassas. but without much wind, it's going to feel pretty darn comfortable. we'll break it down. chilly to start. 36-44 at 6:00. by noon pretty nice. a little cool. 57-62. and by evening, 59-64. just a few clouds coming in late but dry. next three days, all right, on saturday temperatures still kind of cool but notice i just have
